Kelloggs Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Cereal

 I'm told Kelloggs Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Cereal is no longer on offer. I can't figure why other than the lack of peanut butter flavor. I mean, tasted mostly like chocolate to me.

I got it last year and on sale. I guess they were closing it out. I would never buy sugar cereal for reasons other than this blog but I do admit that this wasn't bad, it was just bad for me. 

Death in a box that you will love. Ask the company to bring it back if you want it for yourself. 

Kelloggs Rice Krispies Cereal Shocking Orange

 Kelloggs Rice Krispies Cereal Shocking Orange is just like normal Rice Krispies only with orange food coloring or the like. I have to admit this is a great idea because it's festive but not as bad for you as most Halloween options out there. 

Your kids will likely get upset and want sugar but with all the sugar we eat now days they may just drop dead. I wouldn't get this again without a good reason. I don't have kids.

Kellogg's Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin Cereal

 I ran across this Kellogg's Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin Cereal last year at the discount market and I can say it was there  for a reason. tasted like Styrofoam. 

I'm not a big cereal guy because I can't have too much sugar and breakfast cereal is something you eat if you're too lazy to cook. Further down that road, I can always find a new sausage to try at my local market (um, that came out wrong). That makes pre-sweetened breakfast cereal something I give to the birds. 

With this crud I don't know if the birds would forgive me for feeding it to them. I'd mix it with seeds for sure but I think they'd just pick the seeds out and move on.

They say it tastes like vanilla. They're wrong!

 

Kellogg's Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Frosted Flakes Cereal Light & Dark

 Kellogg's Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Frosted Flakes Cereal Light & Dark is a mix of normal and chocolate frosted flakes. The impact is rather meh for me, but this form of early onset child diabetes is okay. 

I will never understand these short term runs of cereal. I mean, if you buy frosted flakes will this really get you to buy more of them? 

I don't think this is any better than the normal version, but I guess it got me to buy a box so it works... Then again I got this at the discount market and it was on sale so maybe no one really wanted these.

 Post Bran Flakes Cereal are there for you to keep what you had last night moving through your gut as you face the new day. I have to admit I like this cereal. This is simple, fast, tastes fine, and keeps you from gathering mud in your gut. What more could you ask for?

Kashi Go Spark Flakes And Clusters Maple Brown Sugar Cereal

'Kashi Go Spark Flakes And Clusters Maple Brown Sugar Cereal' could have a longer name some how I'm sure. I mean, they sure love to torment me with these long food names. Some day they'll just stop naming products and just have you read the list of what they put in them. 

Once you get past the infuriatingly long name of this Kashi product the stuff is not bad. I ate it in like two days, but I didn't do much cooking other wise. 
 

Post Golden Oreo O's Cereal

 Nice try Post, but General Mills is the O maker. Golden Oreo O's Cereal is a hard sugary food that if eaten alone will only lead to more hunger. If you have a sensitive mouth this will be like chewing gravel. 

Look, I'm a big fat dude, and there was nothing I loved more as a kid then sweet cereal. Now, I'm a grown up fat dude, and I don't want to eat like that any more. If you must have cereal, get it without added sugar and sweeten it with fruit or berries. That will give you lasting energy and fill you up longer than this crap. 

Kellogg's Minecraft Creeper Crunch

 Would you believe that this Kellogg's Minecraft Creeper Crunch was a gift from a friend? I have some good friends I guess. Well, the friends are better than the cereal. This is not to say that this stuff is bad. It's, well, dominated by marshmallows and gets soft kind of quick, but past that it's okay. 

 I'm just not a big fan of sugar for breakfast and this kind of thing leaves me hungry. I would have gotten this if it showed up at the store, but I would not buy it if I didn't get a review out of it. 

Stuff is bad for you and not that great. 

General Mills Drumstick Classic Vanilla Cereal

General Mills Drumstick Classic Vanilla Cereal is a sad shadow of the ice cream it wants to be. I mean, is it bad? No. Bad for you? Yes. Is it as good as a drumstick? No, so much no. The noness of this not being as good as the real deal leaves you wanting for nothing.

This stuff just leaves a bad film in my mouth that makes me want to brush my teeth. I would rather have good old chex over these they are so disappointing.  

Get this for your kids and they will just want the real ice cream. Fail. 
 

Barbara's Organic Brown Rice Crisps Cereal

Barbara's Organic Brown Rice Crisps Cereal is like good old Rice Krispies, but not all that good. It's more just kind of old. There is no snap, crackle, or pop in these crisps.

If these are to be a replacement for the more common day starter then they are a fail. I didn't hate these I just didn't like them.

Kellogg's Peeps Cereal

Kellogg's Peeps Cereal is an odd idea because Peeps don't normally taste like much. This cereal is just meh, and being meh you should avoid it, because it's bad for you. If you like or dislike peeps you will be disappointed by this nightmare for your waistline.

Post Hostess Donettes Cereal Powdered Mini Donuts

Post Hostess Donettes Cereal Powdered Mini Donuts is a long named nasty cereal that tastes nothing like what it emulates. I love these mini donuts and have spent many a day on duty dunking them in my coffee. However, the cereal is bland by comparison and you can't dunk them in coffee. 

Sugar cereal should be eaten only by those who have a lot of hard work to do to start with, but this crap should never be eaten. Good old none sweetened cereal is much better. 

Kellogg's Chocolate Frosted Flakes Spoooky Marshmallows

Just in case you haven't got diabetes yet the sugar cereal is going on sale because no one in their right mind would buy Kellogg's Chocolate Frosted Flakes Spoooky Marshmallows at full price. Does it taste bad? No. It just tastes like sugar and chocolate powder with a few of those odd marshmallows thrown in. You still have to be an outright fool to buy more sugar in October. 

Girls Scouts Thin Mints Cereal by General Mills

Some people keep boxes of Thin Mints in their freezer so they can have them year round and not just when a girl scout comes over. That would make these a big thing for them. Me, I like to put my Thin Mints in the blender with some coffee and Bailyes Irish Cream, a few frozen bananas and may be some ice.

Would I do that with these? No, I mean, mint doesn't go all that well with cereal, and these just aren't that great. 

Quaker King Vitaman Cereal

Is that a misspelling on my Vitamin cereal or did they mean that to be King Vitaman? In any case, this only has six grams of sugar and is much better for you than just normal cereal. It's not as sweet and that dude on the box with the giant nose and spoon aren't creepy at all.  I'd still keep him away from your children. 

His cereal is a good compromise between sweetened and unsweetened and it's a shame they only make this in limited supply.  

Boo Berry Cereal

I think Boo Berry is the person the Lucky Charms Leprechaun hangs out with when his wife kicks him out of the house for coming home drunk. I'm not saying Lucky Charms is gay but I think he has bro sex every now and then after a few beers. 

That said this stuff is just kind of there. I find it unoffensive, but I can't figure why anyone would buy it unless its on sale which is why I did. It tastes like Fruity Pebbles with marshmallows. 

I do have to say I left it in the cabinet for so long that I'm surprised it's not stale so after the world ends you can chow down on this and Twinkies. 

Harris Teeter Crisp 6 Cereal

Crisp 6 Cereal by Harris Teeter is clearly a rip off of a more popular cereal. Thing is, this stuff is really good. I mean, I would get this again.

It's not a good cereal for eating without milk, I will grant you that, if you're goal is to eat this by the handful it not that great. Get this into the white and it's hard to say no to another bowl.  

Bear Naked Cereal Sweet Honey Clusters

Bear Naked Cereal Sweet Honey Clusters has got to be okay for you because I can't taste the honey. This is not a bad thing but more a, well, 'don't sugar yourself to death' thing. 

If you want me to tell you this is good cereal I can't say it's top of my list but then I'm not big on cereal. Mix this with your oatmeal and it will become more palatable. 

All and all, not a bad buy.
