Let Freedom Ring 4th of July Doughnut is just a good old glazed with some stripes and hard stars but when you eat it people say "what a patriot" instead of "Drop that you fat slob", or is that just me...I should have asked before I ate that guy for calling me a fat slob.

Cannibalism aside, meh, okay doughnut.

 Hillshire Farm Cheddarwurst Links tastes like hot dogs. They kind of are hot dogs but the fact that they taste like hot dogs makes the chedderwurst part a little silly. 

This stuff is kind of meh and so if you find it cheap then buy it, but at the normal price it's no better than any other winner. 

Oreo Red, White, and Blue with Popping Candy Creme

 Oreo Red, White, and Blue with Popping Candy Creme had a lot of 'cream' and it pops in your mouth. I have to say this is a odd cookie but the problem is that it doesn't take the milk as well. I think that there is a thing as too much cream, and these have reached that point. 

I'm not an Oreo fan but milk is the key to making these great cookies.

Limited Edition Seagram's Escapes Italian Ice Variety Pack

 The Limited Edition Seagram's Escapes Italian Ice Variety Pack is a patriotic way to say you can't hold your booze. The booze in this is not enough to get you drunk unless you pound these like a mad man. 

I like the colors and the flavors are good, but this is not the thing to drink to get you drunk. 

Get these for a party and the guest my just not barf all over the place. My kind of drink really.

Shroomeats Shroom Patties

 Shroomeats Shroom Patties will not make you see the pink dragon. Having one or two will not give you the ability to taste purple or smell green. They don't really taste like much to be honest with you.

If you're the kind of person that likes to put things on your burger you can drowned this in onions and sauces and make these just as satisfying as meat. 

If you overcook this stuff it will get rubbery and be less appealing. 

These are okay. I mean, I have had some really crappy vegan burgers and these are okay. I wouldn't get them again, but they don't repulse me.

Mother's Savanna Tiger Cookies

 Mother's Savanna Tiger Cookies are a chocolate conservation concept. Chocolate and conservation are two of my favorite things. I'm a fat man who doesn't want all those tasty animals to go away. 

These are kind of a meh for me. I like that they exist, but I wouldn't buy more.

Seagram's Escapes Blue Raspberry Italian Ice

Seagram's Escapes Blue Raspberry Italian Ice is the blue of a red, white, and blue combo, and I have to admit that it's not a strong flavor. Then this is not a strong alcohol.

This stuff will liven up the party but not get you drunk. I like it but not everyone does. 
 

Jell-O Play Beach Dessert Kit

Jell-O Play Beach Dessert Kit looks summer, but would be better served in winter. I don't much care for this, because the idea is that you take longer to make something to feed to your children. 

That and it's going to take some work to get it right.  Once you do get it right they are small and chewy. At the end of the day these would be better without the fruit snacks and once you take them away there isn't enough cookie crumb to make this whole thing work. 

Fail, total fail.

 
 

Seagram's Escapes Lemon Italian Ice

 Seagram's Escapes Lemon Italian Ice tastes like very mild lemonade I have to admit that I had eight bottles of the stuff and didn't put one in the blender to see what it was like iced. 

In the summer heat this is a fine beverage with low alcohol that will keep you hydrated but help you pee. Not bad.

Organic Que Pasa Tortilla Chips Sea Salt

 Organic Que Pasa Tortilla Chips are ground with volcanic stone and seasoned with Sea Salt. I have to admit these are thin and crisp chip that hold what you put on them just fine. They are thinner and crisper than most tortilla chips.

I couldn't tell you if that is a good thing, but I sure will buy these again.

Seagram's Escapes Cherry Italian Ice

 Seagram's Escapes Cherry  Italian Ice is a refreshing cherry drink that could use a stronger flavor. I mean, it's not bad and if you're drinking in the heat it's hard to get drunk on the amount of booze in this stuff.

Great for beating the heat, bad for getting drunk. My kind of drink really. 

Pleasant Prairie Pork Loin Riblets Mesquite BBQ Flavor

 Pleasant Prairie Pork Loin Riblets Mesquite BBQ Flavor taste nothing like mesquite or BBQ for that matter. I didn't expect much for a dollar. I got these at Dollar Tree.

I have to admit for the price these are some good ribs. I mean, the bones come out fine, and the meat is tender. If I see any more of these I'm likely to buy them. I can't figure why they are this inexpensive, but they hit the spot.

Pocas Bowl Noodle Spicy Crab

 Pocas Bowl Noodle Spicy Crab comes with a fork. I t comes with a fork! How is this not the most popular pot noodle on earth? That fork is really a big thing.

Past that I would have to say that this is not spicy as ramen goes and is, well, normal tasting. I didn't taste any crab. Then again, I haven't had crab in more than ten years I think and don't really recall what it tastes like. 

I guess that mean I should go eat crab, but this is really nice ramen to have. 

Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice

 Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice comes with so many herbs that it turns the water green. I'm told the icon of Uncle Ben is now considered offensive so it's going away. Funny how this kindly old man can get people upset. 

Anyway, rice isn't all that interesting, but this rice is not a bad idea. It's past just being rice which warrants it's box and price for the most part and really is more convenient than making this on your own.

You can make it on your own with less salt, but as I added no salt to any of food you see here then I don't think the rice was all that big of an issue. 

Miss you old man, you make some good rice. 

Mango Lemonade Slurpee

 The Mango Lemonade Slurpee at 7-Eleven is new to me. I have never seen them before but I must admit they do pack a good amount of mango with a bit of a need for lemon. Otherwise, this is a great flavor that really lends itself well to the cold slush that makes me want to feel the heat. 

I have to say that I have always been happy with my Slurpees, but this is a great improvement. I hope they stick around for a wile. Then again, I'm fat and should not drink Slurpees anyway. 

 

Blake's Turkey & Bacon Cottage Pie

Blake's Turkey & Bacon Cottage Pie is short on the bacon. I didn't notice any bacon, but then again bacon doesn't turn crisp in cottage pie. I'm a fan of cottage pie but bacon is just not a thing that belongs in one. 

That said, this is a fine cottage pie and well worth a try. I would have liked it to have more fiber and vegetables, but still, good stuff. Would buy again. 
 

Near East Rice Pilaf Mix Chicken

 Near East Rice Pilaf Mix Chicken is one of those things you make to add to your meal that you don't think much about. I mean, it's good but not a standout. It's something to put on your plate that is made of rice but not as snooze inducing.

This is also salty enough so that you shouldn't be adding any more salt to your meal. I added pepper to my chicken and herbs to my cauliflower the result being well worth eating.  

In short, this pilaf is pleasant to the eye and pallet, but not memorable enough to strike conversation. 

JJ's Bakery Lemon Pie

 JJ's Bakery Lemon Pie is the kind of snack pie you should never eat because they are really bad for you. As bad as they are is how good they tend to taste and this one is no exception. 

I just love to sit with a cup of coffee and one of these as I watch a good movie. Then I remember I'm fat and I feel bad about eating them because they are so bad for me.

Seagram's Escapes Passionfruit Mango

 At 3.2% alcohol Seagram's Escapes Passionfruit Mango is hardly alcoholic. It is also far more Passion Fruit than it is mango. This is not to say that this is a bad thing. Frankly, I think this would go down well at a party where you want to drink, but not get flat out drunk. 

All in all, this is a drink to keep you cool in the summer heat not get you stupid, and I'm okay with that. 

Hamburger Helper Double Cheeseburger Macaroni

 Exactly what makes this Hamburger Helper Double Cheeseburger Macaroni I don't know because, well, wouldn't all Mac N' Cheese with hamburger be the same thing? I mean, you make it with hamburger meat and so it becomes cheeseburger. 

Anyway, if you fail to add vegetables then this is a bad idea that will give you a hard time on the toilet. If you do eat it with vegetables it is delicious and makes the vegetables just as delicious. 

Okay, I'm just saying that, because I need to eat more vegetables. Being fat stinks. Then, eating this without vegetables means I use up too much toilet paper. 

Melba's Fixins Key Lime Pie Soda

 Melba's Fixins Key Lime Pie Soda is the closest I have ever come to drinking a pie. It tastes just like key lime pie and good key lime pie at that. Not key lime pie that has been left around too long and gone sour. 

This real sugar soda is the best of Mable's Fixins I've had ... I haven't had them all yet. I have a few more to go, but so far this is the best one. 

If you like key lime pie you need to try this stuff because it's epic. Or I'm just a fat dude who likes soda too much. One of the two.

California Olive Ranch Baking Blend Extra Virgin Sweet Vanilla Olive Oil

 California Olive Ranch Baking Blend Extra Virgin Sweet Vanilla Olive Oil I just look at and say, well. I mean, what do you really do with this stuff? I tried it on ice cream and found that it wasn't a fit so I drank a shot glass of it, and found that it was a bit sweeter than normal olive oil but wasn't very vanilla. 

I guess this is slightly more suited for baking than normal olive oil, but I'm not sure I would notice the difference. Odd stuff really.

Fast Bites BBQ Chicken Sandwich

The BBQ Chicken Sandwich by Fast Bites will not satisfy. They are small and not meant to be a full meal. I will admit that I refuse to see how bad these probably are for me but I love having them around to toss in my lunch bag. They are good little chicken sandwiches.

Let's just hope they don't go running around saying the sky is falling, because that would mean they went bad.  Chicken hallucinations are never a good thing.

Seagram's Escapes Wild Berries is another in the almost alcoholic Escapes line. It tastes good but isn't going to get you very drunk. On a hot day this will be good enough to hit the spot but when it's cold, like that happens often in California, this just isn't that great.
 

Forager Organic Whipped Cream Alternative

I Don't understand Forager Organic Whipped Cream Alternative. It's not something you would put on pie or ice cream because it's not sweet. Is there something you do with whipped cream other than have it with sweet food? I would guess it was dairy if I did not know it was vegan, but it just is kind of there. I wouldn't buy this again but I almost never by whipped cream.

Conqueror Virtual Challenges Inca Trail

 The Conqueror Virtual Challenge's Inca Trail is a 26 mile walk that will give you this on completion. This is a solid thing with no gimmick to make it cool. It's just a mettle you get after paying for it and doing the work. 

I also chose to have five trees planted. You can choose to keep some plastic bottle out of the ocean, but I went with the trees. I do other things to keep trash out of the ocean. 

Anyway, This is a fun thing to have and a good way to motivate yourself to walk twenty six miles. 

Columbus Seasoned Turkey Burgers

Columbus Seasoned Turkey Burgers are a sum what dry addition to any bbq. I've been to a few dry bbqs in my day and they are no fun at all. No one gets naked and jumps in the pool. This is even more fun when there is no pool. 

Anyway, if you are serving these turkey burgers make sure you have lots of drinks and condiments to keep things flowing. Also remember that you should remember to invite people who will get naked and jump in the pool.

 Kirkland Signature Hard Seltzer Mango is just as bad as all the other flavors. The stuff just tastes like whatever it was got watered down and made to taste like crap.
