Progresso Toppers Chicken Tortilla Soup with Tortilla Strips

 Progresso Toppers Chicken Tortilla Soup with Tortilla Strips is one of the nicer things you can put in your lunch bag. It's microwave ready and if it came with a spoon you would be all set. It does not come with a spoon, but you can drink it out of the cup. Just be sure to wait the minute the pack says to let it cool down. 

I have to say this stuff is good. I mean, not filling but good enough to make me want to put it in my lunch and look forward to eating it. I never did care much for these things but this one really stand above. 

It has a great crunch and a hint of spice. Good stuff.

Pringles Sour Cream and Onion

Pringles Sour Cream and Onion could use just a bit more sour cream flavor. I mean the onion was strong enough, but the sour cream was lacking. This coming from a fat man who normally eats the original flavor. 

Even still, if I didn't know the sour cream was a part of the equation I would have never guessed. The name should be the flavor and the flavor should reflect the name.

However, these are still rather good chips and I ate them all. I am so fat. 

 

Hot Pockets Deli Wich Cheese Melt

 The Deli Wich line from Hot Pockets turned a few heads. Who ever heard of a hot pocket that you don't serve hot? Well, there Cheese Melt can be had without melting, and I do say they hit the spot. 

Yeah, I guess this is one of those, well it doesn't fit the name situations, but it makes up for it in being deliciously bad for you.  

I'll grant you these are unoffensive enough to be a little bland but they have all the things you should be getting out of your freezer.  They also don't get all over the place like an over hot pocket. 

I give these a thumbs up.

Curly's Sauceless Pulled Pork

 Curly's Sauceless Pulled Pork is not the greatest pulled pork you will ever see. I have to admit that I have never really been a fan of pulled pork so I don't know the product. 

I noted that it had an overwhelming number of one star reviews online saying it was all fat. As for me, I fried it to a crisp and thought it was just fine. Maybe I'm a better cook than most people. 

I wouldn't say this deserves the hate leveled on it by the internet, what does really, but I would say it is what you would expect for meat that comes in plastic wear.  I had low expectations and made really great tacos.

Mude Chill

 Only in the pounding heat of a California summer would I drink Mude Chill. It has a fruity flavor but it's bitter and foul. I wouldn't drink this stuff but sitting down to drink it would take the wind out of anyone. Stuff is nasty.

3D Liberty Pop Energy Drink

 If drinking a melted Liberty Pop is your bag then 3D Liberty Pop Energy Drink is your dream come true. I haven't had a Liberty Pop in years but this really took me back to my youth. The nightmares persist. I had a bad childhood. 

I wouldn't say this is a bad flavor.  It accomplished what it is going for, but I have to admit I would never have wanted a drink like this. However, it did give me energy. 

Kraft Original Flavor Whole Grain Macaroni & Cheese Dinner

 Kraft Original Flavor Whole Grain Macaroni & Cheese Dinner is as good if not better than the normal Mac & Cheese. I found this to be creamy and cheesy. It was all I would want in my Mac & Cheese.

The original should really go out of style with this hanging around. 

Truly Poolside hard seltzer Kiwi Mojito

Truly Poolside hard seltzer Kiwi Mojito tastes oddly like the water that they keep flowers in at the florist. The level of insane nasty is truly painful to drink and I would almost need to be sick with thirst to want to drink this crap.

 I have never had a Mojito, but I'm sure they can't taste like this. Why they would make this I don't know but I would keep clear of it. 
 

 

Limited Edition Pop Tarts Lemon Groove Pink Lemonade Flavor

Pop Tarts Lemon Groove Pink Lemonade remind me of the summer and the surf. Why they would do that I don't know because I never drank Pink Lemonade at the beach and I don't smoke pot. 

They taste okay, definitely some lemon flavor in there but, well, I don't think this is the best combination. The poorly printed graphics don't help.  

I'll be happy to pass these along to the homeless and they happy to eat them, but I won't miss them when they're gone. 

Izze Sparkling Lemonade Blackberry

Izze Sparkling Lemonade Blackberry is the tree hugger version of soda. It may taste a bit better if you squeezed a tree hugger really hard and made juice. I can say this is a complex flavor with a bitter finish, no added sugar, and a smooth run. 

Given that this is 'I am better than you' soda I guess it's for people who don't drink coke. I would imagine they snort it, but that's not the same thing. I'm told enough pot will make anything taste good.

Anyway, hippy juice if you like that sort of thing. Me, I wouldn't get this again. 
 

Truly Strawberry Melon Fizz Hard Seltzer

 With all the hate I have leveled on hard seltzer you would think I would stop drinking it but it keeps going on sale and I just keep buying. Truly Strawberry Melon Fizz Hard Seltzer is not that bad. 

I know this is a low bar, but this stuff is smooth enough and unoffensive. I still can't drink them fast enough to get drunk, but I never was one to get drunk. 

The melon is hard to taste and the strawberry is almost not there at all but this isn't bad. I would call this a hot day drink flavor wise. I mean, I wouldn't really drink it for the taste but if you're keeping the buzz going this will work.

Wiley Wallaby Hot Cinnamon

 Wiley Wallaby Hot Cinnamon is like eating a chewy Red Hot. I can't understand why anyone would eat this but if hot cinnamon is your bag then this is a dream come true. 

For what it is this is very good. 

Minute Maid Super Juice Drink Fruit Punch

 Minute Maid Super Juice Drink Fruit Punch isn't what I expected it to be. I thought it would be more pink. I will admit this is some odd stuff and I like to use it to make smoothies. I thought it was some kind of smoothie when I looked at the box.

This stuff is fine so long as you can take the sugar water aspect of it which I can't because I'm a diabetic. I make up for this by adding fruit and mixing it in the blender. 

All and all, not life changing.

Oreo Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Cookies

Oreo Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Cookies are okay. I mean, chocolate peanut butter pie sounds way better but these cookies are okay. I guess they are some of the better Oreo Cookies I've had, but that isn't a high bar. I think these are okay, but I wouldn't go looking for more.
 

Go Raw Salad Toppers Italian Herb

 Go Raw Salad Toppers Italian Herb has enough herb in it so that one should not eat these by the handful. It really needs that salad to balance out all that herb. There is a lot of herb.

I keep getting these salad toppers because I keep telling myself I'll eat more salad. The scale in my kitchen tells me that I have been failing to do this. 

I should keep my scale in another room. 

Anyway, this is a good alternative to dressing even as I'm not a fan of dressing.

Shasta California Dreamin Orange Creme Soda

 Shasta California Dreamin Orange Creme Soda is about as good as orange cream soda is going to get. I honestly think this stands up to almost any orange cream soda I've had and I have to admit that both cream and oranges are things we grow in California so until they make avocado soda this is a California as you can get.  

Good stuff really.

Sprite Lymonade Legacy

 Sprite Lymonade Legacy has been popping up at my local market over the last few weeks, and I have to say I'm not impressed. It has all the sugar of sprite without as much of the refreshing. 

I wouldn't say it's all that lemony anyway, but I guess it's okay. I would never get more of it but it is drinkable.

Simple Mills Cracked Black Pepper Almond Flour Crackers

Cracked Black Pepper Almond Flour Crackers by Simple Mills have a robust flavor and a defined heat that only crack pepper can provide. These little crackers are great on their own but compliment many an offering without being overpowered. 

I really like these and kept eating them by the handful long after this picture was taken. These are some great crackers. I would buy them again.  
 

Burger King's Bacon and Swiss BK Royal Crispy Chicken

 Burger King's Bacon and Swiss BK Royal Crispy Chicken is just a little too salty for me. I mean, it's okay, not all that interesting really, but okay. I had this with a friend and we both thought the salt was a bit too much. Otherwise it was fine.

Polar Seltzer Raspberry Pink Lemonade

 Lemonade is lemon and sugar, pink lemonade is lemon sugar and grenadine, raspberry pink lemonade is, well, you get the idea. Polar Seltzer Raspberry Pink Lemonade is a lie in a can that shouldn't exist. There should never be anything called lemonade seltzer, because it should just be lemon. It is also, as you can see, not pink.

There isn't much flavor to this, which is what seltzer should be, but that name is so dumb I can't figure why they would come up with it. Was it to make children drink this? 

Anyway, stuff is okay, just don't go expecting it to be what it's called. It lies to you so hard. 

Colonna Roasted Garlic Sauce

Colonna Roasted Garlic Sauce is a smooth modern sauce that could use more garlic and has soybean oil in it. I mean, there's nothing wrong with that but it's not very Italian. 

I would classify this a serviceable and unoffensive. If you have people who don't like big chunks of tomato then this is a great thing to have around. It's on the thin side which is not necessarily a bad thing. 

Frankly, flavor wise I'd have to add something to this to make it a bit more there. Otherwise, it does the job but nothing more.
 

Surge Soda

Back in the 90's I remember Surge soda which wasn't very good but we would get it for the cool name. I always wanted to try Jolt but never got to do so. I found this at burger king and it tastes nothing like the Surge of my high school years. 

The Surge of my high school years tasted like spit so I will admit this is an improvement. I wouldn't call it great but if you want to drink green slime this stuff is for you. 

 
 

Turkey Creek Snacks Cheddar Bomb

 This is my first time having Turkey Creek Snacks but their Cheddar Bomb does live up to the name. I would say these have a very strong cheese flavor. Chester better look out because these are way cheesier.

They haven't impressed my cat but nothing ever does. 

Chocolove Toffee & Almonds in Milk Chocolate

 Chocolove Toffee & Almonds in Milk Chocolate is some of that elevated chocolate that's not as rich as Hershey's, but has a more complex flavor. You pay more for these and that's fine because I shouldn't be eating them in the first place. 

You more buy these for conservation reasons than you do for the love of junk food. They are Rainforest Alliance after all. You are guaranteed that this chocolate supports a better future. I do prefer my chocolate to be cruelty free and good for the environment. 

I don't need chocolate, I shouldn't buy chocolate, but this is good person chocolate.

Candy Pop Snickers Popcorn

Candy Pop Snickers Popcorn is not Snickers flavored. Snickers is more than chocolate, and all I tasted was chocolate. Before I became a diabetic I would eat almost anything Snickers. It was a practice I left behind around the three hundred pound mark, but I still love that candy bar.  

This is a sad shadow of a Snickers bar and it is unworthy of the name.

Zoa Energy Wild Orange

 My understanding is that the orange is a domesticated crop bread from some other fruit. By definition there is no truly wild breed. Zoa Wild Orange isn't that wild but it isn't all that orange. It is orange enough to keep the name and the best thing I've had from Zoa.

This has a tang to it and is very refreshing. I would have to say that I don't notice the Zero Sugar part and I really like this flavor. I would buy this again if it were not for the fact that I need to find new things to review for you. 

Zapp's Potato Chips Voodoo Heat New Orleans Kettle Style

 Zapp's Potato Chips Voodoo Heat New Orleans Kettle Style do have a little voodoo in them. You don't think much of the heat until it clears your nostrils and the boogers come rolling down. 

I had to wipe my face the first time I ate these and I have to admit they are something. I normally don't buy hot spicy things but these are worth trying. I don't know if I'll get these again but I sure am glad I tried them. 

Uncle Ben's Ready Rice Original

 In our modern world the kindly face of Uncle Ben is offensive. Some how I think all the hungry children would still crack a smile if a few boxes of his "Ready Rice Original" showed up at their door. 

However you feel about the face the rice is unoffensive, bland, but unoffensive. That is kind of the point of rice. Add to it what you want and it will take the flavor but on it's own it is just rice.

Bang Energy Drink Root Beer Blaze

I have always kept clear of Bang Energy Drinks and there Root Beer Blaze flavor makes me wish I had kept up with that. If you could take this in one swig it would be fine but the aftertaste is so bad I had to mix this with something else to finish the last of the three I got to try them. 

It was gross really and I needed the kick to keep working. I went right back to sleep and am finishing this review the next day, but that's not the point. 

The point is that this stuff is nasty and you should not drink it.
 

Sheboygan Sausage Company Beer Bratwurst

Sheboygan sounds like a He-Man knock off you get at a discount store. In truth, it is both as city and a county in Wisconsin. Sheboygan Sausage Company Beer Bratwurst are made in that city and they didn't have much of a beer flavor but rather were very salty.
 

I must admit that they cooked fast and I needed to add a bit of oil to really get them going. These sausage are best for adding to things sliced and not whole. Their salt content will overpower most food but do well to season vegetables.   

The truth is that they need to be balanced out and a few good beers will do. Great sausage for making gumbo.
