Dr. Pepper Soda Blackberry

I’m not a big Dr. Pepper fan because of the high sugar content, but they have a new flavor so here we are. Dr. Pepper Blackberry is berry flavored all right. I wouldn’t say it’s an improvement but then Dr. Pepper is a classic. Maybe it’s the good parts of my childhood that I’m tasting.

Anyway, Dr. Pepper Blackberry has a robust flavor that will lend itself well to most alcohols but I don’t think it will work with tequila. I mean, try it if you like but I think the flavors will clash. It’s a fine change of pace to a classic if the classic is your go to.

 

Vive Organic Sparkling Immunity Blackberry Elderberry Drink

 A crazy man handed me a few cans of this Vive Organic Sparkling Immunity Blackberry Elderberry Drink. It is indeed very berry in flavor. It's berry-ness reminds me of red wine or at least grape juice.

This will never be as good as a soda to me, not a normal soda anyway, but it may help with a hangover more. The fellow who gave them to me knows hangovers well but I think he found this stuff rather than paid for it. 

Well, I drank it and I'm not dead. Buy yours from the store and don't risk death. 

White Claw Refresher Lemonade Blackberry

 Come on, White Claw, you can do better than this. This Refresher Lemonade Blackberry is the worst thing I've tried from White Claw and it's just as bad as most hard seltzer I've had. It has a berry flavor to it for sure, but it tastes of cheap booze.

This feels like it would give me one bad hangover after another. Really a step down from most White Claw I've had.

Izze Sparkling Lemonade Blackberry

Izze Sparkling Lemonade Blackberry is the tree hugger version of soda. It may taste a bit better if you squeezed a tree hugger really hard and made juice. I can say this is a complex flavor with a bitter finish, no added sugar, and a smooth run. 

Given that this is 'I am better than you' soda I guess it's for people who don't drink coke. I would imagine they snort it, but that's not the same thing. I'm told enough pot will make anything taste good.

Anyway, hippy juice if you like that sort of thing. Me, I wouldn't get this again. 
 

New Wave Blackberry Soda

 New Wave Blackberry Soda is hippy bug juice. I can't figure why a normal person would drink this but the low sugar makes it so bug juice that the only way to drink a whole can would be to add something that tastes better. 

I will grant this is better for you than normal soda because of the low sugar content. Too bad it tastes like crap.

Canada Dry Blackberry Ginger Ale

 Canada Dry is for sick people and drinking. Their Blackberry Ginger Ale is a sipping tart flavor that is best fit for the cooler weather. I will also point out that you need a lot of ice or to have chilled this to make it cold. I'm sipping one right now and every deep drink brings up the warmer liquid. 

This has a flavor that can drowned out the cheap booze but that is not a reason to drink cheap booze.

Bubly Sparkling Water Blackberry Bubly

Bubly Sparkling Water Blackberry Bubly really tastes like chemically fertilized blackberries. I don't know why you would even want to flavor water like this, but here it is, and it's okay. 

This is not the best sparkling water I've had this week, but it's far from the worst. 

Minta Blackberry

Minta Blackberry is a strange mix of mint and berry flavor that I can't say if I like or not. I mean, you should try this stuff just because it's so different from every other soda I've had. I mean, this stuff is just crazy.
