Wheat Thins Original Crackers

May the 4^th is Star Wars day and as I have no want for more Star Wars crap these Star Wars boxed Original Wheat Thins will have to do. I mean, what do you even do with Wheat Thins?

As a kid I just ate them out of the box. I was a dumb kid with no supervision so I didn’t know that crackers needed stuff on them.

I went through two boxes of these before finally saving them for a review. I love Wheat Thins and they are delicious. Then I had them with salami and cheddar and they were even better. I mean, Wheat Thins have a burst of salt that you can taste that really bring out any other flavor. I can’t get enough so I shouldn’t buy any more.

 

Jarritos Passion Fruit soda

In all fairness the Jarritos Passion Fruit soda I had was kind of old and should have been drank long before I opened the bottle. I have to say it tasted natural. Now days we add so much sugar to things that you kind of expect them to be like candy but this was like fruit. It tastes as I would imagine a wild passion fruit to taste.

Jarritos is a good quality soda, but this flavor may not appeal to Americans as it’s a little too true to form. I would even compare this to Japanese soda which is just not as sweet. I don’t know if I’d get it again but if real fruit was your jam this would be in your sandwich.

This tastes as if it would pear best with rum.

 

Hostess Old Fashioned Mini Donuts

Hostess Old Fashioned Mini Donuts are not as good as what you get at the average doughnut shop. They are good, don't get me wrong, but not the real thing. 

I wouldn't get them again because I am a big fat dude but if you don't have a weight problem they go well with coffee.
 

Juvee Rejuvenating Energy Drink Blue Raspberry

I had this Juvee Rejuvenating Energy Drink Blue Raspberry with vodka and it covered the vodka perfectly. I really felt like this was a refreshing drink. Were it not for the fact that this looks like window cleaner I would say it’s a great drink. I mean, just try not to think of window cleaner as you drink it and you’ll be fine.

Or, if you need to make people think that you’re drinking window cleaner then you’re in luck because this is the best window cleaner I‘ve ever had.

 

Kentucky Coffee Black Hard Cold Brew

Kentucky Coffee Black is a whiskey coffee cocktail that is mildly sweet. It is made with a bitter coffee so it would need a good amount of sugar to be sweet. This is one of the milder alcohols that would not get you drunk so much as keep you drunk or bring you back from that hangover.  

I feel like this is a fine thing to add to Irish Cream or take with a shot of Fireball, bit on it's own it lacks flavor. It's dark and bitter with a mildly coffee like flavor.  
 

The Habit French Fries

 I haven't been to The Habit in ten years and so I didn't remember what the French Fries were like. These are not as thick as stake fries and have more flavor than french fries normally has. I believe they are blanched so they have a crunch. They are a step above but so is most of what you get at the Habit. 

I haven't been to the Habit because I don't go out like I used to. Also why I haven't been to a lot of places. 

Do I miss the Habit? No, but I admit I would like to try more from their. 

Buon Appetito California Sweet Roll

Buon Appetito California Sweet Roll is a Seven Eleven find. I will say that these are miserable without coffee. They are dry and crumbly and not that sweet.

They are good for dipping in coffee if you don't mind tearing them up. It takes the liquid well, but it has little flavor on its own. 

I wouldn't get this again but I wouldn't turn them down if they were free. 
 

Signature Select Cranberry Orange Ginger Italian Soda

Signature Select Cranberry Orange Ginger Italian Soda sounds so much better than it is. I mean, this was an oddball product I found on the discount wrack and figured it was worth a try. I guess it's more of a Christmas thing but it's a disappointment like finding out that Santa isn't real. 

I still can't wrap my head around that one. I mean, who thought he was real? Did you think there really was an Easter Bunny? 

Anyway, this is cranberry soda. The orange and ginger are lost. In a soda like this you need a strong orange, with a touch of cranberry, and then add ginger to give it a gut settling effect. This stuff wasn't ginger at all and I didn't know it was orange until I read the label. 

I call this a fail.  
 

Bonkers Purr Pops Chicky Licks

My cats can’t get enough of these Chicky Licks Purr Pops but Bonkers. The swarm all over me when I open the  box but they will run off with the pop and ditch the stick somewhere where it will be found latter.

I admit these freeze dried things are like catnip for my fur babies but I saw their price on Amazon and had to ask if they could be worth that much. I got them on sale.

 

Smucker's Uncrustables Peanut Butter

These Smucker's Uncrustables Peanut  Butter were half off the sale price in my local freezer section. I can see why. Without jelly these thing aren't that great. 

They really need something to boost the flavor. I'll grant that may not have to be jelly but spice or something may just make them less bland and more palatable.  

Then, they stick to your mouth. If you haven't got something to drink with them they will clog up your pie hole. Overall, they aren't a fun eating experience. 

Add in the fact that if you  don't keep them frozen they dry out fast and are not a quick snack at home and you've got something only worth tossing in your lunch when you have no time to make food.  

I think you can make these at home and freeze them for less and get something better.  
 

Bon Appetit Lemon Cake

Bon Appetit Lemon Cake is okay. I can't say it has a strong lemon taste and most people who eat lemon cake want a strong lemon taste. 

However, this isn't as rich as other cakes of this line and the lemon flavor gives it a much better balance. 

I'd say this would go best with black coffee. I like it but I wouldn't make it a regular buy.
 

M&M'S Cherry Chocolate Cupcake

M&M'S Cherry Chocolate Cupcake are part of the Bakery Collection and as I've never had chocolate cherry cupcakes I guess these are kind of like them. 

My  biggest gripe is that these are like two hundred and ten calories for that little pack. I mean, is that as much as you normally get?  

Anyway, these are fine if you eat the M's on the regular but for those of us who only have them on the holidays these are not as good as the classic. 

I meh at you, M&M'S Cherry Chocolate Cupcake, I meh at you. 

The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal

The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal at McDonald's is a normal breakfast with new sauce. I'm kind of unimpressed. I mean, yeah, a sausage egg McMuffin could use a little more kick and this gives it more kick but adds some unwanted flavors as well. 

I'm all for LGBTQ+, but I don't want to eat things covered in dudes in pink. There is a dirtier joke in there. 

Anyway, these are okay. I wouldn't call them better than the normal version, but I would call them good enough to try.  
 

Alberstons Sugar Cookies

These Alberstons Sugar Cookies were on sale after St. Patrick's Day which could be why they are green. I don't know. 

Anyway, these are soft chewy cookies that have little in the way of flavor and would appeal best to kids. 

We coffee drinkers would find them flavorless and not something to dip in the coffee.  
 

The Habit Cucumber Limeade

I had to go to some partyesk thing and picking up lunch before hand led me to The Habit. It's been years. They had Cucumber Limeade which looked a good deal worse than it tastes but still tasted far too rich. 

I don't know what it is about cucumber in drinks but for me it needs to be fresh and it needs to be light. 

This stuff was just too sugary for me. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't as good as a good old soda.  
 

Scoops Ahoy Chocolate Pudding Ice Cream

This Scoops Ahoy Chocolate Pudding Ice Cream has been sitting in my freezer for too long but you know Ice Cream is like Pizza and Weed. Even when it's bad it's still good.

I was unimpressed as the texture was odd and it was kind of like rocky road without the nuts. 

I don't think they still make this stuff but maybe it will make a comeback with Stranger Things spin offs. I hope they make a better version if they do.

Pudding Ice Cream just sounds dumb to me but who am I?
 

7-Select Chocolate Snack Pies

 7-Select Chocolate Snack Pies may be harder to get soon with Seven Eleven shutting down some of its locations. That's no big loss because these are okay but I would just call them Okay.

I'll grant I would eat them by the dozen were I not so fat and disgusting, but then if you did that you'd be on the fast track to look like me anyway. 

Smucker's Uncrustables Peanut Butter & Raspberry

Smucker's Uncrustables Peanut Butter & Raspberry are what they sound like. That being a white bread sandwich made with raspberry and peanut butter. I feel like these should be thought of more like candy than normal meal food but then I don't think anyone is calling these healthy. 

As far as eating these, past them getting stuck to the top of my mouth they were good. I liked them, but I have to admit these are bad for me.
