Shirakiku Ramune Japanese Soda Melon

 Shirakiku Ramune Japanese Soda Melon arrived at my local Grocery Outlet and I was keen to try it as I like melon flavored things. You don't see too many of those in American food, it's all watermelon here, and so I saw this and wanted some. 

This has a subdued flavor that fits with the marble inside that keeps you from drinking too fast. Opening these also takes some doing but I got it done. 

I wouldn't say this would become a common drink in my kitchen because it's hard to find and the flavor isn't all that strong. Still, I love the color and it tastes good enough.

Truly Strawberry Melon Fizz Hard Seltzer

 With all the hate I have leveled on hard seltzer you would think I would stop drinking it but it keeps going on sale and I just keep buying. Truly Strawberry Melon Fizz Hard Seltzer is not that bad. 

I know this is a low bar, but this stuff is smooth enough and unoffensive. I still can't drink them fast enough to get drunk, but I never was one to get drunk. 

The melon is hard to taste and the strawberry is almost not there at all but this isn't bad. I would call this a hot day drink flavor wise. I mean, I wouldn't really drink it for the taste but if you're keeping the buzz going this will work.

Soleil Sparkling Water Cucumber Melon

I live in Southern California and hydration is a big thing for us. I drink a good amount of canned water. When I saw Soleil Sparkling Water Cucumber Melon I grabbed a box because I wanted something to review but I also wanted something to keep me from dropping dead from the heat. 

As water goes I would recommend drinking no more than one can of this a day because you get used to the more subtle flavors. This is not to say that the water is bad but rather that it is complex and worth taking time to drink. I wouldn't say the flavor is strong, but it is there and it is soothing.  

This is good water. Not the best I've had but still very good. 

Honey Kiss Melon

 

Honey Kiss Melon or sugar kiss melon as it is sometimes called is mostly a funny shaped cantaloupe. I'm sure if your into melons you can pick out every thing that is different about this melon, but the truth is that you can get more cottage cheese in that thing.

How do I feel about these melons? I love them. Wish I had a family to share them with.  

Also, I wouldn't mind a girl saying "kiss melon" to me every now and then.

Ok Fruit Melon Cantaloupe

Ok Fruit Melon Cantaloupe is not unlike drinking a Cantaloupe. It's really close to the real thing from a flavor standpoint. Have this with your better spirits because cheap vodka will screw up the flavor.

Milky Way Melon

The Milky Way Melon is a thing I found at my local farmers Market. I find them sweet with a creamy flavor that is almost worth the high price. I can't say these are knockouts but they are a cut above other melons.
