 On The Border Cafe Style Halloween Tortilla Chips were sitting about after the holiday last year and as the sales had slim pickings I picked up two bags. They are just about the same as any tortilla chips.

If you want to give you're party some more of a Halloween feel these have a look that fits and a taste that is familiar.  

Solid, I liked them, and they got eaten fast. 

Mission Yellow Corn Rounds Tortilla Chips

Mission Yellow Corn Rounds Tortilla Chips are better for scoping things up. I mean, they don't brake when I put them in chili. These are a step up from the strip chips which are always braking. 

If you love bean dip these are your jam. Now that I think of it, bean dip and jam sounds nasty. 
 

Doritos Minis Tortilla Chips Cool Ranch

 Doritos Minis Tortilla Chips sound like a great idea. You can ship more of them. They are easy to store and shelve. You can reseal the pack easily. The Cool Ranch flavor is just like the larger chip. 

The only problem is that they are small and more like the chips left at the bottom of the bag than the normal Doritos you get. I guess stacking the chips would have been to hard but this is just like you took a bag and crunched it up to fit in a Pringles box. 

That's not my thing, but you do you.

Takis Rolled Blue Heat Tortilla Chips

 Takis Rolled Blue Heat Tortilla Chips do not bring the heat. They do taste like lime and the more you eat them the more heat you feel. I'm not big on these and they're not that impressive. 

I guess they look cool, but looking cool is not important if the food just doesn't taste that great. 

Organic Que Pasa Tortilla Chips Sea Salt

 Organic Que Pasa Tortilla Chips are ground with volcanic stone and seasoned with Sea Salt. I have to admit these are thin and crisp chip that hold what you put on them just fine. They are thinner and crisper than most tortilla chips.

I couldn't tell you if that is a good thing, but I sure will buy these again.

Paqui Mucho Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips

 Paqui Mucho Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips are discount Doritos. Well, it's about time that they had competition and I have to say, well, okay, I shouldn't have Doritos and I shouldn't have this, because I'm a big fat dude and they are not good for me. 

These are not as good as Doritos, but they are not bad.

Hippeas Organic Chickpea Sea Salt & Lime Tortilla Chips

 The earthy flavor of Hippeas Organic Chickpea Sea Salt & Lime Tortilla Chips can be off putting, and some chips have way too much salt over others. Then, how much do you think about tortilla chips. 

These are better for you than most chips if not all that great. I mean, if you're a dip person then the dip will really define these, but if you eat them as is they're okay but not great. 

Garden of Eatin' Multi Grain Sea Salt Tortilla Chips

Garden of Eatin' Multi Grain Sea Salt Tortilla Chips are okay. What can you say about a Tortilla Chip anyway? Yeah, if I had normal chips or these I would take these because they have more texture and fiber, but I don't know if I could make the distinction blindfolded.

Lady Liberty Tortilla Chips Jalapeno & Cheese

Lady Liberty Tortilla Chips Jalapeno & Cheese struck me as something I wouldn't want to eat. Now after having a bag or two I wish I had gotten more of them. They're a little like Doritos only with just the right amount of kick for a white dude who is not to big on peppers.

Taco Bell Classic Tortilla Chips

Now that's classic. Taking Taco Bell home to tell the world you love weed so much that you think Taco Bell is good food. These chips are thick salty and otherwise there so you can scoop stuff up with them. Are they good? No, and unless you find them on sale they really aren't worth getting. 

Mother's Farms Pumpkin Seed Tortilla Chips

Mother's Farms Pumpkin Seed Tortilla Chips are heartier than normal tortilla chips but come with a flavor that may not be as neutral as other brands. 

I had one bag and disliked them and a second bag and thought they were okay. 

I mean, meh, tortilla chips.

Doritos Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips

Smelling vaguely of gym socks and leaving your hands covered with what looks like radioactive bee pollen Doritos have been a staple of the slacker diet since 1964. They started off as a way to use old tortillas at a restaurant in Disneyland, of all places, and from there were contracted to Frito-Lay.

Fewer calories and fat than Lays Classic Potatochips but sporting more salt and no potassium Doritos are another way to kill yourself with snack food.

As both get gack all over your hands I have to give the win to Lays Classic Potato chips.
