BJ's Cookie and Cream Pizookie

BJ's 'Cookie and Cream Pizookie' is as good as any other Pizookie but unless you like chocolate cookies it's just not as good as the one with caramel. 

BJ's Meat Lovers Piadina

BJ's 'Meat Lovers Piadina' should be Lover's shouldn't it? I mean this way it looks like it's made of meat lovers. Anyway, a Piadina is a roasted burrito, and I don't like them. This was cold in the middle and the meat was not pre-grilled making it bland. Also it was open at one end before being cut in half which makes it fall everywhere when you eat the thing. 

If you want a lunch that doesn't get on your shirt this is not for you. I would never order this again.  

BJ's Boneless Chicken Wings

BJ's 'Boneless Chicken Wings' have a dumb name given that chicken wings have bones by nature. I think these are made of white meat chicken and they are basically really good chicken nuggets. 

They come in a number of flavors and are good eating for a group. I will point out that two people could finish this easily, but I would think appetizers are for a group. 

BJ's Sparkling Cucumber Mint

BJ's 'Sparkling Cucumber Mint' is not infused water. It is a sweetened beverage with cucumber. Yes, you can eat the cucumber. I have to say I thought this was better than their soda but then some of those taste like they're made with dishwater so this is a plus over dishwater by far. 

This drink is BJ's Restaurant and Brew House trying to move in a new healthier direction. I approve. Great job.  

BJ's Restaurant Salted Caramel Pizookie

BJ's Restaurant Salted Caramel Pizookie is a baked cookie with white chocolate chips topped with melting vanilla ice cream sprinkled with dark chocolate chips and then drizzled with caramel. 

You just gained five pounds by reading this now go get a good workout in before you have this calorificly dense treat. 

BJ's Restaurant Crispy Portobello Strips

BJ's Restaurant 'Crispy Portobello Strips' is one of the newer items on the BJ's Menu and they are absolutely great! My only problem with these is that they're on the small bites list and so you get enough for only one person. 

These were a crispy delight, moist on the inside, and with just enough crunch. They come with tarter sauce, but these were just fine as they were.

BJ's Restaurant Ice Coffee

BJ's Restaurant Ice Coffee is unsweetened. It's a frothy drink served with no sugar added because the sugar is on the side. I have to admit this was something of a shock but if you're a coffee drinker and watching your weight then this lets you decide if you want real or fake sugar. 

I'm not sure what to think of this to be dead honest. 

BJ's Hand Crafted Orange Cream Soda

Tasting of dishwater BJ's Hand Crafted Orange Cream Soda is the worst thing I've had at this restaurant. I have to say that this just didn't stand up and I have to ask if there was some issue with making this thing. I mean I did have a second glass and that sucked as well. 

I'd stay away from this.

BJ's Mediterranean Pizza

BJ's Mediterranean Pizza has Grilled chicken, basil pesto, roasted garlic, Kalamata olives, sun‑dried and seasoned tomatoes, feta cheese and sliced peperoncinis. Pesto is the dominant flavor and the peperoncinis can be picked off without much trouble if they don't sit well with you.

This isn't the best Pizza I've had at BJ's but it's very good. 

BJ's Root Beer Glazed Ribs

BJ's Root Beer Glazed Ribs taste nothing like root beer. This is not to say that these are not good they simply are not root beer flavored. I can't say that these are high on my list because they are rather small and will not start a meal off properly. 

If you are drinking beer I think these work better than if you are drinking soda, and I drink soda because I don't want to drive home after drinking so if you are without a sober party member get these. 

BJ's Monkey Bread Pizookie

BJ's Monkey Bread Pizookie is kind of like a cinnamon roll with ice cream. I can't say this is the best Pizookie I've had but it stands to be a departure from the other chocolaty pizookies you can get so if you're a cinnamon fan this is just right for you. If you'd rather have chocolate get that. 

BJ's Hand Crafted Black Cherry Soda

BJ's Hand Crafted Black Cherry Soda is, well, it just kind of is. I didn't find it great, but it wasn't bad. I just have to say that it rather sat there being soda and not contributing much. Then again, what do you want out of soda?

BJ's Jeremiah Red Irish-Style Ale

BJ's Jeremiah Red Irish-Style Ale is a deep red beer with a slightly bitter Flavor fit for those who like to sip.

The smoothness comes from chocolate and the Bravo and Willamette hops are noted undertones.

Jeremiah Red is a complicated brew that will have three distinct taste levels. The first is mild and stinging, the second is where you find the bitterness, and the third is a longing aftertaste that stays in the mouth for some time.

I will say this is a heavy beer meant for winter or night time drinking rather than something one should have in the afternoon. 

Now, I have not tasted it fresh at BJ's because I don't drink and drive. I'm told the in store version is fresher. You tell me.

BJ's Pepperoni Extreme

The BJ's Pepperoni Extreme is one of the best pizzas I've had at BJ's. Pepperoni may be the same old thing on pizza but BJ's takes it to the next level. All they do is cut it to be honest but that gets points for doing something others haven't gotten to yet. I'd have this again.

Pizookie

I am going to review the general idea of a Pizookie at this point not recalling which one this is. The idea is you take a freshly baked cookie and then dump ice cream on top. 

Novel I know, but the truth is that it works. It's a mess and you shouldn't try it at home, but it works.

BJ's Baked Beignet

BJ's Baked Beignet was something. It wasn't a good something but it was a something. The strawberries were old, the bread was hard, and the whole thing tor itself down rather then be spooned away. I needed a knife to eat this dessert. 

Stick with the Pazookie.

BJ's Black and Bleu-House Burger

The BJ's Black and Bleu-House Burger, like most BJ's burgers, is something of a monster that devours clean shirts leaving the stained and greasy remnants on their owner's chest.

Is it a good burger, yes, but the tomato just get's mashed as you eat it and the burger will fall apart. Then again, maybe burgers aren't the thing to get at BJ's.

BJ's Hand Crafted Cream Soda

Let me first say that I'm not big on cream soda. That said 'BJ's Hand Crafted Cream Soda' didn't have the strength of flavor it needed to make it memorable.

That is not to say that this was bad only that it was very whelming. I would not order this again but if I liked cream soda I may like this one. 

Still, I would stick to IBC and get myself a beer. Only I don't drink and drive so no beer for me at BJ's.

BJ's Hand Crafted Root Beer

This was really good root beer. Not totally killer but really good.

BJ's Hickory Brisket and Bacon Burger

Now, BJ's Hickory Brisket and Bacon Burger is oily. I had to let it drip on the pan for a wile before I ate it and even then had to take half of it home.

This burger is a big mess of meat that will make you feel like you had the whole hog. Eat accordingly.
