Bubly Sparkling Water Pineapple

In the heat of the summer reaching for some Bubly Sparkling Water Pineapple just may cool you off. It cools me off, and I almost never eat pineapple. 

What, you expected me to eat something good for me? Have you seen me? I'm the blob. 

Anyway, with this water you get just a bit of that burn in the back of your throat but not much. Frankly, I like it. I would get it again.
 

Melinda’s Whole Fruit Preserves Pineapple

 Melinda’s Whole Fruit Preserves Pineapple is thick and sugary without the bite that pineapple can have. I would say that this should have a bit stronger of a flavor given the whole fruit in the name, but that's just me. 

All and all, this isn't bad but it just isn't my kind of thing. 

They say that when you eat pineapple the pineapple eats you back. Not in this case I'm sure. This is sissy food that won't even try to kill you. Makes me want to go eat a bear or something to make up for it.

Good Culture Cottage Cheese Pineapple

 Good Culture Cottage Cheese Pineapple is a grab and go for folks who want something to drop in their lunch bag. I can't say the combination sits well with me, but then fruit and Cottage Cheese never did it for me.

Give me a good old melon for my cottage cheese thank you.

Taco Bell Pineapple Whip Freeze

The Taco Bell Pineapple Whip Freeze wasn't very well whipped so it separated making it sweeter to start out with and bland at the end. They made it less than great, but fine for keeping my monster colder longer. 

Yeah, I drank about half this before dropping it into my water bottle for the night. I didn't get to try it with vodka but then unless you whip that in it just wouldn't work. 

These are fine, not great, but on a hot day they must kick real tail. 

Ocean Spray 100% Pineapple Juice

Ocean Spray 100% Pineapple Juice is the kind of tart thing one would want to put in a cocktail. I have to say this stuff is nice to have around. That single serving can makes it great to add vodka to. 

All in all, I would say you should try these and see how you like them because they are a great addition to your bar.  I didn't try them with whisky, because I'm out of whisky but then I think they would go better with rum anyway.

Pineapple

Pineapple, I've never been a big fan of it because it keeps showing up on my pizza, and I don't like it on my pizza. Never the less they were giving a few away after a food and wine festival and so I took them home. 

Now this was a bit old, but still was an interesting thing to try. Next time I'm going to freeze it and add coconut rum because it was a little on the bland side. 

There you have it, pineapple is bad on pizza and good with rum.

Cactus Cooler

Cactus Cooler is a thing from my youth, and a soda that has a fun name. Everything about this stuff tells me that it's made of the heart of summer and the time of fun. 

Why am I drinking this now again. Well, I miss summer.

Crush Pineapple

When I saw there were only two bottles of Crush Pineapple left at the store I had to buy them and I'm disappointed. It really isn't tart enough to make this a worthy pineapple drink. 

I will grant this works fine with a little old crow, but I wouldn't drink it with the good stuff. 

Rip It Energy Fuel 'Power'

Rip It Energy Fuel 'Power' is a pineapple flavored energy drink that goes great with vodka. I mean, drink responsibly, kids, getting dead will end your drinking forever. Still, one of these shouldn't kill you, and they have a great flavor to get the party going.

Just remember that energy drinks and alcohol can be dangerous. Drink in moderation!

Rockstar Pina Colada

A shot of vodka does wonders for this Rockstar Pina Colada which can use more colada if you ask me. You did ask me! This is my blog remember. 

Anyway, I don't normally drink Rockstar because you have more of a crash then with Monster. Then, it's my night off, as in I just got home from work and have to be back at eleven tomorrow night, so I can crash just a bit. 

One thing about these is that they don't get properly cold with ice. At least not as fast as other beverages. I think it's all that sugar. 

What am I saying here? Well, I'm not sure, I'm just a little drunk. Drink responsibly, chill this before serving, and no it's not as good as the real thing. 

Fanta Pineapple

I got this Fanta Pineapple because I wanted something to drink with my red wine. I don't like red wine. Anyway, this soda is on the rich side so don't think you can drink it all day without feeling like you need to brush your teeth. The flavor is underwhelming but okay.  

V8 +Energy Sparkling Orange Pineapple

V8 +Energy Sparkling Orange Pineapple is that thing you get for your girlfriend when she wants to party all night but she's a health nut so no RedBull and Vodka. Stuff is just crying for some vodka to make it good. 

The big thing about these is that they are way smaller than most energy drinks and don't have the kick of one of their larger brothers. If you can't handle energy drinks but you need a boost these are you're jam. As for me, I think I need four of these things to keep me going. 

They taste okay but fail to hide the fact that they are V8.

AMP Energy Pineapple Coconut

With a name like 'AMP' you'd figure this stuff would be for the hard core energy addict, but it's very mild in kick. Light on the sugar this stuff doesn't give you that feeling in your mouth of nasty after drinking too much of it. 

As for the flavor, well, it's on the mild side, but still nice and fruity. I really don't notice the coconut.

AMP is okay and I'll buy more if I find it at the right price, but it's not replacing my old go to for energy drinks.

Alpha Wolf Passionfuit Pineapple

My Alpha Wolf Passionfuit Pineapple is passed it's best by date which should explain the urinal air like smell and flavor of this drink. On the up side I have never tasted a drink that so perfectly describes the feeling of standing in an old gas station restroom.

Claim Jumper CJ Punch

Claim Jumper's CJ Punch is a mix of fruit like pineapple, orange, and cranberry. This is a mix that gives you a tart beverage with a strong flavor.

I will have to say that this was good, but a little to rich for me. I'm glad I had water with this so that I could cleanse my pallet. 

Was this great? No, but it was rather good. I would not order it again because the stuff puckered my lips. 

  

Omega Burger Pineapple Shake

Omega Burger's 'Pineapple Shake' is a classic thick vanilla shake with pineapple juice mixed in. When I say thick I mean that you can't get it up the straw for a good five minutes until it melts some. 

The flavor of pineapple wasn't very strong but it was there. I think this was enough of a novelty to be worth trying. It stands out because it's just so different. 

Ace Pineapple Hard Cider

Good job, Ace, putting your hard cider in a dark bottle so that the light doesn't screw it up. Now could you make it taste like Pineapple so that there is some point on calling it Ace Pineapple Hard Cider?

Truth be told this stuff is okay. I would say it is something between cider and beer but doesn't have much of a vibe. As mentioned it didn't taste much like pineapple.

Interestingly, this did have nutritional facts and so it is one hundred and seventy five calories for a 12 oz bottle. Five percent alcohol by volume it wasn't very thirst quenching nor did it hit me like anything other than a warm breeze.

I wouldn't go and get more of this but wouldn't turn it down if offered.
