Trader Joe’s Sweet And Savory Lightly Spiced Pumpkin Spread

Trader Joe’s Sweet And Savory Lightly Spiced Pumpkin Spread brings me to the thoughts of lazy days on a sunny far. I can picture that easily in my head as I spread this stuff on my biscuits and drink my tea.

I don't know why. I have never had these experiences. I have honestly never known lazy days where I wasn't stuck in bed from some malady.

In other words, this spread is some kind of a remnant of better times, or the perception of better times, because days were long on that far, and work was hard.

Trader Joe’s Roasted Plantain Chips

With more than four times the Potassium to Sodium, these chips are a great way to get electrolytes on the go when you can’t get your hands on real fruit. They are still calorically dense and will make you fat. Top that with the fact that you can’t stop eating them and they don’t sound so good.

I also put them on salads every now and then, and they can go okay with that as far as I can see. I’d try these if I were you, but I’m not you unless you’re me and if you are you’re too fat.

Trader Joe’s Marinated Mushrooms with Garlic

If I didn’t love mushrooms I wouldn’t eat these things. They have more than three times the salt to the Potassium and frankly are reasonably unhealthy. Calorically you can eat lots of them because they are only ten calories per two ounce serving.

I think I use less than two ounces in my salads because these little things have a strong flavor. They taste like vinegar and garlic, but then mushrooms really taste like almost nothing so what do you expect?

On the up side, if I’m eating these I’m eating salad which means I may trick myself into thinking I’m having something good for me. The lesson of the day kids is read the label and use moderate amounts.
