JJ's Bakery Coconut Cream Flavored Pie

 

I'm not brave enough to look at the ingredients to these JJ's Bakery Coconut Cream Flavored Pies but the word "flavored" is always a red flag. I don't really know what coconut cream should taste like because I never had it before, but these taste like, well, sugar. 

I can't say this was good or bad but it just kind of was. I guess these are not really a food item you think much about. They get crumbs on things and taste okay. 

I wouldn't buy this again but I wouldn't turn my nose up to a free one. 

McDonald's Cookies & Creme Pie

 The McDonald's Cookies & Creme Pie is a disappointing new offering from the golden arches. I mean, the thing was flavorless. I did have orange juice before eating this, but it still had no flavor. 

I wouldn't have known it was pie if I hadn't ordered pie.  

Give this a pass, it's not worth it. 

JJ's Bakery Birthday Cake Pie

 JJ's Bakery Birthday Cake Pie is a thing. I don't know when birthday cake became a flavor but it did and the flavor is meh. I think the whole thing is kind off odd, but the pie is okay. 

I'll grant that this is a frosting pie more than it is anything else but I guess this is something that bothers no one. I mean, they're not bad but not all that good.

I would not buy this again but I don't dislike them all that much.

Melba's Fixins Peaches & Cream Soda

 Melba's Fixins Peaches & Cream Soda could use a lot more peach to go with that cream. I mean, I never understood cream soda to start with but peach soda sounds like a thing we should make more of. Only thing is I don't taste a lot of peach here and that kind of makes this just a cream soda. More peach!

McDonald's McCafe Blueberry and Cream Pie

 The McDonald's McCafe Blueberry and Cream Pie is a blueberry jelly cheesecake pie. It has no blueberry purple to speak of ... it may well have no blueberry to be honest but its' fine. I wouldn't say rich or even all that great but fine. 

Fat disgusting slobs like me should give this a no but if you're not fat like me it's a fine addition to your meal. Unoffensive and mild, I can recommend this. 

Sara Lee Sweet Potato Pie

If you didn't know what you are eating you would be forgiven for thinking that Sara Lee Sweet Potato Pie was pumpkin. If you didn't read the box before buying you can be forgiven for shouting angrily at the top of your lungs after doing so. 

It takes about three hours to make one of these.  That would be an hour in the oven and two hours cooling which means if you like pie hot your out of luck. 

All and all, this was fine, bland, but fine. I wouldn't write home about these pies, but they taste okay. 

Millie's Restaurant & Bakery Round Slice Chocolate Cream Pie

Millie's Restaurant & Bakery Round Slice Chocolate Cream Pie is a sad dessert. The pudding was okay, but the shell was thick and hard. It would not cut with a knife and I couldn't eating most of the hard mess. 

I'm sure there are better things to get at Millie's so keep clear of this because it's just not worth the calories.
