Cora Bella Sweet Potato Gnocchi

 

Cora Bella Sweet Potato Gnocchi sat in my cabinet for way too long as did many pastas I wanted to try. I'm just not a big pasta nut...and my kitchen is always a mess, because some jerk won't clean up after himself. 

Anyway, if you wanted something new for dinner this will fit the bill. I have to say I like these, and I would get them again. They are odd enough to be interesting, but mild enough to offend no one. In addition they are likely to be better for you than their normal potato cousins. 

Still, read the label people. 

Sara Lee Sweet Potato Pie

If you didn't know what you are eating you would be forgiven for thinking that Sara Lee Sweet Potato Pie was pumpkin. If you didn't read the box before buying you can be forgiven for shouting angrily at the top of your lungs after doing so. 

It takes about three hours to make one of these.  That would be an hour in the oven and two hours cooling which means if you like pie hot your out of luck. 

All and all, this was fine, bland, but fine. I wouldn't write home about these pies, but they taste okay. 

Terra Real Vegetable Chips Sweet Potato Sea Salt

Terra Real Vegetable Chips Sweet Potato Sea Salt are the kind of thing you reach for when you want chips but want to be healthy. They have a great flavor, but for some reason they do not have the shape of chips but rather are all crinkled up.

I mean, if you want to dip these things in hummus they don't have enough edge. I mean, these are okay but they could be better. 

Garden of Eatin' Sweet Potato Corn Tortilla Chips

Garden of Eatin' Sweet Potato Corn Tortilla Chips have a burst of sweet as you bite in, and then crunch as a light chip afterwards. As a combination they work well but you have to be looking for sweet chips to want to eat them. I know the Sweet Potato can go both ways on this one but these chips really can't. I like these and they are just fine. I would eat them again. 

Fatburger Sweet Potato Fries

Fatburger Sweet Potato Fries are more savory than sweet and they go well with ketchup. In the world of  burger places these are different and that makes them worth trying. I'm not saying these will rock your world but they are good enough to have from time to time.
