Oscar Mayer Cotto Salami

Made of chicken, beef hearts, and pork this Oscar Mayer Cotto Salami is the kind of thing you probably shouldn't eat because it's so processed. It doesn't have the strong flavor of real salami but I will admit that I had no trouble finishing this lunch meat. 

I like the stuff but I have to admit that it's bad for me. 

Carl's Jr. Honney Mustured

Carl's Jr. Honey Mustered is all I would expect from honey mustered. It tastes like honey mustered and need something to make it more memorable.

I feel like honey mustered should have flavor.  
 

 

Trader Joe's Old Fashioned Egg Nog Liqueur

Trader Joe's Old Fashioned Egg Nog Liqueur is what one expects out of Trader Joe’s. They bring quality and this Hard Egg Nog is right there being a great alternative to other Irish Creams.

It could have more spice to it, but that’s hard Egg Nog for you. I never could find one as strong as I’d like it to be.

 

McDonald's MicRib 2025

 With its edible plastic bun topped with cornmeal and its meat like substance the McRib is back at McDonald's for the holidays, and I had the misfortune of trying one.

The meat was of higher quality last year. This year this thing tastes like it belongs in your freezer section and that bun made with plastic making it flimsy and soft just feels like garbage. 

The only good part about this sandwich was the sauce which they used a good deal of to cover the crappy food they served me.

Good & Gather Farfalle Pasta

  

Good & Gather Farfalle Pasta is as normal as pasta can be. I have no problem with that. I mean, how much should I even think of pasta when I eat it. It’s the starch of the meal and in the modern day I eat less and less of it as I get older.

This stuff will be fine on salad or with vegetables. As pasta goes you can buy this with confidence and know that it is indeed pasta that will be as pasta as pasta can be.

McDonald's Grinch Salt

I have never had anything from McDonald's as disgusting as Grinch Salt. Had I put Grinch dandruff on my fries it wouldn't have tasted as bad. It also makes the fries dry and harder to eat. 

The dill flavor is lost over the vinegar flavor and the whole thing just isn't as good as the fries on their own. 

This stuff is nasty. I'd keep clear of it if I were you.
 

Partake Soft Baked Chocolate Peppermint Cookies

Partake Soft Baked Chocolate Peppermint Cookies found their way to my local discount market and I picked up a box. Partake makes allergy free cookies and where as these are allergy free they are also flavor free.

Peppermint by definition has to have a strong flavor and I couldn't taste it in here. As cookies go these just don't taste like enough to be worth buying.
 

Jelly Belly Sparkling Water Birthday Cake

Jelly Belly Sparkling Water Birthday Cake is a lot better than it sounds. I don't know what birthday cake should taste like because I never knew it had it's own flavor but this tastes fine. 

I would get more if I found it at a good price. 
 

Raspberry Oranges

Raspberry Oranges have more red pigment than blood oranges or at least the ones I got did. They had little in the way of flavor but were on the old side so that could have been why.

They look cool, but that’s about as far as they go. I found them pulpy and without the tart of a normal orange. Still, I may get more.

 

Highline Wondrous White Mushrooms

Highline Wondrous White Mushrooms sound like something that should send you on a trip to naked woman land. I'm sorry, these are just mushrooms. They are fine enough mushrooms that have a better flavor when fresh and lose their luster fast in the cold.

I guess the best thing about these mushrooms is their smaller size makes them easier to work into a dish. Past that they are just normal mushrooms, and I would get them again if they were the best priced mushrooms in the produce section.

 

Virgil's Orange Cream Soda

 Virgil's Orange Cream Soda made its way to my local discount market in loose cans so I got a few, along with some other flavors, and forgot about them for at least six months until I found them again cleaning out my kitchen. I had seen it before but never tried it for myself.

 

Virgil’s is a smooth orange cream soda made of real sugar and with a little less pop than I would have expected. This stuff will work well with almost any alcohol, but I would think of it as a vodka mixer because it’s orange.

 

Good stuff, would buy again.
