Jarritos Passion Fruit soda

In all fairness the Jarritos Passion Fruit soda I had was kind of old and should have been drank long before I opened the bottle. I have to say it tasted natural. Now days we add so much sugar to things that you kind of expect them to be like candy but this was like fruit. It tastes as I would imagine a wild passion fruit to taste.

Jarritos is a good quality soda, but this flavor may not appeal to Americans as it’s a little too true to form. I would even compare this to Japanese soda which is just not as sweet. I don’t know if I’d get it again but if real fruit was your jam this would be in your sandwich.

This tastes as if it would pear best with rum.

 

Virgil's Orange Cream Soda

 Virgil's Orange Cream Soda made its way to my local discount market in loose cans so I got a few, along with some other flavors, and forgot about them for at least six months until I found them again cleaning out my kitchen. I had seen it before but never tried it for myself.

 

Virgil’s is a smooth orange cream soda made of real sugar and with a little less pop than I would have expected. This stuff will work well with almost any alcohol, but I would think of it as a vodka mixer because it’s orange.

 

Good stuff, would buy again.

Jarritos Soda Mandarin

Mandarin Soda by Jarritos has a bitter flavor compared to say a naval orange. I found it be acidic with a real fruit like flavor. It wasn’t just like drinking a mandarin and wasn’t made for us American sugar lovers.

I have to say this was into resting and it would go very well with vodka. I don’t know about tequila but I think it is robust enough for vodka or even whisky.

 

Jarritos Fruit Punch

Jarritos Fruit Punch is no Hawaiian Punch. It’s close, I can tell that it’s punch and I like punch but I see nothing that stands out about the brand. I think this is a solid and normal product and I would get it again.

Good stuff. Goes well with vodka.

 

Pepsi Soda Shop Real Sugar Soda

 

Pepsi’s Soda Shop has always been a finer Soda being made with real sugar and having a little more class. I still have to question the Real Sugar Soda Shop Pepsi as there is already a real sugar Pepsi out there.

Truth be told, I have never held them up side by side and tasted them to see if I could tell the difference, but I wouldn’t mind another case or two of this in my closet.

I drink too much soda, but the real sugar is better for my diabetes.

 

Stewart's Black Cherry Wishniak

Made with real sugar Stewart's Black Cherry Wishniak soda is a smooth drinking experience that would go well with some whisky. This is a soda for those who wish to take a moment and live in joy and good drink. I recommend it for those of you who just want to sit down and have a good moment.
 

Pepsi-Cola Soda Shop Cream Soda Cola

 The unholy combination of flavors that is Pepsi-Cola Soda Shop Cream Soda Cola is a real sugar soda that brings you back to the 50's when food was really starting to suck. The post World War II chemical fertilizers made vegetables bland, and food was coming more and more from a laboratory than a farm.

If you want a cream cola I would say you should get some cream and some cola and put them together like they did in the old days. this stuff is for the birds with it's lab grown taste. 

You should also remember that in the 50's soda was thought of as a dessert and not consumed as often or in the quantities that we consume it in today.  

Then again, you can't trust the water so how much worse for you can soda be?

Blue Sky Natural Soda Creamy Root Beer

Blue Sky Natural Soda Creamy Root Beer is another real sugar soda. These are more satisfying than the corn variety and the creamy root beer is no exception.  

I find this to be about as good as any name brand root beer. I have mine with vodka. 

Blue Sky Natural Soda Lemon Lime

Blue Sky Natural Soda Lemon Lime is something you reach for when you want to get drunk but be a hippy at the same time. What, you mean hippies don't care how they get drunk?! Okay, how about hipster? Is that right? Hipsters like real sugar with their vodka right?

Anyway, this is good soda and the real sugar will mean that you get more satisfaction from your drink. It goes great with spirits and is all around good stuff. 

The only negative is that they sell them in the old ringed six pack and that has to be cut to bits to protect wild life. Raise a glass and get me scissors.

Pepsi Cola Made with Real Sugar

My biggest problem with Pepsi Cola Made with Real Sugar is that I had to take this kind of a picture because I keep drinking it before I got around to making a meal around this beverage.

This stuff is totally kicking, I recommend it for a mixer with good whisky. I generally save this for the Wild Turkey 101. Real sugar is always better.

Coca Cola (Mexican)

Funny that the Mexican version would be the higher quality of the two but Coca Cola keeps it's quality no matter where it gets bottled. Mexican coke does come in a larger bottle than American coke so be prepared for 40 more Calories of soda. 

I would call this an A grade soda and the price agrees with me so drink in moderation and drink with good whisky.
