Wienerschnitzel Large Fish and Chips

 Wienerschnitzel Large Fish and Chips is more chips than anything else. Have to say that I love fish and chips but these are a disappointment. They aren't crisp or flaky and they just kind of taste Meh. I can see why these come and go, because you don't miss them.

Titan Burger Chino Fish and Chips

Titan Burger Chino located in Chino California is a normal California dinner. As you can see there Fish and Chips is more food than a reasonable person can eat in one sitting. 

I love fish and chips so I would get this again but it didn't wow me in any way. Just normal diner fair.

Galaxy Burgers Fish and Chips Dinner

Galaxy Burgers Fish and Chips Dinner is your basic bread crumb fish with fries, onion rings, rice pilaf, and a roll. My advice is to leave the rice for last because it will store the longest. 

In any case, this is different as most fish n' chips uses battered fish. It's of good quality and for folks like me who love this kind of food very very satisfying. I only wish I didn't have to try other stuff so I could have more of this. 

Delicious Big D's Burgers inc. Fish and Chips

Anyone who has been reading this blog knows by now that I love fish and chips, so when I walked into  Delicious Big D's Burgers Inc. in Whittier California I didn't have burgers on my mind. The presentation to this is really top notch and the fish and chips are good. I can't say that they stand out much but they will run you as much as fish and chips at Farmer Boy's will so it's not that big of a deal. 

Not bad. 

Pioneer Chicken Fish and Chips

When I was a boy Pioneer Chicken was a place my family went for dinner. Now with only two locations left in Southern California (LA and Bell Gardens) I had almost forgotten the place. 

Well, I never had their fish and chips before but it's good fish and chips. The fish is not too fishy and the chips are nice and crisp. In fact, just looking at these makes me want to go back there and have more. Too bad next time I have to try something new. 

The Hideout Pizza and Grill Fish and Chips

Over in Anaheim California if you have a hankering for Fish and Chips at two in the morning you can get yourself to The Hideout Pizza and Grill and get this plate. This also comes with potato salad, but I have never understood potato salad. 

As fish and chips go this is mid grade stuff. I mean, it's not the best I've ever had and far from the worst. It does not come with a lemon slice.  

This was a lot of food. It was hard for me to finish.  I don't think I'll get it again only because they have better things at The Hideout.

Ted's Burgers Fish and Chips

Over at Ted's Burgers in Anaheim you can get some really good food. The fish and chips is not something I'm putting on that list. The fish is on the small side and clearly out of a box. Is it bad, no, but it's not totally killer like some of the other food here.

Yoshinoya Fish and Chips

When I heard that Yoshinoya of all places had Fish and Chips I had to get me some. You get a whole load of chips there even if they are the least chippy chips I have ever had. I mean, I know there is another word for those kind of potatoes. 

Otherwise the whole thing is kind of bland and, well, normal. You'll need a little more time than normal to eat this, but if you like fish and chips eat away. 

 

California Grill Fish and Chips

California Grill Fish and Chips needs more fish to go along with those chips. I mean, that is not a lot of fish. Other than that it's okay. 

Maggie's Pub Sherlock Holmes

Maggie's Pub 'Sherlock Holmes' is your standard fish and chips. They are simple, filling, and very Irish. My mouth waters just looking at them so I recommend them all the way.  

Pacific Fish Grill Fish and Chips

Every time I try a new restaurant I give their fish and chips a try, and Pacific Fish Grill being a fish place, well. . .

Anyway, these were about mid ground for fish and chips but they had a killer crunch to them. If you like fish and chips this will work for you but if that's not your bag these don't stand out.

The Old Ship Fish and Chips

Flaky and well made, these are some good fish and chips. If you're going to an English Pub you got to get the fish and chips. So I have to give these a thumbs up but then I love fish and chips.  

Farmer Boys Four Piece Hand Battered Fish Dinner

This is one of those days where reviewing things makes me depressed. At more than twenty five hundred Calories and twice that in salt, a hundred and eighty five milligrams of cholesterol, and twenty five grams of saturated fat this is a health nightmare. 

Then I had this for two meals because I had to take some of it home. Tastes great but will kill you.
