Pacific Fish Grill Wild Jumbo Shrimp & Chips

Pacific Fish Grill's Wild 'Jumbo Shrimp & Chips' wasn't all that wild. The shrimp had a gamy flavor akin to it having sat too long before freezing but you got a lot of 'chips'.

All in all I liked this but it wasn't great. I could go either way with buying it again but may be it was the Poke we had as an appetizer that made me dislike it so if you like shrimp give this a try.

Pacific Fish Grill Ahi Poke

Pacific Fish Grill's Ahi Poke was a curiosity picked out by my brother. It turn out that Ahi is a kind of tuna fish and Poke is the method of preparation.

In other words, this is a plate of raw fish. Not sushi, sushi requires bitter rice, but raw fish none the less.

We both found this revolting  and my brother now has asked me to remind him never to buy this again. He wouldn't even eat the avocado off the top.

Pacific Fish Grill Fish and Chips

Every time I try a new restaurant I give their fish and chips a try, and Pacific Fish Grill being a fish place, well. . .

Anyway, these were about mid ground for fish and chips but they had a killer crunch to them. If you like fish and chips this will work for you but if that's not your bag these don't stand out.

Pacific Fish Grill Appetizer Combo

The Pacific Fish Grill Appetizer Combo comes with shrimp, calamari, zucchini, pita bread, and a crab cake. Some how I think this is hard to share given only one crab cake but who eats those things?

I didn't find this all that great but I have learned that 'Combo' or 'Sampler' just means more price for what you get. I wouldn't get this again.
