Campbell's Well Yes! Power Spiced Chickpea Soup

 I don't know why I like these Well Yes! Power Spiced Chickpea Soups so much because they are so not spiced. I guess they don't have the salt to make the flavor pop but I love chickpeas so much that I don't care. 

I get these all the time and I one hundred percent love them. 

Nongshim Bowl Noodle Spicy Chicken

 Is there anything more college than Nongshim Bowl Noodle Spicy Chicken? Yes, low quality beer. However, I don't drink piss water so we need to talk about this chicken noodle stuff. 

Anyway, it taste like noodles. I would never has said there was chicken flavor in it, but then I think I get so many chicken flavored noodles that I guess that's what they taste like to me. I will also grant that there are streets in LA where the gutters are filled with these things, because that is all the people can afford. 

These are a sign of poverty but they fill you up. I like them, but now I'm depressed.

Campbell's Chunky New England Clam Chowder

 I have never understood clam chowder nor how it can be New England. I don't know what makes one different from the other, but I guess if I read up on it more I would find out. The  idea of eating clams in and of itself is lost on me as they are the water filter for the ocean and full of things that other things poop out. 

Thus, Campbell's Chunky New England Clam Chowder left an odd taste in my mouth. Don't get me wrong, we eat vegetables which are fed off the poop of other animals so clams aren't abnormally poop filled. I just never saw why we eat them.

I guess you could say that this stuff is mostly potato chowder with the clam being sprinkled in. It hasn't much flavor and is, as I often say, unoffensive. 

It's food like this that makes me ask, 'what is it that I'm looking for in a canned soup?' I mean, really, what should I be saying about this stuff?

Campbell's Chunky Savory Chicken with White and Wild Rice Soup

 Campbell's Chunky Savory Chicken with White and Wild Rice Soup is passable. It is everything written on the tin. It could have had a few herbs to give it flavor and more vegetables, but if you want those things you can add them yourself. 

Canned soup is made to not offend people and this does not offend me. I'm not the biggest fan of soup, but needing to try something new I'm not sorry I found this. 

Stuff is okay.

 

Campbell's Chunky Spicy Steak & Potato Soup

 Campbell's Chunky Spicy Steak & Potato Soup doesn't look that chunky. I mean, in the picture it just looks like soup. Then again chunky soup is just stew so it really is as chunky as it should be without adding stew to the name. 

Anyway, it wasn't spicy enough for me to reach for water. In addition, this is on the simple side with few ingredients.  This wasn't bad, but it wasn't life changing. I'm not sad that I can't get more, because I need to try new things for this blog. 

If you're not a spice lover and you need to clear your nose out this is a top soup. I would even go to say that it would be good to keep a can of this on hand. Still, if you like spicy then this will disappoint. 

Campbell's Chunky Baked Potato with Cheddar and Bacon Bits Soup

Campbell's Chunky Baked Potato with Cheddar and Bacon Bits Soup tastes like potato chowder. There is no hint of the bacon or cheddar advertised. 

It sounds so good, but is so there that I wouldn't recommend it. There was nothing wrong with this it just wasn't as good as I thought it would be. 
 

Campbell’s Chunky Old Fashioned Vegetable Beef Soup

 This is the time for soup and Campbell’s Chunky Old Fashioned Vegetable Beef Soup is soup. I mean, it is light on the chunky but then do you want soup to be chunky? 

As soup goes, I don't care. I really feel indifference towards this soup. Given that canned soup can be thought of as a survival food then indifference isn't a bad reaction. It also has an easy flip top lid so no can opener is needed. The only problem is when I opened this my cats came running because they thought it was for them. 

The only think I would change about this would be to add some black or red beans to make it more filling, and add some pepper to give it flavor. After that, it kind of just is. 

Campbell's Chunky Chicken Corn Chowder

 Campbell's Chunky Chicken Corn Chowder is not to be placed in the microwave. Stuff got everywhere and it was only in there for two minutes. 

Now, I admit corn chowder isn't something I eat much of and have little experience with. However, this could have used more corn. I mean, it's corn chowder it should have corn. It was low on chicken, but I would have figured that there wouldn't be that much chicken to start with. 

This didn't have a lot of flavor at all and could have used some pepper or something like that. All in all, it was there but I wouldn't get it again.

Campbell's Well Yes! Braised Beef & Black Barley Soup

 Now is the time for soup if global warming hasn't screwed that up for me. Being fat made ice cream bad for me now it's always too hot for soup. Anyway Campbell's Well Yes! soup is the hippy version of their normal death slop. Sadly no hippies were cooked into this Braised Beef & Black Barley Soup. It's till full of sodium like most of their soup, but I think it has more vegetables. It's still not enough vegetables to be really good for you so I would add a few.

The thing about this soup is that if it's better for you than the normal soup you buy then you should buy it and if it isn't you shouldn't. Tastes fine.

Campbell's Chunky Hearty Italian-Style Wedding Soup

 

Campbell's Chunky Hearty Italian-Style Wedding Soup was something I picked up because I thought the name was odd. It's chicken soup with meatballs. Those round things are a kind of pasta and the broth is chicken. 

I have to say, I like this stuff.  I'm not sure if I'd go buying it all the time but I may try making it on my own to use up wilted spinach in the future. It has chopped greens and carrots so I would have added more vegetables myself, but on the whole, it goes down well on a cold day.

Wolfgang Puck Organic Free Range Chicken & Dumplings Soup

 I Meh at you 'Wolfgang Puck Organic Free Range Chicken & Dumplings Soup', you are good, but not that good. I expected a little more. I wanted it to be like the cover shows full of vegetables. The truth is that this is good soup. I don't know if it's that much better than any other soup, but at least you know the chicken was treated okay before they cut it's head off and boiled it.

Campbell's Chunky Hearty Cheeseburger Soup

Campbell's Chunky Hearty Cheeseburger Soup needs more burger with all that cheese ish stuff. From a taste level this stuff isn't all that bad. I mean, it didn't remind me of a cheeseburger, but well, it was like some kind of chowder.

All and all, not bad. 

Olive Garden Minestrone Soup

Minestrone Soup may very well have its origins in the world of "this is what we have so cook it" predating the Latin tribes that eventually became ancient Rome. That means that there is no wrong way to make Minestrone Soup.

Keeping that in mind, there were a lot of tomatoes in this soup. If you don't like tomatoes you best give it a pass, but I have to say that as a starter this did okay. 

Panera Bread Vegetarian Creamy Tomato Soup

I dipped my sandwich in this, I broke up my chips and dropped them in, I could taste none of the promised red pepper or oregano.

I can take this or leave it, but for 450 Calories and 680 mgs of sodium I can't call it good for you.

On the up side, they say it wards off prostate cancer so Mr. Happy will like you for eating this stuff.
