Carl's Jr. Waffle Fries

When did Carl’s Jr. start calling them Waffle fries? They were crisscut fries back in the day. Anyway, these are  crisscut fries, but I don’t know if there is any legal definition of that so waffle is a good enough name.

In any case, Carl’s has some okay fries to start with and the Waffle Fries are a step up but not as filling. I think you get less potato in the deal. I’d say that one big advantage of these is that being larger you’re not going to lose them in your car as easily.

I lose way too much fast food in my car. I need to have that thing cleaned.

 

Norm's Famous Charbroiled Burgers French Fries

 Norm's Famous Charbroiled Burgers French Fries are there to fill you up. They are something to put ketchup on and nothing more. This is not to say that there is anything wrong with them but rather that there is nothing interesting about them. 

They are french fries and there is nothing wrong with that.

Mom's Touch French Fries

 Mom's Touch has thicker french fries than most fast food places, but they kind of remind me of Denny's Fries. Been some time since I went to Denny's. 

Anyway, these are french fries. Nothing that really jumps out at me about them. In think these are okay, but you go to this place for chicken not fries. 

RC Burgers in South Gate French Fries

I took a trip to South Gate California for work and figured on getting some local color. So I stopped at the local RC Burger. I'm kind of sure this is a common name referring to a number of non related burger establishments, but I got shrimp anyway.

Well, my shrimp came with a mountain of french fries and me being me ate the lot of them. It was hard, but I'm willing to suffer for my art.  

They are a bit salty but perfectly fine otherwise. 

The Hideout Pizza and Grill 'Chips'

Over at The Hideout Pizza and Grill in Anaheim you get seasoned fries with the meatball sub but these 'chips' with your fish and chips. I found it a bit hard to wrap my had around the idea of just having more than one french fries without it being noted. 

These things are okay. I don't mean to say they kick ass but they are good enough to eat.

Del Taco French Fries

I took my car to have the oil changed and the only thing that was open was a Del Taco the cheap ripoff of Taco Bell for those people who want tacos and french fries. Well, these are perfectly functional french fries.

This was back in December and a few days after the anniversary of my mother's death. She used to take me to Del Taco and just over these silly fries a tear dropped from my right eye.

If only you folks new how hard I work to bring these reviews to you.

Pioneer Cafe French Fries

At the Pioneer Cafe in Glendale French Fries are reduced to the simplest way of making them. I don't think these even have salt. If I were you I'd get something to put on these or you'll die of boredom eating them. 

Art's Burgers French Fries

Art's Burgers French Fries are just that, French Fries, and I can't put much thought into them. I mean, yeah, if you're not getting Chili Cheese Fries you can order these but I don't understand why you wouldn't get Chili Cheese Fries. 

The Habit Burger Grill French Fries

The Habit Burger Grill French Fries are about average. With so many other things on the menu I don't even know why you would get these, but I will say they didn't disappoint me.

Bob's Burgers French Fries

If you're fat like I am you've said "I want more french fries' more than once. At Bob's Burgers you will definitely not say that after ordering a combo. You get a lot of French Fries, like, a whole French of them. 

Wienerschnitzel French Fries Burrito

Wienerschnitzel French Fries Burritos are the perfect food for people who love eating in their car. 

This staid in the burrito and was about as good as what you get at Wienerschnitzel. 

I have to say I like these, they're not as good as corn dogs but I like them.  

Sizzler French Fries

Sizzler French Fries fall short of going the extra mile, but do give you another hundred yards. They are more flavorful than normal friend fries. My rule is to review everything so I reviewed these. Still, there is little to say about them. I would get them again, because I love french fries.

Jack in the Box French Fries

Jack in the Box French Fries are french fries. They are about as middle ground as I can find in the way of fries. They get the job done but are otherwise not worth eating.

Omega Burger French Fries

Omega Burger's 'French Fries' are golden, crispy, and topped with a brownish red salt that is kind of sweet. Much like their burgers this didn't jump out at me but they were satisfying. I could have lived without the salt but they put some effort into making this a different french fry.

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que French Fries

Nothing remarkable can be said about Lucille's french fries. They get the job done but I've had fries like this so often that I would never order these at this place again. It just doesn't strike me as better than I can get anywhere else.

California Grill French Fries

I found California Grill's French Fries to be very much like BJ's in most respects. I will say that they are a step above most fast food fries but, as they are bad for you, to be avoided.

Burger King French Fries

Burger King is not the king of fast food burgers. That would be In N' Out in my opinion but that's not the point of this review. Burger king french fries are larger than the french fries of Burger King's leading competitor and I have always liked them.  They tend to be crisp and with the right amount of salt. 

Original Tommy's Hamburgers French Fries

Original Tommy's Hamburgers French Fries are well french fries. I found nothing good nor bad about them I mean if you're at Tommy's you get them if you like french fries. 

McDonald's French Fries

Oh, you kill me so good. I love these things, but they are all starch and salt. It is very hard to find a balanced meal at McDonald's. 
Keep these down to a minimum.

Carl’s Jr. French Fries

If real French-fries and sticks had babies then those babies had babies with real French Fries then you’d have these puppies. Only I think sticks are better for you. Kind of dry and greasy if that is possible these French Fries suck.
