It’s not easy being cheesy and Chester Cheetah has taken a brake to make these BBQ things. I can’t call them chips because they are not sliced from a potato. These are okay but I would never get them again.
They feel kind of odd in the mouth because of how they’re made so it could be a matter of getting used to them. I don’t need to get used to this kind of food.
Mandarin Soda by Jarritos has a bitter flavor compared to say a naval orange. I found it be acidic with a real fruit like flavor. It wasn’t just like drinking a mandarin and wasn’t made for us American sugar lovers.
I have to say this was into resting and it would go very well with vodka. I don’t know about tequila but I think it is robust enough for vodka or even whisky.
Over at Christy's Donuts in Hacienda Heights you can get this thing which I believe is a chocolate chip bar. The staff there doesn't speak enough English to tell you the real name and there is no website with a clear menu that I could find.
I will say that my time at Christy's Donuts was punctuated by a number of women in tight pants and the butts made it a better experience.
As for the doughnut, well, it was okay. I can't say it was wonderful but it was okay. I would have liked the chips to be more spread out, but how much do I expect from a doughnut?
Burger King Moca Iced Coffee with Cold Foam is not all that much better with cold foam. The coffee part I like. I mean, it tastes like coffee. I love coffee so coffee that tastes like coffee as opposed to coffee that tastes like chocolate milk is a good thing.
As for that cold foam on top, just makes it taste less like coffee.
I use this to make chocolate orange cocktails and they would be better garnished with a chocolate orange slice but they are amazing.
Frosting Devil's Food Vodka is a drink in moderation sort of thing but it will really get people talking at a party.
It was a dark shadow of the real thing but close enough to get the job done.
Anyway, this McDonald’s Strawberry Shake tastes like strawberry candy. I grant that you don’t get the same joy of dipping your French fries in this the way I did as a kid because the thinner shake doesn’t get on the fries as much.
Oscar Myer Baloney was my go to lunch meat as a kid. I don’t know if it was this everything but the farm’s dog kind, and this doesn’t taste right to me so I don’t think it was. I couldn’t say what kind I got back then because my mom had passed an the old man would just take me to the store to buy what I wanted.
This has less flavor than the Baloney I had as a kid, but I did have that with white bread that had almost no flavor to go with it at the time.
Truth be told, I guess one should have low expectations of baloney. It’s the food of the poor to start with in a country where even the poor can have meat. Makes me remember how lucky I am and how ugly the world can be.
