Jack in the Box Big Smashed Jack

 Looking a good deal like a Big Mac the Jack in the Box Big smashed Jack is another of the Smashed line of underwhelming burgers. I mean, this was fine but a true smashed burger has more of a crunch to it as the smashed part means that more of the meat gets on the grill.

Overall this was just salt and bad meat but it wasn’t bad for Jack in the Box.

 

Baileys Light Irish Cream

Baileys Light Irish Cream is a lot smoother than normal Baileys but if you drink it for the flavor you need to use more. I have to admit that I like this product, but I'm not sure I would take it over the original. 

I mean, less calories more drunk isn't a good selling  point for me but if that's what you're looking for this stuff is top notch. 
 

The Jack in the Box Breakfast Jack

The Jack in the Box Breakfast Jack is meh incarnate. The ham is lunch level and there are no other real points to make about this sandwich that would bring the world to it in the morning.

Small and flavorless, this was a disappointment.

 

Albertsons Sugar Jumbo Cookies

 Being a big fat dude I often go to the discount baking rack at Albertson’s and these Jumbo Sugar Cookies are on sale. I think they’re just dandy. I don’t know why I would call them dandy but they are too soft for coffee dipping and they do look a bit fabulous.

These aren’t my favorite cookies to get at Albertson’s but they do brighten my day.

Glico Pretz Spicy Barbeque

 Glico Pretz Spicy Barbeque Baked Snack Sticks are kind of  look like poky and so I didn’t know what I was buying. I thought they were chocolate. I so should have read the pack but I don’t mind it at all.

These were right fine. I would have had them again if I found more but this was the only box I got. Tasted just fine.

 

Carl's Jr. Big Angus Western Bacon Cheeseburger

The Carl's Jr. Big Angus Western Bacon Cheeseburger is a big wet burger that has less calories than a Double Western and yet falls apart from it's low quality bun and drippy nature. 

Eating these makes me wish I had real meat because the fast food version of beef just isn't that great. 

This is fine but it just isn't going to make me buy it a second time. 
 

D-Plus Baked Wheat Cake Strawberry

D-Plus Baked Wheat Cake Strawberry has the more delicate flavor I would associate with Japanese food. It is a very soft bread with a sweet mild flavor that stands out among most breads. 

I mark it a buy. If you haven't tried it you should because it is really different.
 

Alienergy Energy Shot Yerba Maté Classic

 Alienergy Energy Shot Yerba Maté Classic looks the same on the way in as it does on the way out. It works okay and I guess I have to admit that an energy shot is to be felt more than tasted. Still, I have to say that original monster was never a good flavor for me.

Subway Honey Mustard

 Subway Sandwiches Honey Mustard Sauce came with my Chicken Dipper and it had a great taste. I have to admit that most honey mustard just doesn't have that much flavor but this is really good. 

I also tried this on the pretzels and it just worked so well. This stuff is top notch and I'll have it again.

Taco Bell Nacho Fries

 I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered Nacho Fries from Taco Bell, but I didn’t see them as being very nacho. I guess I thought they would be more like Doritos. Anyway, these are just fine. I wouldn’t call them earth shattering or anything bit they are a bit more involved than normal French fries and that’s not a bad thing.

Green Giant Little Green Sprout's Organic Riced Veggies Cauliflower Medley

Little Green Sprout's Organic Riced Veggies Cauliflower Medley by Green Giant tastes about as you would expect them to be. It looks like rice, feels nothing like rice in the mouth, and tastes bland. 

I did like the meatloaf I made with the second pack so my recommendation is to add these into other food that will flavor and texture them. 

I mean, these mix into food well but do very poorly as rice.
 

Carl's Jr. Bacon Swiss Chicken Sandwich

Over the years I've had at least a  hundred Carl's Jr. Bacon Swiss Chicken Sandwiches but I stopped eating them four years ago because I got a few bad ones with chicken that was just too tough. 

For the most part these are good. I think the bad ones were just a thing at the time. I don't like the tomato but the bacon, cheese, and ranch work well with the chicken. 

Black Rifle Coffee Co. Rich Mocha Espresso 300 Triple Shot

Black Rifle Coffee Co. Rich Mocha Espresso 300 Triple Shot is nothing like Espresso but then if you drank Espresso that size you would go into shock.

Stuff at least tastes like coffee which is a good thing even if it is only mildly coffee like. 

If it were not for the fact that I can just make my own iced coffee this would be a great product. I would say buy this if you have money to burn.
 

McDonald's McCrispy

 The McDonald's McCrispy is of better chicken than their nuggets. I assure you I have had worse chicken than their nuggets. It comes with pickles and butter and a potato bun.

I would say this is a solid chicken sandwich if not otherwise interesting. I like how simple it is.

I wouldn't say this is earthshaking but it is good enough for fast food.  

Campbell's Slow Kettle Style Creamy Broccoli Cheddar Bisque

Campbell's Slow Kettle Style Creamy Broccoli Cheddar Bisque Is the kind of thing that I just don't get. Who eats a bisque on the go. You can see I added vegetables and meat to mine because that's how you eat these things. 

It didn't have the gross over old vegetable flavor of some broccoli bisque, but as a thing to eat on it's own I would still give this a fail. 
 

Subway Sandwiches Pepperoni Dipper

 The Subway Sandwiches Pepperoni Dipper appears to be a flat bread with pepperoni and cheese baked in the oven and there for hot. It is dusty on the outside and underdone on the inside. 

I can't say that this is bad but I can't say that it isn't worth four dollars. It's the price point that makes this not worth eating. 

I'd rather have a six inch sub than this and I would get that with more vegetables and make it better for me.

D-Plus Baked Wheat Cake Coffee

D-Plus Baked Wheat Cake Coffee is a Japanese bread that is soft and fine with a delicate texture. I find the coffee flavor could be stronger but it is strong enough to be there. 

I have to say that I am always happy to find new D-Plus products at my local store. I don't know if I would buy these on the regular, but if you haven't tried these you should.

This is a distinct product and whereas I'm not saying they are great they are something we all should try.
 

CUT by Hydroxycut Weight Loss + Energy Drink Watermelon & Pomegranate

I don't like zero calorie energy drinks, but I drink them for this blog. This CUT by Hydroxycut Weight Loss + Energy Drink Watermelon & Pomegranate is good for what it is. I mean, I have only had two flavors of Cut and I think I liked them both. 

I don't know how well they work at taking off the pounds but they taste rather good.
 

Bush's Fusions Buffalo Spiked Honey Baked Beans

I was really expecting a lot more flavor in these Bush's Best Flavor Fusions Buffalo Spiked Honey Baked Beans. Not that these were bad in any way they just didn't have the flavor I would have expected out of the name. 

I wouldn't say I tasted buffalo sauce or honey. These are fine but they're not wonderful.
 

Campbell's Well Yes! Power Spiced Chickpea Soup

 I don't know why I like these Well Yes! Power Spiced Chickpea Soups so much because they are so not spiced. I guess they don't have the salt to make the flavor pop but I love chickpeas so much that I don't care. 

I get these all the time and I one hundred percent love them. 

Genki Forest Alienergy Energy Shot Blackberry & Yerba Mate Flavor

I'm not sure you can still get Genki Forest Alienergy Energy Shots but the Blackberry & Yerba Mate isn't much to write home about. I mean, it tastes okay and kind of works but if they did stop making it I can see why. 

This appears to be a Korean product and it's popularity may be cultural rather than flavor based. It doesn't have much of a kick to it but then maybe the stuff I got was just old.
