Galia melon

For those of you who don't know Galia comes from a Hebrew name meaning "god's wave". The Galia was developed in Israel and named after Dr. Zvi Karchi's daughter. 

These melons are sweet and fragrant, easy to grow, and keep well until cut.  I love these things and you can see here that I served this one with strawberries, grape nuts, and cottage cheese.

I get Galia Melon's whenever I see them because I love them so much.
