Basin Gold Potato

In the world of potatoes these things are king or at very least the largest potatoes I have ever come across. They store well and, um, they taste like potatoes which is what you’d expect.

The only complaint I can make, other than cooking time, is that if you buy these you better really like potatoes. I mean, that is a lot of spud. I boil potatoes myself, shut up I’m Irish, and these take about an hour. Then I pick them up with togs and make them explode into the frying pan where I have conveniently placed sausage and mushrooms.
