'This Bar Saves Lives' is a thing about when you buy them they give food to hungry people. I don't know how legitimate this is, but it sounds like a good idea. 

In any case, the Madagascar Vanilla Almond & Honey tastes great and only has one or two ingredients that I don't like seeing. It's packed with fiber and carbs to get you going on a long hike. I mean, these things have their place and are better for you than that candy bar from the vending machine.
