Costco Food Court Hot Dog

I don't go to Costco as much as I used to so my time at the food court tends to be pizza related. This day I was feeling bad and needed something light.

The Hot Dog is a classic of the food court and much beloved. I can't see why, they aren't that impressive but they are big.

The bun was in two parts which bothered me but at Costco you can add a lot of stuff on top. It's all stuff I don't like save for ketchup and mustered, but if you have a Costco card and you're hungry it will do you.

King's Hawaiian Hawaiian Sweet Hot Dog Buns

King's Hawaiian has these Hawaiian Sweet Hot Dog Buns and I'm not sure why. The flavors don't work that well together. I think maybe my choice of topping is what killed this but I don't see these showing up and doing well at your next BBQ.

Also, the buns are on the fragile side. I really thought this was a good brand so maybe I got a bad batch.

Old Home Hot Dog Enriched Buns

In the world of suck one thing that stands out is hot dog buns that don't keep your ketchup in. Old Home Hot Dog Enriched Buns are such buns. I mean, why have a bun if you get crap all over you?

Ball Park Hot Dog Buns

Ball Park Hot Dog Buns are an American favorite...let's not forget that this is an America that elected a giant orange Muppet president. I don't trust this America dude. He makes bad decisions.

These Ball Park Hot Dog Buns are small and white. The hot dog doesn't fit in them well and the condiments go spilling out of them when you try to eat them.

I will say that these are not wholly without redeeming qualities. They do have Calcium and Iron. Nutrients are a good thing, but I look these buns like I look at the current United States Government. I mean, I know we need one but can't we do a little better?

Whittier Village Cinema Hot Dog

Like the movies in theaters today the Hot Dogs at Whittier Village cinema are nothing to speak of. I mean honestly, if you're going to be expensive you should try really hard to be good.
