Carl’s Jr. Lemonade

Carl’s Jr. Lemonade is well, lemonade, it has the quality of being lemonade only it’s on the pithy side tastes like more of the lemon than was right got into the mix. I don’t think much of it. I wouldn’t recommend it and I wouldn’t get it again.

Carl’s Jr. Triple Queso Crunch Burger

Carl’s Mr.’s Triple Queso Crunch Burger has more burger and less crunch per bite than the double or single. The triple just had no flavor by Queso Crunch sanders but it was a big floppy burger that was hard to get in my mouth.

Building up may be impressive but with a burger building out is a better experience.

In any case, this was a letdown and so I wouldn’t get one again. Then again my bloated frame needs salad.

Carl’s Jr. Side of Queso

At Carl’s Jr. you can get a Side of Queso for like a buck fifty and I was dumb enough to buy it and try it. It’s bland watery cheese sauce that you would be better off passing and having ketchup.

So fail!

Carl’s Jr. Buttermilk Ranch Sauce

The Buttermilk Ranch you get at Carl’s Jr. is a little runny, and the green bits are of a duller color than one would like. It tastes like buttermilk ranch. I mean, it’s fine. I wouldn’t go looking for this but as ranch goes it is ranch.

Carl’s Jr. Buffalo Sauce

Carl’s Jr. Buffalo Sauce is not made of buffaloes. I would honestly like to have something made of buffalo some time, but I guess it wouldn’t come from Carl’s Jr.

I find this to be a runny sauce reminiscent of the kind one may get at a sports bar but being both less brightly colored and having less kick to its flavor.

Back in the day, I do recall friends doing buffalo sauce shots to prove they were hard. No one ever did more than three that I can recall but this stuff hasn’t got that kick so you can do more shots of this without getting sick.

Not bad, not the real thing.

Carl’s Jr. Chicken Stars

In an effort to make them less like the McNugget Carl’s Jr. formed their chicken into stars. This is kind of in theme with the rest of the place given that their logo is a star, but they really stand out from McNuggets by making them out of chicken.

This is not to say that these are not made of some kind of chicken paste that is full of not chicken things, but I can tell that there is more chicken in these than there is in a McNugget. The breading is darker and more textured, and the stars are of overall better quality.

Now they just need to get some of the Sweet and Sour sauce I love so much, and the golden arches would be a thing of memory for me.

Carl’s Jr. Ranch Chicken Tender Wraps

Ranch Chicken Tender Wraps at Carl’s Jr. are a thing to be eaten in short order. The ranch is better cold and in contrast to hot chicken. The lettuce will wilt and what your left with will be a little on the sad side.

I mean, as a fresh wrap these are good enough, not so fresh they’re not as good.

Carl’s Jr. BBQ Chicken Tender Wraps

The BBQ Tender Wrap at Carl’s Jr. is just like the Ranch or Santa Fe save for this one has BBQ sauce. It’s not the best BBQ sauce I've had, but out of the three wraps this one has the most kick.

If I were to improve this wrap, I would use cabbage and not lettuce, but past that I can’t say much for it. I mean, just the tenders and dipping sauce would be better for you.

Carl’s Jr. Santa Fe Chicken Tender Wrap

The Chicken Tender Wrap at Carl’s Jr. is not a thing to get in the drive through because they can take a long time. At least they did for me. I mean, I had to park out front and wait for the thing.

The Santa Fa version of their Chicken Tender Wrap is just the one with the pink sauces and I don’t know what that sauce is but it’s there to get all over the place. I wouldn’t call it good, and I wouldn’t call it bad, but it more just is.

I would say this is more of a soft taco than a wrap but then I guess a wrap has more filling than a soft taco. Also, a wrap should be wrapped around the stuff inside and it was in more of a taco form to me, but it still tastes the same.
