McDonald's Sausage, Egg & Cheese Bagel

 This McDonald's Sausage, Egg & Cheese Bagel came covered in what I think is some mild mustered. The whole thing had little in the way of flavor but was big for a golden arches morning meal. 

This thing is just unimpressive. I mean, really, after I wiped off all that goop it was just okay. The bagel was a little old and the sausage was without flavor.

Aidells Pineapple & Bacon Sausage

 Aidells Pineapple & Bacon Sausage sounds like something I wouldn't like. I don't like pineapple on pizza and the idea of bacon in a sausage defeats the reason one would want bacon.

That doesn't change the fact that this isn't bad. The high sugar content makes it char up good. I found this to be best sliced and cooked rather than just on the pan whole like I have them here. 

They look cooked before they're hot all the way through, but they do taste good.

Sheboygan Mild Italian Sausage

 Sheboygan Mild Italian Sausage will last for a long time if kept cold because it is so salty that most things can't eat it. It is also good to make cuts along the sausage to let the thing cook. 

I can taste the herbs, but the salt covers them for the most part. This is a beer drinkers sausage for sure. It would be good to have a beer to mellow out all that salt after eating a few links of this sausage. 

Now I better go eat a salad or something to get all that salt out of my system. 

Applegate Organics Chicken & Apple Sausage

Applegate Organics Chicken & Apple Sausage is a precooked sausage that has a strong apple flavor compared to most apple sausage I've had. 

The strong flavor of apple isn't something I look for in a sausage but as sausage goes it works well. I'll grant that I wish this would heat a little more evenly but that's precooked sausage for you in general. 

Good product. Would recommend.
 

Bistro Sensations Mozzarella Chicken Sausage

The first thing that happened when I bit into my Bistro Sensations Mozzarella Chicken Sausage was that I got a burst of hot molten cheese on my face. I had first degree burns.

 These sausages taste great, but the cheese makes no impact on how good they are. I mean, buy them, sure, let them cool a bit so you don't burn yourself. Just don't think the cheese is a big thing.

Johnsonville Flame Grilled Cheddar Sausage

 What little winter we have here in California is gone and we can now cook out doors...it's been that way since January, but I digress. Slap a few Johnsonville Flame Grilled Cheddar Sausages on your grill and you can have yourself both a night of eating food for the depressed and of wearied dreams that come about of eating cheese.

I've never liked cheese sausage, but these are very good for cheese sausage. Cheese away and they will make your dreams vivid and crazy...any cheese before bed will do that.  

Hormel Black Label Eggs, Sausage & 3 Cheeses Oven-Baked Egg Bites

 "Hormel Black Label Eggs, Sausage, & 3 Cheeses Oven-Baked Egg Bites" are a breakfast item for the folks who haven't the time to make food. They will not fill you up but along with a good apple or some carrots will get you going. 

Are they great, no, but they are good at the write price. I would rather cook than eat these because that would be more filling and better quality with more of the ingredients I want, but if you're short on time these work just fine. 

Good to Go Pork Sausage Skinless Links

Good to Go Pork Sausage Skinless Links are the sausage that you get in restaurants that never tastes cooked all the way through. As you can see I chopped it up and scorched it, and it still didn't give me a meaty texture.

This stuff is fatty and odd tasting. It's one of those 'I can't put my finger' on it situations.  There is something just wrong with this sausage.
 

Johnsonville Flame Grilled Original Bratwurst

Johnsonville Flame Grilled Original Bratwurst is what goes for your more basic sausage. There is nothing flashy in this link and the spice factor isn't vary high. 

I'll grant you that the only thing I can really make fun of is that name. "Johnsonville" sounds like the most basic place on earth or a land of dick headed people who refuse to stop making bad puns. It doesn't help that my brother in law is a Johnson and a whole ville of dick heads like him can't be good. 

I would get this sausage again. 

Devour Lasagna Alfredo with Bacon & Sausage

Devour Lasagna Alfredo with Bacon & Sausage is the kind of thing I see at the market and want to get, because I feel bad. It totaly looks nothing like lasagna out of the oven but to be honest tastes like it and that's good enough for me.

This is not to say that it's Italian lasagna. No, it's the bland American kind, but I love it just the same. It could be more meaty and bad for you but for what it is this is killer stuff.  

Jimmy Dean Biscuit Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich

Jimmy Dean Biscuit Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich are small sandwiches made with little interest in grammar. It's hard to believe these are a whole 410 Calories given that i think I could eat eight of them in one sitting. 

If you eat one of these like I did with vegetables and fruit it's not that bad for you but be sure to cook them longer than the 90 second that the package suggests. 

Eating these little things will kill you but what won't now days?

El Montery Mexi Sliders Egg, Cheese + Sausage

El Montery Mexi Sliders Egg, Cheese + Sausage look like a good idea until you get hot cheese on your hands. These things are a mess and they are in no way filling so if you are hoping to have them as a quick meal before running out of the house you're going to be disappointed. 

They do have a hint of Jalapeno to give them a Mexican flavor, but the Pentagon shape really screws the illusion, and I think they would be less of a mess as a burrito.  

Fail if you ask me. 

Fence Line Farm Hot Italian Style Uncured Cooked Chicken Sausage

Fence Line Farm Hot Italian Style Uncured Cooked Chicken Sausage are a reasonably spice addition to my table. I cannot say these are hot enough to be used as a major sores of flavor, but they are strong enough to do the job. 

These things are about as healthy as sausage is going to be so long as it's made of meat and salt. That's kind of what sausage is made of. I will note that the ingredients are things that I've heard of and can get at the store. 

So, well, good job. 

Fence Line Farms Three Cheese Uncured Cooked Chicken Sausage

Fence Line Farms Three Cheese Uncured Cooked Chicken Sausages are disgusting. Cheese may be fine on a sausage but it is not fine in a sausage. The result is a hard to cook link that gets slimy inside. 

Now I will grant that these are individualy rapped and easy to open. They keep well, and last a long time, but that doesn't make up for the tasteless gloppy nature and the pain in your gut after eating these. 

What these need are more herbs and less cheese. That said, I got another flavor of these so I'll try them soon.

Sbarro Sausage, Pepperoni and Bacon Stromboli is on the bland side for haveing sausage. I will point out that this food cries "Merica" before getting grease on your shirt and jumping down your face making you want more. 

Art's Burgers Sausage Breakfast Burrito

Art's Burgers in El Monte California serves a good number of choices when it comes to breakfast burritos, and I think I'm almost half way through them. Well, the sausage burrito is made with a soft fatty sausage with a minimal amount of spice. You can ask for salsa in yours and I would unless you don't like salsa.

For me, I'm not a big fan of soft sausage. I cook mine until it's crisp but that takes longer and you just can't do that with folks waiting. Anyway, this is better than some options but still not the best.  

McDonald's Sausage Egg McMuffin

The Sausage Egg McMuffin is the king of all fast food breakfast sandwiches. Every time I eat one I feel some of my soul dying because I know how the workers that make them are treated. 

These things are like crack for your mouth(I know nothing about crack), but I love these as much as I love to hate them.

El Monterey Egg, Sausage, Cheese & Potato Burritos

El Monterey Egg, Sausage, Cheese & Potato Burritos are nasty. I had one with under cooked potatoes and one that was just rotten. On the other hand, my brother ate a whole bag of these in like two days. 

I can't stand them, but he loved them.  

Panera Bread Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

The Panera Bread Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich is one thing you can get from Panera Bread. However, the sausage is not properly cooked. It tastes like it's been made in a microwave rather than a grill making it bland and soft. 

It does have more heft than the more poplar Sausage sandwich from other places but it is so bland that eating it is like watching Sharknado when you want to see Jaws. 

Digiorno Pizzeria Thin Spicy Sausage and Provolone Pizza

Digiorno Pizzeria Thin Spicy Sausage and Provolone Pizza...now that is a lot of name. As far as what this is like, well, it's okay. I don't care for the tomatoes on top.

I can say that this pizza is okay. It is better seasoned then some and the square shape makes for less wasted space.
