Subway Sandwiches Footlong Chocolate Chip Cookies

 Subway Sandwiches Chocolate Chip Cookies is a flavorless thing that you need a lot of milk to eat. I'm still a big fat dude and ate the whole thing in under four hours, but I felt bad after doing it and would never get this again.

Deli Fresh Mild Cheddar

Deli Fresh Mild Cheddar is mild and hard. I don’t know if  I go a bad bag of this discount cheese, but I can say that it is harder than other cheddar I’ve eaten. I’m not saying it’s bad but I did notice it more in my mouth which would take some getting used to.

 

Christy's Donuts Croissant Donut

 The Croissant Donut at Christy's Donuts in Hacienda Heights is an interesting thing to try. It's kind of like a glazed croissant. It's got more heft then it would have as a normal doughnut and more texture. 

Now, this thing has to be more sugar than a normal doughnut but I like the fact that it's just got more too it.  It's more filling that way. 

Subway Sandwiches Cheddar Cheese Dip

 Subway Sandwiches Cheddar Cheese Dip was a cheese like thing. I have never looked into cheese dip because it has always been one of those things that I don't care for but there is a lot of cheese that can't be sold as cheese because we have a legal definition of cheese.

This taste like sharp cheddar. It's okay but cheese dip isn't my thing. 

Bum Energy Dr. Bum

Bum Energy was on my wish list until someone, Mike, got them for me and Dr. Bum was the first flavor I broke into. The stuff is just way too rich. I mean, this didn’t remind me of Dr. Pepper but rather tasted like it was way over saturated with fake sugar.

I can’t say I didn’t like it to be sure but I do have to say that like any energy drink I need to drink these in moderation.

 

RXBAR Chocolate Sea Salt Protein Bar

 RXBars are a thing you can get in sampler pack so I figured I'd try a few. This one is the Chocolate Sea Salt which taste like chocolate all right but there isn't much see salt. To be fair, if you eat healthy the salt will come out, but we Americans have so much salt in our diet that the amount they put in this is just lost. 

All in all, this was fine. I mean, it was meant to taste okay and be healthy not taste good and be bad for you.  

7-Select Birthday Cake Snack Pie

 7-Select Birthday Cake Snack Pies are an odd bird. I like them but they taste like they're filled with icing rather than pudding like normal snack pies. 

I've been really hitting the 7-Elevens because it was reported that they're going under and I'd like that not to happen. 

Of all the snack pies you can get at a gas station I do think these are the best. Good? Meh, but the best. 

Red Bull Pink Edition Wild Berries Energy Drink

 Red Bull Pink Edition is a Wild Berries flavor that is a randomly berry as berry can be. It tastes like it came out of a lab and it’s not even pink. This stuff is red if I ever saw it, but then it is called Red Bull for a reason.

 

It’s not a bad flavor. I’d say it’s better than the original, but not the best I ever had.

 

D-Plus Baked Wheat Cake- Chocolate

 Whenever D-Plus appears at my local market I buy three of every flavor they have because I love their Baked Wheat Cakes. Their Chocolate flavor was just a little too subtle for me.

Now, it was still good and I ate all three of them faster than I should have but they didn't taste like chocolate which was the problem.

Not bad but not what it should have been.

Warheads Sour Blue Raspberry Soda

Warheads Sour Blue Raspberry Soda is like Blue Raspberry soda with a Granny Smith crisp to go with it. I grant I would never drink this, but it is something of a novelty. 

If you like sour you will love this. I find it to be too little for what you pay, but I've never been a big fan of sour. 
 

7-Select Snack Pie Boston Cream

 7-Select Snack Pie Boston Cream shows up at my local 7-Eleven and to be honest, it's nothing to write home about. I'm no big fan of Boston Cream but this is not a popular flavor for a reason. 

Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with this pie. It just isn't as good as the real thing. This sad shadow will leave you wanting. 

Snack pies are never really good. They are so bad for you and something you eat when you have little other options. I would recommend you never eat these unless you need to gain weight and preserve your remains.  

Not bad, just not good, and very bad for you.  

Monster Energy Ultra Fiesta Mango

Monster Energy Ultra Fiesta Mango... Why is the can blue? I mean, what is fiesta mango anyway, but is it blue?

This is just mango. I guess they had to add some fiesta in there to make it sound better but fiesta tastes like tequila, salt, and bad decisions. 

Then again, tequila and bad decisions tastes the same to me. 

Anyway, this stuff is just mango. It tastes okay for sugar free mango and I'm going to drink them all because I'm working sixteen hour shifts.  
 

Mountain Dew Soda Spark Raspberry Lemonade

Mountain Dew Spark is the kind of thing that makes me miss normal Mountain Dew. It is a far cry from the original. Raspberry Lemonade isn’t that great to start with then add carbonic acid and caffeine. It’s just wrong.

I don't know why Dew has been adding Raspberry to everything as of late but I wish they would stop. It feels like I'm getting the Raspberry. 

Stick to the original, and give this a pass. 

7-Select Snack Pie Lemon Crème

 7-Select Lemon Crème Snack Pie was at my local 7-Eleven. I don't try every pie at a gas station. 

Stop looking at me like that, I don't, I don't like apple pie!

Anyway, this isn't strong in the flavor of lemon and to be honest most of these things don't have real lemon anyway. It says natural flavors but that doesn't mean lemons.

In any case, I've never been a big fan of lemon pie and normally it comes with meringue. I will say that this was fine. If you like lemon but don't love lemon this will lemon you enough. 

Not a big thing to try but if these pies are your thing this one is fine.  

Guan's King Oyster Mushrooms

Guan is the funny mushroom people and their King Oyster Mushrooms where on sale at my local discount market and I picked up three packs of the things. They are tougher than normal mushrooms and best boiled over fried.

I don’t know what I expected but I guess Oyster has something to do with the shape.

I wouldn’t call these good eating. I would more call these things that I would eat had I no other mushrooms about. If you want a texture to your mushrooms then these are your bag but I wouldn’t call them all that better than the ones I get at Costco. 

 

Takis Waves Dragon Sweet Chili

Takis Waves Dragon Sweet Chili chips are hot enough to put me off without having any sweet flavor that I could detect. I honestly tossed these into the compost pile after trying them because they just didn't appeal to me. 

I think Takis is kind of a love it or hate it company. Me, I've never tried anything from them I liked but I keep trying their chips for some reason. 

Dandy's Donuts Blended Green Tea

 Dandy's Donuts in Bellflower California has Blended Green Tea which is a good way to get something cold into you in the summer heat. It isn't as strong as a metcha but I would say this was a solid mild cold drink.

Not bad really.

Sparkling Ice Spiked Grapefruit Splash Hard Seltzer

 Sparkling Ice Spiked Grapefruit Splash Hard Seltzer is so mildly alcoholic that you hardly know you're drinking something with alcohol in it. 

After that it's a solid grapefruit beverage. I'm not the biggest fan of grapefruit drinks but this one is very much like the real deal. 

I would say this is good enough to drink.

Bum Energy Grape

 Bum Energy Grape is a bit too rich for me. I think it tastes like grape candy that his been liquefied and turned into soda. I would need to mix this with something a bit milder to balance it out. I can’t say I dislike the flavor but I can say that there is to much of it to go round. As far as Bum goes this is my least favorite flavor but it is still drinkable.

Dandy's Donuts Ham and Cheese Croissant

 When I walked into Dandy's Donuts in Bellflower California the Ham and Cheese Croissants were fresh and so I had one. They look a bit odd but are big and filling for what they are. 

I'll grant you that I haven't been big on the old Ham and Cheese since high school and couldn't say if I've had one since, but this was good. 

I would get another if I come down their way.
