Don't go thinking at SunChips are health food. They may be better for you than some chips but they are still a whole lot of carbs.
Their French Onion flavor appears to be named after French Onion soup. French Onion soup is beef broth with caramelized onion topped with a crusty old bread that has cheese on it.
These chips have onion flavor. I wouldn't say they taste much like the soup but I don't think I ever had the soup. Still sounds so much better than these, but they're okay.
Truth this that I think they added the French in there just to make it sound cool but sweet onion is a little closer to the truth.
The chips are not my thing, but I figure the worst part is that the name is dumb.
