Warheads Sour Grape Soda

Warheads Sour Grape Soda doesn't taste like grape. Smells like grape candy all right, but the flavor of grape is rather lost and it is sour but not too sour.

I've never been a fan of these sodas, mind you, or Warheads in general now that I think of it. Yet, I have to admit that this is a high end soda with real sugar. 

With a price tag rivaling Monster Energy, Warheads Soda is not the kind of thing you have every day. It's an interesting flavor if nothing else, and I'd never trade it for a good old coke, but it is worth trying if you like sour things. 

Honestly, I wouldn't get more but then just not my kind of thing to start with.  
 

Hostess Apple Cinnamon Fritter Rings

Hostess Apple Cinnamon Fritter  Rings are a lesser known Hostess offering for a reason. I don't think there is any apple in there and I can't taste cinnamon. They don't take well to coffee either.

I have to admit that these are the kind of thing you buy when on sale, eat because your a fat blob like me, and never think much about again.  

They're almost apple flavored and may be an apple fritter to those who have never had one. I'll grant that I don't like apple fritters, but I know these are not much like them. 

Fail. 
 

Bar S Pepperoni

Bar S Pepperoni is like anything Bar S and not great but economical. It will get the job done for the less discerning pallet but they will do the job. I would call them thin and under seasoned. Some people like that, and I have to say that I finished both bags, but I wouldn’t go getting more if there were other options.   

 

ICEE Cherry Creme Filled Sandwich Cookies

ICEE Cherry Creme Filled Sandwich Cookies sound like an abomination. Who looks at cherry flavored ice slush and says "I want to make that into a cookie"? 

They taste alright, to be honest, I mean, I wouldn't get them again because I'm fat and they're not great but I don't mind them. If you get these for your kids they'll love them but they just don't go that well with coffee. 
 

M&M's Peanut Butter Cinnamon Roll

M&M's Peanut Butter Cinnamon Roll is one of those flavors that sat in my refrigerator for months before I finally had them with coffee. I think these are good, to be honest. 

I could have lived without the cinnamon but it may be what brings out the chocolate and the peanut butter hits the spot nicely.  

I can't eat candy like I used to. Getting old stinks. Rarely do I miss the days of binging on candy like I did back in my 20's. This brings me back to that time to be honest. I mean, yeah, they're a bit busy but worth trying.

Carl's Jr. Spicy Chicken Maxx

Carl's Jr.'s Spicy Chicken Maxx is a big sandwich. It's not a good sandwich but a big one. Where to even start with this thing?

Carl's Jr. uses a food grade plastic in their buns so the crush under the weight of the food. Those buns are bad and I don't care for them.

This comes with two kind of cheese with its two microwave level chicken patties. There is lettuce, tomato, pickle, and mayonnaise. 

Truth is, this isn't bad. It has a flavor worth the price even if it's of low quality. You get a big sandwich. You also have to swallow your self respect to eat it, but it's okay. 
 

Tapatio Ramen Noodle Soup Shrimp Flavor

Tapatio Ramen Noodle Soup Shrimp Flavor is a Mexican take on Ramen. There are no shrimp to be found in this product but it does kind of taste like death and despair. 

There is a lot of salt in this which is expected of Ramen but this isn't hot enough to make this interesting and the broth holds all the flavor. 

A cup of this will get your nose running like most Ramen will, but don't think this will change your world. It's just Ramen and not great as Ramen goes. 
 

Carr's Cracked Pepper Table Water Crackers

Carr's Cracked Pepper Table Water Crackers hadn't as much pepper as I thought they would have. I mean, I've had these kind of crackers and they normally have more pepper. Then again, crackers should be neutral. 

Anyway, if you want your party to look swanky then these crackers will do the job. Not as good as Ritz but different vibe.  
 

Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli

Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli is the kind of thing I ran into working at the homeless shelter. It's something you can eat out of the can, flip top lid, and almost looks good for you. 

Can't taste the beef. Can't feel the beef in your mouth. Not sure there is beef but there was brown stuff in those things so I guess. 

Truth is, this is flavorless cold and not much better hot, but you can normally get a can for under two dollars. Poor people food as poor people as you can get without being government issue. 
 

Subway Sandwiches Footlong Chocolate Chip Cookies

 Subway Sandwiches Chocolate Chip Cookies is a flavorless thing that you need a lot of milk to eat. I'm still a big fat dude and ate the whole thing in under four hours, but I felt bad after doing it and would never get this again.

Deli Fresh Mild Cheddar

Deli Fresh Mild Cheddar is mild and hard. I don’t know if  I go a bad bag of this discount cheese, but I can say that it is harder than other cheddar I’ve eaten. I’m not saying it’s bad but I did notice it more in my mouth which would take some getting used to.

 

Christy's Donuts Croissant Donut

 The Croissant Donut at Christy's Donuts in Hacienda Heights is an interesting thing to try. It's kind of like a glazed croissant. It's got more heft then it would have as a normal doughnut and more texture. 

Now, this thing has to be more sugar than a normal doughnut but I like the fact that it's just got more too it.  It's more filling that way. 

Subway Sandwiches Cheddar Cheese Dip

 Subway Sandwiches Cheddar Cheese Dip was a cheese like thing. I have never looked into cheese dip because it has always been one of those things that I don't care for but there is a lot of cheese that can't be sold as cheese because we have a legal definition of cheese.

This taste like sharp cheddar. It's okay but cheese dip isn't my thing. 

Bum Energy Dr. Bum

Bum Energy was on my wish list until someone, Mike, got them for me and Dr. Bum was the first flavor I broke into. The stuff is just way too rich. I mean, this didn’t remind me of Dr. Pepper but rather tasted like it was way over saturated with fake sugar.

I can’t say I didn’t like it to be sure but I do have to say that like any energy drink I need to drink these in moderation.

 

RXBAR Chocolate Sea Salt Protein Bar

 RXBars are a thing you can get in sampler pack so I figured I'd try a few. This one is the Chocolate Sea Salt which taste like chocolate all right but there isn't much see salt. To be fair, if you eat healthy the salt will come out, but we Americans have so much salt in our diet that the amount they put in this is just lost. 

All in all, this was fine. I mean, it was meant to taste okay and be healthy not taste good and be bad for you.  

7-Select Birthday Cake Snack Pie

 7-Select Birthday Cake Snack Pies are an odd bird. I like them but they taste like they're filled with icing rather than pudding like normal snack pies. 

I've been really hitting the 7-Elevens because it was reported that they're going under and I'd like that not to happen. 

Of all the snack pies you can get at a gas station I do think these are the best. Good? Meh, but the best. 

Red Bull Pink Edition Wild Berries Energy Drink

 Red Bull Pink Edition is a Wild Berries flavor that is a randomly berry as berry can be. It tastes like it came out of a lab and it’s not even pink. This stuff is red if I ever saw it, but then it is called Red Bull for a reason.

 

It’s not a bad flavor. I’d say it’s better than the original, but not the best I ever had.

 

D-Plus Baked Wheat Cake- Chocolate

 Whenever D-Plus appears at my local market I buy three of every flavor they have because I love their Baked Wheat Cakes. Their Chocolate flavor was just a little too subtle for me.

Now, it was still good and I ate all three of them faster than I should have but they didn't taste like chocolate which was the problem.

Not bad but not what it should have been.

Warheads Sour Blue Raspberry Soda

Warheads Sour Blue Raspberry Soda is like Blue Raspberry soda with a Granny Smith crisp to go with it. I grant I would never drink this, but it is something of a novelty. 

If you like sour you will love this. I find it to be too little for what you pay, but I've never been a big fan of sour. 
 

7-Select Snack Pie Boston Cream

 7-Select Snack Pie Boston Cream shows up at my local 7-Eleven and to be honest, it's nothing to write home about. I'm no big fan of Boston Cream but this is not a popular flavor for a reason. 

Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with this pie. It just isn't as good as the real thing. This sad shadow will leave you wanting. 

Snack pies are never really good. They are so bad for you and something you eat when you have little other options. I would recommend you never eat these unless you need to gain weight and preserve your remains.  

Not bad, just not good, and very bad for you.
