The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Bacon, Egg &Cheese English Muffin Sandwiches

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Bacon, Egg &Cheese English Muffin Sandwich is something out of a microwave so far as I can tell. I mean, it's not bad for something out of a microwave but it's still microwave kind of food. 

It's the kind of thing one would want to get over a hangover for sure. I mean, strong coffee and some bacon, egg, and cheese will go a long way to getting you back on your feet. Still needs tomato juice or something to get you out of that feeling. 
 

McDonald's Quarter Pounder with Bacon

 Just getting my hands on a McDonald's Quarter Pounder with Bacon was harder than I thought it would be. First I got one and it didn't have bacon. I mean, what was the point there? 

Anyway, I found this to be about as good as the original. Maybe a little bit less. The bacon really did little to add to the overall burger. 

It will kill you just a bit faster, but it won't taste all that much better.

Wendy’s Cobb Salad

 

I can say that the Cobb Salad at Wendy’s is just about bursting with chicken, cheese, bacon, and egg. There may have been some Cobb in there but it was rather hard to find. It was also free of onions so I have to say it was my kind of salad even as it was not all that salad like now that I think of it.

Being a big fat man I’m not into salad and I’ve eaten a good many of them. I’ve made a good many of them as well but we won’t talk about that.

All in all, good product. I would get this again.

 

Starbucks Bacon, Gouda & Egg Sandwich

 Starbucks' Bacon, Gouda & Egg Sandwich is missing its Oxford comma. It isn't large and will leave you wanting more, but then you just got a five dollar drink didn't you?

Coffee can make you fat so this sandwich is under four hundred calories. It's not bad but didn't stand out to me.

Mcdonald's Bacon Ranch Deluxe McCrispy

 Mcdonald's Bacon Ranch Deluxe McCrispy was a mess in a box. If it wasn't for the box I would have thought they had just dumped the parts in the bag and called it good. 

The idea isn't bad. I mean, for 660 Calories its an okay sandwich but the bacon kind of got lost and the ranch didn't really add much. 

Meh, golden arches just doesn't do it for me any more.

Garrett Valley Farms Sugar Free Dry Rubbed Bacon

 Growing up as a Reform Jew my mother never shied away from bacon. She never cooked it either because the poor woman never really learned how to cook. I still have to cook it when naked to keep from burning it myself.

Yeah, that's a trick, if you feel the bacon popping the heat is too high. You want it crisp not burnt. Now if I can only get a handle on cracking an egg one handed.

Anyway, Garrett Valley Farms Sugar Free Dry Rubbed Bacon tastes like bacon. I like to keep this around to use up the vegan burgers I buy for this blog. Nothing spices up a vegan burger like some bacon grease. I know that defeats the point but those vegan burgers can really be bad.

Anyway, this bacon tastes like bacon. Who knew?

 

Green Giant Veggie Rings Cauliflower Bacon Three Cheese

Green Giant Veggie Rings Cauliflower Bacon Three Cheese is not as great as it sounds. The whole 'cheese' and 'bacon' parts are undetectable leaving you with breaded cauliflower.  

This tastes like breading so it's unoffensive and if you're hungry you'll eat it. I wouldn't get these again, because they aren't that great, but if they fool you into thinking your eating something good for you then by all means.
 

Amylu Sriracha Honey Uncured Chicken Bacon

 Amylu Sriracha Honey Uncured Chicken Bacon is not bacon. I mean, you would never think this was bacon. It tastes like sausage and it's not bad at all, but it's still not bacon. 

I think this stuff is not bad. I would recommend that you try it. It may not be bacon but it's a fine thing to put in your sandwich.

Jack's Original Thin Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza

 Jack's Original Thin Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza is made with the wrong cheese, too little meat, and tends to leave you shrugging as to what you just ate. 

The bacon isn't noticeable, the burger meat is also not noticeable. I mean, you would do better with cheese pizza. 

Frankly, I think cheeseburger pizza is just "I was too cheap to buy sausage" but the meat chunks need to be a little bigger to make them work. Also, wit cheese in the name you would think there would be more of it.

This is so meh it is hard to understand how it can have failed so hard.

Norms Classic Breakfast Sandwich

 I ordered the Norms Classic Breakfast Sandwich, but I'm not sure that's what I got given that the classic comes with bacon, sausage, or ham, and I got all three. 

A friend was paying, and it was the cheapest thing on the menu. I mean, I don't like spending other people's money. 

 Anyway, this is a great hangover cure if you spent a night drinking. Have it with loads of ketchup, and it will fix you right up. It was big for a breakfast sandwich and yet not that bad of a deal. Very filling.

Hormel Black Label Maple Black Pepper Thick Cut Bacon

 Hormel Black Label Maple Black Pepper Thick Cut Bacon has a long name. I hate long names. Why would you complicate bacon with so long a name. It tastes like bacon. Isn't that good enough?

Make this stuff and your kitchen will smell like maple. It will not taste like maple, but who wants bacon or their kitchen to taste like maple?

Bryan Sweet Hickory Smoked Bacon

 Bryan Sweet Hickory Smoked Bacon tastes like Bacon. I don't taste any Bryan at all and the sweet hickory is undetectable. Then again, what does Bryan taste like? I mean, have you ever eaten a Bryan, because I haven't.

I still don't taste any hickory. I at least know what that tastes like. That leaves this at just tasting like bacon and most people like bacon so I'm not sure adding flavors to bacon is the right thing to do. 

Prego Bacon Flavored Alfredo Sauce

Prego Bacon Flavored Alfredo Sauce is disappointing even for something that is just flavored. Bacon Alfredo sounds awesome. It's really too bad that this not Bacon Alfredo. It is Alfredo. I don't taste bacon, I don't feel bacon, I don't even smell bacon.   

If you want the real deal make some bacon and add it to Alfredo, and leave this stuff on the shelf, because it will let you down. 

Banquet Mega Deep Dish Bacon Mac 'N Cheese

Banquet Mega Deep Dish Bacon Mac 'N Cheese is like the chicken only with less flavor. I mean, these have too little bacon for the bacon to bacon and so you're left with a Mac 'N Cheese pie.

Ask yourself if you want a Mac 'N Cheese pie and after you say yes you should try one of these. They honestly come out better after you microwave them.

Adaptable Meals Boneless Pork Loin Fillet Sauteed Mushrooms and Bacon Flavor worries me because of that word 'flavor'. It generally means that it's not made of what you say they are.

I made one of these and found that they were salty and soft with little of the meat getting stuck in my teeth. These are not bad but only buy at a good price. 

Devour Lasagna Alfredo with Bacon & Sausage

Devour Lasagna Alfredo with Bacon & Sausage is the kind of thing I see at the market and want to get, because I feel bad. It totaly looks nothing like lasagna out of the oven but to be honest tastes like it and that's good enough for me.

This is not to say that it's Italian lasagna. No, it's the bland American kind, but I love it just the same. It could be more meaty and bad for you but for what it is this is killer stuff.  

Man Cave Craft Eats: Bacon, Beer & Cheddar Cheese Bratwursts

Man Cave makes some great Bratwurst, but you need to be ready for these Bacon, Beer & Cheddar Cheese variety with some more beer to cut the fat. I mean, these are the heaviest bratwurst I've ever eaten. 

I never did care for cheese in sausage because it takes longer to cook. The bacon aspect is sum what lost as well given that you can't crisp bacon in a sausage.

If you want something different this will fit the bill, but I have had better things by Man Cave.

Galaxy Burger

Galaxy Burger is a small chain of burger restaurants that inhabits southern California. Their thing is the Galaxy Burger an avocado bacon burger house stile that will do the job for you. Vary modern. 

Yeah, you can get these anywhere, but they just wouldn't be as cool. 

Ted's Famous Burger

Over at Ted's Burgers in Anaheim you can get a Ted's Famous Burger which oddly contains no amount of person named Ted. In fact all you have here is a double cheeseburger with bacon and avocado. 

The real meatyniss of this burger is hard to come close to so if you want to know what cow tastes like have one. I sure did and it kicked clown ass from here to the burger King's castle.

Burger King Bacon King

The Bacon King by Burger King isn't all that bacony to be honest. If it were just a bacon whopper I'd be more into the idea but adding 'King' implies that this is the king of bacon burgers, and that's just not true. 

I'm not saying it was bad I'm just not saying it's the king of bacon.
