 Garrett Valley Farms Smoked Turkey Kielbasa does not have the oil of normal kielbasa but it has all the flavor and texture. I have to say this is a great product and will make it's place on your plate. It's at least as good as any kielbasa and better for you, because you can use olive oil which is believed to have a positive impact on health.

Garrett Valley Farms Smoked Polska Kielbasa is antibiotic free so I guess it's hippy meat. It tastes as good as any Kielbasa I've had. I think that's a win. The bar is set kind of low for hippy food, because if it just tastes like food then you can live a better life without harming the world we live on. 

I got a mess of these for a low price, because they had been a production overrun and the store had to get rid of them. I can't imagine why because this is good stuff.

 Growing up as a Reform Jew my mother never shied away from bacon. She never cooked it either because the poor woman never really learned how to cook. I still have to cook it when naked to keep from burning it myself.

Yeah, that's a trick, if you feel the bacon popping the heat is too high. You want it crisp not burnt. Now if I can only get a handle on cracking an egg one handed.

Anyway, Garrett Valley Farms Sugar Free Dry Rubbed Bacon tastes like bacon. I like to keep this around to use up the vegan burgers I buy for this blog. Nothing spices up a vegan burger like some bacon grease. I know that defeats the point but those vegan burgers can really be bad.

Anyway, this bacon tastes like bacon. Who knew?
