Sheboygan Mild Italian Sausage will last for a long time if kept cold because it is so salty that most things can't eat it. It is also good to make cuts along the sausage to let the thing cook.
I can taste the herbs, but the salt covers them for the most part. This is a beer drinkers sausage for sure. It would be good to have a beer to mellow out all that salt after eating a few links of this sausage.
Now I better go eat a salad or something to get all that salt out of my system.
