Del Taco Del Beef Burrito

 The Del Taco Del Beef Burrito is my go-to for a Del Taco order. Mostly this is because it’s got nothing that will make me sick. I almost never order any other burrito, but then I’ve never really looked at the menu. You’re Dell Beef Burrito could use more cheese. The beef is some low-quality stuff that hardly feels like beef and every now and then you get a bit that just will not chew down.

Still, in the world of bottom quality fast food this is a good burrito. I get them all the time and I will get them again.

El Monterey Shredded Steak and Three Cheese Burrito

El Monterey Shredded Steak and Three Cheese Burrito is underwhelming. I mean, as burritos go it has very little meat and is fine eating. You can see I had two of them. Still, it didn't have much in the way of meat and the cheese was more beans than anything else. 

If you want a burrito these are a quick thing to reach for, but a pale  version of a the real deal.

RC Burgers (South Gate) Burrito

Burritos at RC Burger in South Gate come with a number of fillings as well as salsa and guacamole. I can't have raw onion so it got me sick but tasted good. 

 

Mr. Giant California Beef Burrito with Red Sauce

On historic Whittier Boulevard in Whittier's historic uptown you can find 'Mr. Giant' a small Mexican diner that serves this burrito. This is their California Burrito with Beef and Red Sauce to be clear and its stuffed with Beef, rice, beans, french fries, and the like. This has onion in it and where as normally onions make me sick these onions were sweet and mild.  

I have to say I will be trying other things at Mr. Giant but I recommended this to people because it's a good deal and good food.

Tina's Bean and Cheese Burritos

Tina's Bean and Cheese Burritos are not bean and cheese burritos. They are bean burritos, because I can't taste any cheese in there. You really need to add some flavor to these because they are rather bland. 

I will also need to point out that there were uncooked bean fragments in these that you wind up chewing on. All and all, these are the bean equivalent of white bread. Could be they have a good amount of fiber but these will keep you alive rather than make you feel satisfied.  

We should send these to starving people. 

Art's Burgers Big John Breakfast Burrito

Art's Burgers "Big John" Breakfast Burrito is stuffed with ham, sausage and bacon. It is all the meats you can get together and I found it salty. 

Yeah, if you're a big meat eater this is for you, but for me I'm still going with the bacon option. It suits me best. 

Art's Burgers Sausage Breakfast Burrito

Art's Burgers in El Monte California serves a good number of choices when it comes to breakfast burritos, and I think I'm almost half way through them. Well, the sausage burrito is made with a soft fatty sausage with a minimal amount of spice. You can ask for salsa in yours and I would unless you don't like salsa.

For me, I'm not a big fan of soft sausage. I cook mine until it's crisp but that takes longer and you just can't do that with folks waiting. Anyway, this is better than some options but still not the best.  

Art's Burgers Large Egg and Cheese Burrito

Art's Burger Large Egg and Cheese Burrito are a plain way to start your day. They could really use more cheese. If you're going to get one remember that you can spice it up with salsa, potatoes, or three kinds of meat. Other than that, these are perfect for people with sensitive guts. 

Wienerschnitzel French Fries Burrito

Wienerschnitzel French Fries Burritos are the perfect food for people who love eating in their car. 

This staid in the burrito and was about as good as what you get at Wienerschnitzel. 

I have to say I like these, they're not as good as corn dogs but I like them.  

Ray's Tepeyac Shredded Beef Burrito

Ray's Tepeyac's 'Shredded Beef Burrito' defeats the idea of a burrito by covering it with slime. This is a burrito that you need to eat with a knife and fork which is an idea I just can't get my head around. I used the chips they give you to take chunks out of this monster.

Taste wise I would say this is solid but the problem was all the not beef stuff took away from the beef. There was green in that burrito, and I didn't like it. 

Guerrero 12" Tortillas De Harina Burrito

I need big tortillas to make my snack wraps for work and these fit the bill. It's a little on the hard side for me to figure out how to show you what my lunch looks like for work, but that thing in the background is water in a thermos.

Anyway, these Guerrero Tortillas are on the hard side and rip easily. Other than that, they get the job done. Kind of high in Calories, but big tortillas have to be. 

Montecito Burrito Size 12" Flour Tortillas

So, I got the idea that I would wrap up a salad in one of these and take it to work. Other than the saturated fat these are as good for you as big tortillas can be I guess.

They do the job but past that are almost nothingness. 

Taco Bell Bean and Cheese Burrito

 Come on Taco Bell, why did you have to over complicate a Bean and Cheese Burrito? The beans and cheese are fine but the wet flavorless onions that add nothing but a strange crunch to the mix just don't need to be there. 

 If you didn't add them or the bad sauce this would be a much better burrito. 

Keep it simple and let the customer make it what they want.
