 Crider Premium White Chicken in Water is one of those things you buy because you know you should eat salad, but you never really will. Canned meat is great for salad. 

It turn out that my cats love this so much they will give me no peace as I eat my salad and so I ended up feeding it to them. Well, a few extra cans of it anyway. 

Yeah, this works great for salad ... if you can ward off the cats. 

Riceland Rice N' Easy Thai Curry Coconut

Neither curry nor coconut come through in this Riceland Rice N' Easy Thai Curry Coconut rice which is a shame because those are great flavors. I love Thai food, I don't eat much of it any more because I don't dine out as much as I used to, but I love Thai food and their use of curry and peanut butter has always been something I really admired. 

This is bland for a curry dish and is something you should eat only if you normally have to work your way up to curry.  Curry can really shock the system if you don't eat it on the regular. 

This rice really needs more curry, and some coconut wouldn't hurt. 

Gold Star Hamburger Ham

Out of the can and off the grill a lice of ham at Gold Star Hamburger in Glendale California has an earthy flavor in a down home, I got it from the store, kind of way. 

I have to say that I really like Gold Star Hamburgers, but I think them ham is just so-so. Next time I'll try the sausage.
 

Nonni's Limoncello Biscotti

For you lemon lovers out there Nonni's Limoncello Biscotti is the seasonal thing for you. I found these on the strong side, but I have a lemon loving friend who said these were some of the best biscotti he ever had. 

I have to say that if coffee and biscotti tickle your fancy then these are a must try. Biscotti is not very good without coffee, and these biscotti are best had with sweet iced coffee. Oh, that sounds so good.
 

Piccinini Pesto & Lemon Zest Ravioli

Piccinini Pesto & Lemon Zest Ravioli has no taste of pesto or lemon zest. I have to ask how much of these ingredients were used. American food is salt and butter but Italian food should be herbs. I don't know how much salt they use but they use herbs to flavor things and American food has always been bland by comparison. 

I was expecting so much flavor from this, and I was let down so badly. 
 

Hungry Buddha Super Seeds Coconut Clusters

 Hungry Buddha Super Seeds Coconut Clusters are an odd alternative to chips. Sweet and crunchy, they are not as filling as they are fulfilling. I think I like these things, but I could eat three or four bags so I would eat them with an apple or something. 

Also, you get some coconut in your teeth. Anyway, trying this is a good idea. 

Rockstar Recovery Lemonade

 Rockstar Recovery Lemonade will not recover you from a bad hangover. It tastes like diet lemonade with artificial nuances. I have to say that as far as Rockstar goes this will not give you the massive crash from the sugar because it doesn't have as much sugar.  

Past that, it tastes okay.

Prego Creamy Cheddar Cheese Sauce

 Prego Creamy Cheddar Cheese Sauce is a mild cheddar sauce which makes little impact on your noodles over any other sauce you buy. The three or four cheese sauces will have a little more of a flavor.

In short, this is creamy thick and bland with an off putting color and makes us ask why we are putting it on our pasta. It's fine, not great, but fine.

Panda Signature Beef Flavor Ramen Noodle Soup

Panda Signature Beef Flavor Ramen Noodle Soup is more or less basic ramen. I have to say that this stuff is good enough that I when to the store and got more it, but I have so much to do that I love popping one of these in the microwave and munching away.
 

Cracker Barrel Pairing Boards with Havarti Cheese

Cracker Barrel Pairing Boards with Havarti Cheese is a really odd kind of snack tray. The crackers are smaller than the meat there so even as they do go well together they don't really stack. The starch as a food tray is lost in this so you find yourself handling the meat more than normal. 

This is never a good thing in public, but otherwise this is a fine snack. 

 

Gold Star Hamburger Hotcakes

 If you ever find yourself in Glendale California in the early morning you may just run into one of the few restaurants that are open that time of day which is Gold Star Hamburger. In that case, the hotcakes may just be your thing. 

I like to cut an x in mine before adding the syrup to let it sink in. Then I take a big forkful of America and feel the down home vibe of the restaurant. 

The truth is that these are just normal hotcakes and there is little interesting about them. If you like them then they are your thing. What you really go to Gold Star Hamburger for is to feel the vibe of an age past when people worked at fast food places instead of machines. 

Gold Star Hamburger is a very human place, and that, some how, makes the food better.

Wellshire Farms Smoked Fresh Turkey Kielbasa

 Wellshire Farms Smoked Fresh Turkey Kielbasa is as close to the normal variety as it can be. It has less oil so you may need to add some to fry it up right. 

For some reason Kielbasa keeps going on sale which is why I keep reviewing it. So, I would buy this again but I never met a Kielbasa I didn't like.

WOW Baking Co. Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cookies

WOW Baking Co. Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cookies are as not cookies as cookies can be. They aren't sweet, but are rather bland. They are fine with something like ice cream or egg nog but on their own they just taste like nothing. 

They take on the flavor of what you dip them in so take that into account when you buy them. 
 

The Conqueror Chalange 2021

Every year The Conqueror gives you the opportunity to say that you will walk so many miles in one year. Then you walk those miles and, after paying them, you get a thing to hang round your neck.

I would honestly think this was dumb as heck if it were not for the fact that you can plant five trees or keep ten plastic bottles from going into the Ocean by buying this. I paid to have five trees planted with this thing so it really doesn't matter how far I walked, but it's fine to set a goal. From what I understand I can change that goal of I don't reach it so this to me is about trees. 

Now you can't get 2021 any longer, but 2022 is around and it looks nice to hang on your wall or around your neck. Give yourself a goal for the new year and help save the human race. If you don't what would be the point of being healthy?

 Amylu Sriracha Honey Uncured Chicken Bacon is not bacon. I mean, you would never think this was bacon. It tastes like sausage and it's not bad at all, but it's still not bacon. 

I think this stuff is not bad. I would recommend that you try it. It may not be bacon but it's a fine thing to put in your sandwich.

Laird Superfood Turmeric Creamer

 Laird Superfood Turmeric Creamer is a yellow creamer with a mild sweet flavor that will not replace sugar if you normally sugar your coffee. 

In honesty, this is a fine product if you're looking to add turmeric to your diet and I believe that is now a thing. I don't often have curry so this is a good thing to have around.

Campbell's Chunky Beer-n-Cheese with Beef & Bacon

 Campbell's Chunky Beer-n-Cheese with Beef & Bacon is mostly potato soup. I would have liked it better with more vegetables. Also, I couldn't taste any beer, but then I don't know how much beer would last in a soup. 

In any case, this is okay soup. It's not the greatest soup but it's not bad soup.

Alfaro's Artesano Bakery Buns

 Alfaro's Artesano Bakery Buns are of the soft powdery variety. That is all good and well but they get soggy in the refrigerator and don't last well. Fresh they are fine,but once they get old they somehow got wet and turned to goop.   

These are okay buns if you're going to have them in short order. As for me, I had to grill the things to get them to not turn to mush in my hands. 

French's Crispy Fried Onions White Cheddar

 Topping a salad or in a sandwich French's Crispy Fried Onions White Cheddar kick total tail. I have to say that I totally love these things. I don't taste a lot of cheddar but to be honest I don't care.

Idahoan Au Gratin Homestyle Casserole

 Idahoan Au Gratin Homestyle Casserole is the kind of thing that sits in the back of your cabinet and then you make it and ask yourself why you got it in the first place. 

The potatoes are tough and the whole thing just isn't that great. I wouldn't get this again. I didn't know you could screw up potatoes until I had this, but I guess if you work hard enough you can screw up anything.

Trader Joe's Organic Carrots of Many Colors

 Trader Joe's Organic Carrots of Many Colors is one way to add some color to your diet. A colorful diet is a good diet if that color comes from fruit and vegetables. These taste about like one expects from carrots. They were better when I was young. I plan to make these a regular addition to my meals if for no other reason than to make my meals more interesting.

High Liner Power Packed Pollock Burgers

 High Liner Power Packed Pollock Burgers are a fish burger with other stuff in there to make you get up and go then go to the restroom and poop them out. I've had fish burgers that were a good deal more nasty than this so these are, well, okay. Kind of fishy really but what does one expect. 

I can say you shouldn't double these up because the fish taste gets too strong. I thought these were garden burgers when I got them. 

Anyway, you will not be impressed by these but they will fill you up and keep your guts from clogging. I wouldn't get them again, but I wouldn't turn my nose up at them.
 

C&W Petite Brussels Sprouts

 C&W Petite Brussels Sprouts are something you may be looking at to get yourself in summer shape. I can say that I don't like them as much as fresh sprouts but fresh sprouts can't sit in your freezer for years after you forget to cook them.  These are also hard to cut, but then the smaller the sprout the harder to cut they tend to be. 

So, adding this leafy green to your freezer stalk will give you an opportunity to eat healthy. What you do with it is up to you.

Antico Mulino Farfalle Italiane Tre Sapori

 Antico Mulino Farfalle Italiane Tre Sapori tastes like any other pasta. I have to say I like the stuff, and I had it in salad and with sausage. Good stuff really.

Kodiak Cakes Cornbread Power Cup

 For those of you looking to beef up Kodiak Cakes Cornbread Power Cup may sound like a great option. You get a little cup of hot corn bread which is bland and gritty. There is nothing wrong with that but you need to add fruit or vegetables to fill your gut and not stay hungry. 

These don't taste like much which is what they should taste like so you don't go munching on them when what you really need is your parents approval. 

Snapdragon Vietnamese Beef Pho

 Snapdragon Vietnamese Beef Pho tends to clear my nose. I mean it, after eating this I blow my nose, and it's clean, then I can get on with my day. I have to say that I like this stuff. It's not super beef flavored and I would add to it, sure, but it's not bad.

I liked it so much that after trying it I went back to the store and got more.

Campbell's Well Yes! Braised Beef & Black Barley Soup

 Now is the time for soup if global warming hasn't screwed that up for me. Being fat made ice cream bad for me now it's always too hot for soup. Anyway Campbell's Well Yes! soup is the hippy version of their normal death slop. Sadly no hippies were cooked into this Braised Beef & Black Barley Soup. It's till full of sodium like most of their soup, but I think it has more vegetables. It's still not enough vegetables to be really good for you so I would add a few.

The thing about this soup is that if it's better for you than the normal soup you buy then you should buy it and if it isn't you shouldn't. Tastes fine.

Dr. Squatch Area 51 Bricc

 The Dr. Squatch Area 51 Bricc is a fine soap if you can find it as a limited edition product. It doesn't have a strong smell but it really is better for your man bits than more traditional soaps. It brakes down much faster so there is no washing your hands with this or taking it to the gym. Keep it in a wet place for a day or soap and you will likely have a pool of goo. 

It is expensive so keep it dry when not in use and was yourself with it once every other day.  

Snapdragon Singapore - Style Laksa Curry

 Snapdragon Singapore - Style Laksa Curry is drastically lacking in the curry department. I can't taste any curry in this to be honest. That is not to say I disliked it, but when it says curry you expect curry. 

This stuff is fast and gives you a boost in heat to face a cold day ... not that we have those anymore but you get the idea.

Love Crunch Dark Chocolate & Peanut Butter

 I was surprised at how good Love 'Crunch Dark Chocolate & Peanut Butter' granola bars were. I mean, these things kick total tail. I don't know if they will help you kick off that tail, but given that so many of my readers probably have a hangover right now these bars are a great way to get that coffee down and start work for the rest of the day. 

It's a new year, friends, and we all need to get it started. 

Hy-Vee Crispy Rice

 Hy-Vee Crispy Rice is a fine way to get your snap crackle and pop on without paying full price. I know you're thinking 'I have a hangover, why am I reading this right now' but in a few hours you will say 'I should start eating healthy' and this may sound like the answer. 

Yeah, only if you had some fruit really, but this isn't bad so eat up and nurse that hangover.
