Campbell's Well Yes! Braised Beef & Black Barley Soup

Now is the time for soup if global warming hasn't screwed that up for me. Being fat made ice cream bad for me now it's always too hot for soup. Anyway Campbell's Well Yes! soup is the hippy version of their normal death slop. Sadly no hippies were cooked into this Braised Beef & Black Barley Soup. It's till full of sodium like most of their soup, but I think it has more vegetables. It's still not enough vegetables to be really good for you so I would add a few.

The thing about this soup is that if it's better for you than the normal soup you buy then you should buy it and if it isn't you shouldn't. Tastes fine.

Trader Joe's Brown Rice Medley

Trader Joe's Brown Rice Medley is a mix of preboiled long grain brown rice, black barley, and daikon radish seeds. Funny how it only has one kind of brown rice. You would think it would have more brown rice.

Past that this is a solid starch with 5 grams of fiber per serving and 6 grams of protein. It has a texture that would make it easy to distinguished from simple rice even if blindfolded.

I think it's the radish seeds that pop in your mouth when you eat this medley. All in all, this has been on my buy list for some time and I will get it again.
