Premium Cookies

 I think 'Premium Cookies' is a shortbread cookie company, but it was the bran name I could find other than 'Peanuts' which refers to the Charley Brown gang.

As shortbread cookies go these are okay, they don't go well with my coffee, and they come in a small tin that children will like. If you have a Peanuts fan the tins make great keepsakes and children will love to put things in them like school supplies.

I mean, okay, shortbread cookies are a late fall early winter food and this is a spring themed featuring an Easter color.    

The whole thing just exists and were as I'm not interested in it existing I'm not upset that it does. I would rather have better shortbread cookies than this, but this was a buck marked down from two dollars so I can't complain.

Evian+ Mind Sparkling Mineral Enhanced Drink Lime Ginger

 

Evian+ Mind Sparkling Mineral Enhanced Drink Lime Ginger is light on the ginger. I can't really taste it at all. The lime is there for the most part but then how much flavor should there really be in this kind of thing. 

All said, this is great water and very refreshing with no sugar to make me more fat. 

Tillamook Cream Cheese Spread

 Tillamook Cream Cheese Spread has less flavor than the gold standard of Philadelphia Cream Cheese. It is creamier with less of that tart kick. It does not spread as well, but I have to admit that I totally love this stuff. 

Tillamook is a trusted brand and I will get more of this stuff. I will not stop buying my good old Philadelphia. 

have Philadelphia on its own for the full bodied flavor. However, Tillamook is the best for cream cheese with other things.

Danish Choice Apricot Preserves

 Danish Choice Apricot Preserves have the consistency of jello. You can scoop big blobs of this on to your biscuits, but spreading it will take some doing. 

I like to eat this stuff in blob form which now that I think about it feels a little cannibalistic. After all, I am a giant blob. 

Yeah, this stuff is great on a fresh biscuit right out of the oven. I'm not a big fan of preserves but I must admit these are nice.

Go Girl Grapefruit Honeysuckle

 Go Girl Grapefruit Honeysuckle is a member of the go girl family that works but has better sisters. The grapefruit is the most pronounced part. I honestly never had honeysuckle, but I figure it must be sweeter than this. 

Like most Go Girls this is clean and refreshing without too sweet. I drink these in the right moderation, and I can say that whenever go girl comes around to my local store I do buy them. 

I'm a real caffeine hog so these have no kick to me but if you have a healthy diet these are top notch.

Lotte Choco Pie Green Tea

 Lotte Choco Pie Green Tea was so much drier than I thought it would be. I have to admit they didn't have that much flavor for that matter. Crumbs fall off these as you eat them, and don't even try to eat them dry. 

I'm not a fan of this product. If you're some hippy who never has refined sugar this will be fine but for the rest if us disgusting pigs this is flavorless and not worth the added starch. 

Jelly Belly Jelly Beans Cantaloupe

Jelly Belly Jelly Beans Cantaloupe really tastes like cantaloupe. I mean, very good cantaloupe for those of you who like cantaloupe. It will never be as good for you as real cantaloupe, but this is candy, and one should always eat candy in moderation. 

If you're going to eat jelly beans these are jelly beans worth trying. I know I shouldn't eat them, but I'm fat and have no willpower. 
 

Hostess Iced Latte Twinkies Flavored

 The Hostess Twinkies Iced Latte is decadently sweet and made with real sugar. Further it is the best out of all three of the Hostess Lattes I have had. It tastes nothing like Twinkies and may just put me in a diabetic coma, but it is very good. 

Why are all the really good things so bad for you? I hate being fat some times. ... I also hate being poor. 

Oven Baked Lemon Shortbread Cookies

 Oven Baked Lemon Shortbread Cookies have a lemon icing on the bottom. It's not that strong of flavor. I have to admit I think normal shortbread cookies are better than these but with a brand name like 'Oven Baked' you really don't expect much. 

In the levels of good these aren't but or good but just kind of are. They will be a major find for lemon lovers but for the rest of us they will leave us flat.

Bob's Red Mill Homestyle Granola Lemon Blueberry

 Bob's Red Mill Homestyle Granola Lemon Blueberry is as good as it should be. It is not so good as you cannot stop eating it, and it is good enough to be welcome when hungry. 

Granola is often too sugary and so not good for you. This is just good enough. The blueberries add flavor without being overwhelming and the seeds add texture. 

If this where in my bag on a hike I would be happy. I have always trusted Bob's Red Mill, but now that I think of it I should likely look deeper into them as a company. I hear they are a good company to buy from, and their products have never let me down. Still, I should be sure.

I'm a fat dude, I should know where my food comes from.

Alani Peach Sparkling Water

 Alani Peach Sparkling Water has more peach on the can than in the water. I'm not a big fan of peach and I only got this because it was on sale, but there really could be some more peach. 

I guess it smells like peach and you can tell it's not just water, but just not very peach.

Wicked Kitchen Pink Beetroot Pesto Sauce

Given that I look like the blob Wicked Kitchen Pink Beetroot Pesto Sauce sounds like something I wouldn't want to try. Where as this is not as strong as normal pesto, it does have a creamy texture and savory taste. I would say that if you like pasta in general and come across this you should really try this because it is both good and unique. 

I'm regretting not buying more of this even as I have so many things to try. 

DiGiorno Breakfast Croissant Eggs Benedict Style Pizza

 DiGiorno Breakfast Croissant Eggs Benedict Style Pizza could only be more California if you added avocado. The avocado is something you should add after baking because it will not stand the heat well. 

I find this to be an oddly wet pizza. Stuff drips off of it as you eat. Also, the crust is too thick and you wind up pealing some of it away. Not the the crust is bad but it just is too much for one person to eat. 

If you're serving this to your family add a few healthy things and eat the crust. Past that, you should really try this pizza.

Jelly Belly jelly Beans Wild Blackberry

Jelly Belly jelly Beans Wild Blackberry isn't all that wild but blackberries do grow wild and once they take root they're hard to get rid of. 

These taste like Berry and I would say "some kind of berry" had I tasted them not knowing the name. 

You have to ask why they don't just call these Blackberry Jelly Beans. Why add the "wild"? It's because these are Jelly Belly and Jelly Belly are a step above so they need a more important name.

 The Hershey's kiss is likely the most perfect chocolate I have ever had. So how do you improve on that?  You don't! Hershey's Hugs White Chocolate with Creme Valentine Candy are just not as good as the kisses. I mean, they taste fine and I ate too many of them, but they sat around in my refrigerator for months and I weight three hundred and ninety pounds. 

When a blob like me doesn't finish off his chocolate you know it's not that great. 

Marvel Valentine's Spider-Man Gummy Bands

In the world of 'how is this a thing' Marvel Valentine's Spider-Man Gummy Bands fit right in. Unlike, say, a ring-pop as soon as you bite one of these you can't keep in on your wrist so why are they a band? 

For your young child this is a perfect way of saying Valentine's Day is lame, and I like Spider-Man. I guess these count as candy, but they fall flat in that regard.

Sour Patch Kids Lollipops with Sour Candy Dipping Powder

Coming from the idea of dipping your chewing gum in the sour stuff they put on these Sour Patch Kids Lollipops with Sour Candy Dipping Powder are abnormal treats that stand out. Love is bittersweet. 

I honestly think these are something you should try at least once in your life, but I wasn't all that impressed. I only got them because they were on sale, came in a big bag, and would make the trip from Los Angeles to Mexico to give some comfort to the orphans I support. 

Don't think I'm all that great of a guy. I'm sure the orphanage would get along just fine without me. The orphans just wouldn't get as much to eat.

Colombina Tiger Pops Valentine Candy Swirled Heart Love Lollipops Strawberry & Cream Flavor ave a really really long name. Why can't you call them something like Colombina Heart Pops? Anyway, these are kind of generic.

They taste like you would expect strawberry lollipops to taste like. These are a solid fined for children, but not a great idea for your office staff.

 

ZOA Energy White Peach

 ZOA Energy White Peach is rather peachy. I guess that's what it should taste like. It really doesn't feel all that much like a zero sugar drink. It's zero sugar enough to not be as good as something with sugar in it.

I like that fact that this stuff isn't good enough to tempt me. I'm not a peach fan, and this is at it's core a zero sugar energy drink which is something I would normally hate. 

The truth is that this works on a hot day and works to keep the party going at night, and that's what I want in an energy drink.

Jelly Belly Jelly Beans Pomegranate

Jelly Belly Jelly Beans Pomegranate are the more tart verity of jelly bean out there and they taste, to be honest, like grenadine. Grenadine is traditionally made from pomegranates so that why the similarity. 

I will, however, need to point out that this is called pomegranate and not grenadine so the flavor is something of a name fail. I guess they taste like something related to the name but off the mark.

Now all I need is a tequila and an orange jelly bean and I can make a non-alcoholic cocktail.

Milk Bar Strawberry Shortcake Cookies

Milk Bar Strawberry Shortcake Cookies really fail to remind me of shortcake but the strawberry part is strong. I can't say these tickle my fancy and I wouldn't choose them over the real thing, but I give them points for being their own thing. 

Try if you're a strawberry lover but not if you want to have them with shortcake. 

Birds Eye Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

Birds Eye Buffalo Cauliflower Wings are breaded Cauliflower. Are they good? Meh, I wouldn't get more of them but they did clear my sinuses. 

Some of the pieces are just too large but the flavor is just right. It all comes down to mouth feel but I would never eat these as finger food. I hat to cut a few of them into peaces which did not work well with the breading. 

If you love wings you should try these. I like wings but these just aren't as good. They could be better, but I did eat them all.
 

Andrea Alfredo Truffle Pasta Sauce

 When I saw Andrea Alfredo Truffle Pasta Sauce I got every bottle they had and I'm glad that I did because this stuff is rather good. Creamy and smooth it adds to whatever I eat it with but never overpowers leaving every bite its own flavor. 

It is easy to use as well not needing to be heated if placed on fresh hot food. If you run across this stuff and eat pasta then buy Andrea. I just love this pasta sauce. 

Bitter Melon Gourd

Bitter Melon Gourd is something we eat as diabetics. It has something that lowers your blood sugar and man does it live up to its name. I have to admit that I wouldn't have really gotten this for any reason other than health benefits. It doesn't do all that much but neither does my medication. 

If you want to bring down that blood sugar than this is what you eat but the flavor can be very strong and it should be cut small and mixed with other food. 

Also, this tends to be expensive.
 

La Bottega Della Torta Chocolitaly Lemon Cake

La Bottega Della Torta Chocolitaly Lemon Cake is a true Italian lemon cake. This is really good as cake goes. Just the right amount of lemon, sweet, moist. I have to admit I didn't expect this to be as good as it is. 

 Then again, I'm a big fat dude and it is cake.

Hooters Dark Rum

 Hooters Dark Rum was at my local Grocery Outlet at 40% off the normal price, and me not being a rum guy I still had to try it. I can say this has an evolving flavor that runs from sweet to hard biting as a shot and is smooth with cola. 

I would not use this as a shooting spirit, few in this price range are, but it pared well with my drink. 

If you come across this you may want to buy a bottle or two just as a conversation piece. Who wouldn't smile if they saw a bottle of Hooters Dark Rum? It makes a find mixer and came at a good price. 

Veggiecraft Rice Made with Cauliflower Cheddar

'Veggiecraft Rice Made with Cauliflower' sounds like something an AI came up with. I mean, I know there is counterfeit rice now days and such but what is this stuff? Then they add the Cheddar in there and I figured "I should try this. I'm a fat slob and this has to be good for you".

Well, I have to admit it wasn't that bad. It wasn't as good as Mac & Cheese, but it was fine. It could have used more of the cheddar flavor, but that could be because I'm not used to making this product. 

If you buy rice for reasons other than its price and the fact that it's easy to make then this is something you should really try. I'm not going to stop buying my beloved California Wild Rice, but I don't mind this at all.
 

The Conqueror Amalfi Coast Virtual Challenge

 The Conqueror Amalfi Coast Virtual Challenge is an award you pay for, work for, and then get. It comes with a good amount of postcards telling you about the area it is based on and all about the lemons and lemon alcohol that is made there. 

The postcards you get by email are Vietri Sul Mare, Cetara, Minori, Amalfi, Conca dei Marini, Positano, and Sorrento. Each will come individualized and dated. They are in truth a good way to see more of the world. 

The 'bling' itself folds open to reveal a map and pamphlet. Part of this is paper and that's a down side for me. However, buying this meant that I planted five trees to make the world better. I'm proud that I have this, and it looks good on the shelf.

 If life is getting too fast and you need a sit down and relax then  Signature Select Water Crackers Cracked Pepper may just be your thing. 

They are crunchy crackers that hold what ever you put on them so they work. As with all Signature Select items they are the basic idea of what they are and are just there to get the job done. Simple, and simple can be good.
