Texas Tamale Company Beef Tamales are as good as Tamales can be without the essential lard. These things are best for me after getting cooked to death in the microwave which makes them solid enough to handle. Steaming or light cooking will leave these easy to brake when you try to eat them.

I had the beef ones and chicken ones. I enjoyed them. While they're in no way comparable to some of the homemade tamales I've had in the past, these are very good and quick. Easy to microwave them instead of heating up the stove on a hot Texas day. I take mine out of the husks and cook them soaked in enchilada sauce and topped with shredded cheese.Yumm!
