Marie Callender's Fried Chicken Mac And Cheese Bowl

 I don't know who at Marie Callender's thought this Fried Chicken Mac And Cheese Bowl was a good idea, but they should get canned. It's bad chicken and there isn't much of it. I guess the noodles are okay, but they are on the bland side. 

If it were not for the fact that I was eating this for a review I would be questioning my life choices with this meal.  Dumping some vegetables on top would have made it better, but not by much. 

It does get points for being eco-friendly food featuring a paper tray. It'll still go to the trash heap, but I guess it will brake down faster and not release harmful chemicals if burned. 

Great idea, poor execution. 

Banquet Country Fried Chicken Mega Bowls

 Banquet Country Fried Chicken Mega Bowls have what I could almost call chicken but not fried chicken. Rather this is breaded chicken and it is some sad breaded chicken at that. 

This would have been better if I dropped some real chicken on top but even Chicken McNuggets are laughing at this chicken. The corn and mashed potatoes are okay. The gravy is just there so the worst part is the chicken. 

If you need food fast, these will not be good for you because they take some time to heat up and need to cool down as well. If what you want is to come home, pop one of these in the microwave, and then watch a YouTube video, this has you covered. 

I still would call this food in the very general sense.

Hungry-Man Boneless Fried Chicken

 Hungry-Man Boneless Fried Chicken isn't very fried. I would say it is chicken. Stuff looks so good on the cover, and yet it disappoints in the mouth. Even the corn feels like a downgrade from canned corn that you normally get at the store. 

Then again, once you eat one you still want another. It's hard to figure out why this level of disappointment is so fulfilling. I wouldn't buy these again, but I ate all three of the ones I got in a day.

Banquet Chicken Fried Chicken Meal

 Banquet Chicken Fried Chicken Meal almost tastes like food. It does not taste like food but it is near enough to food that if you are hungry it will food enough. 

The 'chicken' has a not chick like nature to it that only comes from processing and the grave is too thin and lacking in sausage. Of all the Banquet meals this one does not make me sick. That is a low bar, but if you can food it food it and don't be hungry.

Pioneer Cafe Fried Chicken Dinner

The true joy of fried chicken is that you can rip it apart getting at the bits of meat stuck to the bone. It's a dominance thing. As you can't do that at a restaurant I'm not sure why they sell fried chicken but Pioneer Cafe in Glendale will do room service for the Days Inn Glendale so that could be why. 

You get a lot of chicken in this meal. I mean, look at that! I found it so filling I had to take it easy afterward.
