Tam's Burger Chili Cheese Fries

I was out with a friend, and he decided to pay at Tam's Burger so I got one of the less expensive items on the menu which was the Chili Cheese Fries. "Is that all your having?' he asked me and then it came and was more than I could finish.

These are about as good as they look. Not hot enough to melt the cheese and without enough chili. The chili was also very mild.

I can't say I loved these, but I can't say I disliked them. They stand in the middle ground of being very satisfying but not that great.

Archibald's Drive-Thru Chili Cheese Fries

Archibald's Drive-Thru is a small chain of about six restaurants in southern California and there Chili Cheese Fries are rather good. They are on the small side by comparison to other fries of that nature but they do stand out in flavor.

I mean, these taste like chili  as apposed to mud like many chili cheese fries.

Good show. I don't like eating mud.

Baker's Drive-Thru Chili Cheese Fries

Baker's Drive-Thru Chili Cheese Fries are big and cheesy just how I like them and they fill you up like nothing else. I have to say that these aren't crap. I thought they would be crap but they're not crap.

Good deal, try these things.

RC Burgers (South Gate) Chili Cheese Fries

RC Burgers (South Gate) Chili Cheese Fries were hot and soggy. I mean, if the fries had been fresh this would have kicked real tail, but they weren't so this was a mess. I didn't finish it, but then I had indigestion.

Sonic Drive-In Chili Cheese Fries

Sonic Drive-In Chili Cheese Fries are so meh that I think the normal fries are actually better. I mean, not enough chili and that isn't real cheese. Fail.

Ted's Burgers Chili Cheese Fries

Ted's Burgers in Anaheim served up this plate of Chile Cheese Fries and the things are massive. Are they great? No. The fries are so so and the chili is passable, hot enough to be true chili, but not that hot.

Would I order these again? Not really. I thought they were fine and a good meal for someone on a budget but they take up too much room that you could be filling with  burger.

Titan Burgers Chili Cheese Fries

In Ontario California there is a Titan Burgers, and if you go there these chili cheese fries may be yours. Now, I can't say these are great, they are big and a bit more spicy than other offering of this nature.

The only big negative I have to point out is that the fries just weren't crisp. All in all, get this if you're hungry because it's big.

Maggie's Pub Chili Cheese Fries

Maggie's Pub 'Chili Cheese Fries' are big. I mean, I had to take some home kind of big. I can't say these are the best thing on the menu, but I can say these are nice and filling. If you have a large party these are the thing to buy.

That said, there are some things wrong with them. First, the 'chili' is mild. Some folks like mild chili and some like it strong. I've had weaker chili, but I think this still could have been stronger. Second, it's not all real cheese. Nacho cheese is not at all cheese and that being put under the chili was a big disappointment.

All in all, I would not get this again because there are better things on the menu. Stick with those onion rings if you ask me.

Duke's Chili Cheese Fries

Duke's Chili Cheese Fries look little like their image on the menu and that's kind of a good thing given what that image looks like. Still, I didn't care for these. They were passable and nothing more.
If you have a look at the menu you can see that the chili cheese fries look much larger and more chili and are made of plastic. I'm not sure which I would want more, because neater look all that great.

Art's Burgers Chili Cheese Fries

'Art's Burgers' is a little drive through located in El Monte California. They don't take credit cards so when I go I have to have cash or a check card ready, but I drop by once or twice a week.

My go to is an order of Chili Cheese Fries which is quick, inexpensive, and satisfying. For one thing that is all real cheese. You get no cheese spread crap like I've had in other places. The chili is mild and the fries plentiful.

Eating at 'Art's Burgers' brings me back to my youth here in southern California and those chili cheese fries are a part of Americana that no one should miss.

Eat at Art's and support small business.

Farmer Boys Harvest Fries w/ Chili Cheese

Farmer Boys "Harvest Fries w/ Chili Cheese" are a solid buy for any chili cheese fries fan. They were crispy and had  enough chili and cheese to cover the fries. The chili is better than some I've had and where it is not hot chili it is passable. I will get these again.

Original Tommy's Chili Cheese Fries

Original Tommy's Chili Cheese Fries are true to their name but lack the flavor of fries with just ketchup. In a world where ketchup is better than your chili I can't understand how you don't think about your life choices.

Anyway, these will make you less hungry, and I can honestly say that if I grew up eating them I wouldn't think much of fast food.
