Green Giant Veggie Select Carrots in Butter Sauce

I found Green Giant Veggie Select Carrots in Butter Sauce to be on the bland side with the sauce almost absent. I guess carrots for breakfast may be odd to start with and the sausage and pancakes may have been too rich an accompaniment.  

I would say that these are carrots, and I should have lightly steamed them before adding them into my pan as I cooked and making them more flavorful with searing. I'm not a big fan of frozen carrots to start with, but then who is?
