Lunchables Snack Duos Ham, Cheddar & Mini Ritz Cracker

Lunchables Snack Duos Ham, Cheddar & Mini Ritz Cracker are one of the dumbest ideas I have ever put in my mouth. The dumbest was opening a tube of superglue with my teeth. Stuff got in my mouth and took more than an hour to get out.

These however take simple food and make it take longer to eat so that by the time your done lunch is over, and you have to go back to work. 

When I was a kid, lunch was down my throat and I was on the playground a soon as possible so why make a snack that takes longer for children? 

I would get it if it were for fat people who needed to spend more time eating but this is for children. Haven't we wasted enough of their lives? 
 

Cafe Valley Triple Citrus Swirl Cake

 Cafe Valley Triple Citrus Swirl Cake showed up at my local Smart and Final and so I figured I should get two. I took one to work and the folks at work really loved it. I mean, the triple citrus doesn't really hit hard and the cake is on the mild side. I have to say it looks good and will be loved when placed on your table.

This cake will make you look fancy. It will also taste good.

Libby's Potted Meat

 I wanted to try potted meat ever since seeing Sling Blade as it featured in the film and I had never heard of it. Once I tried it it became something for me to keep about for when I need to review crackers. Libby's Potted Meat lives up to the idea by overwhelming the flavor of most crackers and leaving them to add mouth feel.

It packs a lot of strong flavor in that little can, and how you serve it will make a difference. If you want to bring out the flavors of other food use sparingly. If you want to cover the fact that your crackers aren't that fresh use a lot. 

Be advised that your cats may want to try this so save some for them. 

DiGiorno Breakfast Croissant Cinnamon Roll Pizza

 Had they not legalized pot I would think we wouldn't have DiGiorno Breakfast Croissant Cinnamon Roll Pizza. Remember that I live alone now and have few friends who would try this with me, so I had to eat the whole thing. 

It's not as good as a cinnamon roll. I guess it's easier to make than a cinnamon roll. i don't eat cinnamon rolls often. I will grant that my hands didn't get as dirty as they would have if i had a sticky bun. 

Still, this was just okay. It wasn't something I would go out and buy again. Sadly, I got three of them thinking I was buying something else.  

Great concept, poor execution.

Nonni's Lemon Blueberry & Almond Thin Cookies

 Nonni's Lemon Blueberry & Almond Thin Cookies are best had with coffee and they aren't the kind of cookies you'd give to kids. Rather they are the posh cookies you would serve with tea when company comes over. 

These are the kind of cookies that you will be able to say no to, which makes the individual wrapping a plus. Buy these if you have a refined palate, and like coffee or tea.

Wiley Wallaby Green Apple Licorice

Most people don't remember that licorice is a flavor. It has also come to mean this kind of candy and the normal flavor is cherry (Red Vine). These Wiley Wallaby Green Apple Licorice sticks are almost as good as eating an apple but without all the health benefits. 

They looked so good I had to try them and they did not disappoint. If apple is a flavor you like then these will make you hum.  Then again, just that name, Wiley Wallaby, has always made me smile.
 

SE Grocers Essentials Macaroni & Cheese Dinner

 SE Grocers Essentials Macaroni & Cheese Dinner is one of those store brands that is almost as good but not the real deal. I noted it to be lighter in color and to have less flavor than the name brand product. 

In the end, this is food made for poor people to keep them alive. You should very much respect the working poor. They give it there all but normally stay poor. 

Eating this is kind of depressing. 

First Street Chocolate Pudding Pie

 Chocolate Pudding Pies are a kind of food I tend to reach for when I am truly feeling down. I can tell you last week was a monster for me and a trip to Smart and Final brought me to these First Street Pudding Pies which are some of the worst I've ever had. They don't really make me feel any better. 

I knew they were terrible for me. Frankly, anyone eating one of these monstrosities has to have a little of a death wish. Still, with three kinds of sugar they still weren't all that sweet and the crust was just tasteless and bad. 

I thought I felt bad before I ate these but now I feel even worse. 

Keep clear of these things. They just leave you wanting. 

Belgin Boys Lemon Cookie Tarts

 A shortbread cookie with a truly tart lemon jelly Belgin Boys Lemon Cookie Tarts are a really good thing to have with coffee. To add to this they are individually wrapped so that they don't go stale if you can stop yourself from eating them. 

I have never been too into tarts but these are really good. I shouldn't eat them because I'm the blob, but this is no reason you should have to abstain. 

Moonshot Climate Friendly Crackers Margherita Pizza

 Moonshot Climate Friendly Crackers showed up at my local store in their Margherita Pizza form, and I figured I should try them. I have to admit they have some flavor to them. They don't have massive amounts of flavor so eating them with something with as much flavor as the potted meat I have used hear is a bad idea. They will, however, add a good amount to mild cheeses. 

In the modern world we have to think about how our crackers impact the environment and these are supposed to be neutral. I hope they are and I hope they ketch on. I liked them, I really do.

Two-Bite Lemon Tarts

 Two-Bite Lemon Tarts have a mild to middle level lemon flavor and a nice flaky crust that should be had with coffee or milk. I have to say these are not the ultra sweet of some candy but they are the more refined sweet of things that grown people should eat. 

These would be a find thing to serve with afternoon tea or when company comes a knocking. 

As for me, I shouldn't eat them, because I'm a fat pig. 

The Laughing Cow Blends Chickpea & Cheese Spread with Herb

 The Laughing Cow Blends Chickpea & Cheese Spread with Herb is what you get if you mix humus and cheese spread. The result is okay. I wouldn't call it great, but, well, it just kind of is. I'm not like loving this stuff to be honest. 

This is a thing that is and it may be good to use as a kind of glue to stick things to your crackers. 

Jim Bean Original Coffee

 For those of you who like the taste of whiskey in your coffee but don't want to get drunk there is Jim Bean Original Coffee. The early morning days at the cabin to go out and fish in the freezing cold must really have been good times for you. 

Me, I don't look back fondly on those days getting trout blood on my boots and hitting the hard stuff to get me going and keep my fingers warm. 

Past that, I can't say that this is a bad flavor but I'm not the biggest fan of flavored coffee. When I drink it black I like the taste of coffee and when I add cream the cream is what flavores it for me. 

Still, there is nothing wrong with this coffee. It's dark, hot, and full of caffeine so it gets me going. Odd stuff but not bad.  

Emperador Lemon Sandwich Cookies

 Emperador Lemon Sandwich Cookies didn't survive transit in one piece They are mildly sugary and okay. I don't dislike them and  I don't really love them.  

Most of the lemon sandwich cookies I've had were more lemon and less cream than these with denser cookies. To be honest these are good enough to get for your kid's lunch. 

Me, I can't buy more, because I'm a diabetic and my sugar intake is killing me. 

Pop-Tarts Eggo Frosted Maple Flavor

 Other than the pattern on some of the tarts Pop-Tarts Eggo Frosted Maple Flavor have nothing to do with Eggos. 

Eggo Toaster Waffles are delicious. I don't' know why, and I don't care, but they have always been a welcome part of my day. Haven't had one in years, but I will never forget them.

These, are, well, not bad. Not bad at all. In fact, for Pop-Tarts they are top of the line. I don't know why more people don't buy them. Sad as it is to be eating Pop-Tarts in the first place these are cleaner than waffles with stuff on them. 

I have eaten a number of dry waffles but I'm a big fat dude, and I'm sure none of you do that right?

Anyway, for Pop-Tarts these really kick tail. 

Briette Cheese Brie Creamy Blue

 I found this Creamy Blue Brie Cheese by Briette to be creamy but have little of a flavor past that. I will grant that I expected it to be nasty and smell bad. After all, it had sat for way too long in my refrigerator. 

Fine cheese isn't as nasty as I thought it would be. Sadly, my cats also took an interest to this cheese, and so I had to give them some. They didn't think as much of it and after a few licks left it alone. 

This stuff is just fine. If you like your cheese creamy and mild then I have to say this is for you. As for me, I'm not a cheese person so I wouldn't really get this again unless it turns out to be good in salad. 

Pukka Herbs Tulsi Clarity Tea

 

Pukka Herbs Tulsi Clarity Tea tastes like tea, who knew, and sent me right to bed. I had it both as an iced and hot version and was able to get through two pots of tea before it became and issue. 

I have to admit that if the tea is what put me to sleep  it's some good stuff. The flavor is okay but the impact is great. 

Weston Foods Lemon Meringue Pie

I have never understood Lemon Meringue Pie. I mean, Meringue? This pie by Weston Foods isn't bad once you get past the Meringue. The Meringue doesn't taste like much so it isn't bothersome but you should only eat it with the lemon. 

Why have I never seen a lemon pie. Anyway, this was something I got for a friend who likes lemon. Me, I thought it was okay but I wouldn't get it again. Mostly, I wouldn't get it again because I'm fat and disgusting, but there is some better things out there I would rather have.
 

Talking Rain Essentials Watermelon Lemon

 Talking Rain Essentials Watermelon Lemon is a hydration beverage designed to return electrolytes to your body. Talking Rain is some really good stuff but I think their normal water is a little better than this. This is kind of watered down, which is fine for water, but not all that apealing. 

 I have to admit that where as I like this product enough to keep drinking it I don't think I like it enough to buy it over other talking rain products. 

Not bad, worth trying, could be better. 

Jell-O Unicorn Magic Cupcake Pudding Snacks

 Jell-O Unicorn Magic Cupcake Pudding Snacks are just vanilla. They are not magical in anyway, and they don't taste like unicorn. I don't get the whole obsession with unicorn flavored things. They don't taste that great. 

Anyway, these are brightly colored to attract dumb children because dumb children apparently don't like off white pudding. 

Fail.

Pop-Tarts Peach Cobbler

 Is a peach cobbler a peach who repairs shoes or a man who repairs shoes made of peaches? 

Anyway, Peach Cobbler Pop-Tarts are not bad. I like them better than most of the Pop-Tarts I've had. It would be better if it was more peach. I mean, I wouldn't have said this was peach, but as Pop-Tarts go this didn't make me depressed like they normally do.

Folgers Blonde Silk Coffee

 Folgers Blonde Silk Coffee tastes like coffee. I have to admit that it is rather smooth as coffee goes but past that it just tastes coffee like. Blonde coffee isn't as bitter as other coffees, but then it has less flavor in general. 

Most of us coffee folk like our coffee dark and bitter like the lives we live. This stuff is not as bitter as normal coffee is so I guess it's more for morning people.

Hot Pockets Sliced Beef'N Cheddar

 Hot Pockets Sliced Beef'N Cheddar is the kind of thing you don't eat in a good shirt. It drips all over you no matter how careful you are. That is not to say that I dislike these leaky bags of beef and cheese, only that I will not buy more because of the mess. 

In truth, they are okay but I shouldn't really eat them because they are bad for me. I should be eating salad.

Steaz Prickly Pear Water with Green Tea

Steaz Prickly Pear Water with Green Tea is organic and fair trade which makes it something of a hippy drink. I have to say it really did put a pep in my step even as it didn't taste that great. Then again, you don't want something like this to taste so great that you drink too much of it. 

You do have to shake the heck out of this stuff to get it to not have bits floating around. Once you get past that the drink really grows on you. Hippy drink or not, this is okay.
 

The Daily Crave Beyond Churros Double Chocolate Gluten Free

 In the world of things that should not exist are these The Daily Crave Beyond Churros Double Chocolate. They taste nothing like churros, all grant my idea of a churro is something sold at Costco, and they don't go well with coffee. 

I guess they are better for me than churros, but they don't remind me of churros and they don't kill my cravings for churros. I tend to show up at Costco right as they open to get a fresh churro every now and then. 

Better for you isn't all that great unless they also taste good. I could just eat an apple instead of one of these and it would be much better for me. I also wouldn't look at an apple and want to go to Costco to get a churro. 

Albertsons' 1 Layer German Chocolate Cake

 Albertsons' 1 Layer German Chocolate Cake is just a bit underwhelming. The cake itself is not sweet and those aren't pecans as tradition would require. I got a mouth full of coconut that just wouldn't chew down.

I took one of those to work and the next day they had only eaten one piece of the thing. So, it's okay but not great. I wouldn't buy this again.

Chef Boyardee Cauliflower Rings With Vegetables

 If there was a food that did nothing but keep you alive I would figure it would taste like Chef Boyardee Cauliflower Rings With Vegetables. The stuff tastes old and stale and it looks like something you would eat after the world ended.  

Eating a cup of this makes me thing of popping a RadAway and grabbing my heat to go wonder the waists. I wish I had a dog. I'm not sure that dog would eat this.

Nuun Sport Cherry Limeade

If you're a fan of cherry limeade this offering from Nuun will leave you wanting. It tastes like very little. The fact that it's Nuun Sport and so delivers some caffeine does make this something of a better product for me, but flavor wise it's a bust. 

If you think Nuun is a multivitamin think again. It's fancy Gatorade. I like it better than Gatorade, but it's still the same sort of thing.   

Another point is how long it takes to dissolve.  As much fun as it is to watch it does get old after a spell and it takes more than five minutes. I drop it in water before my shower. 

With all it's faults I think this stuff is okay and I think I'll buy other flavors just to try them. Then again, I have reviews to write and three other flavors to try.
 

Lofthouse Lemon Frosted Sugar Cookies

A coworker of mine had a bad night and he loves lemon so I got these Lofthouse Lemon Frosted Sugar Cookies to make him feel better. They were so very lemon that no one but him would eat the dang things. 

If you want lemon, these bring the lemon like a hurricane. They are not for everyone but lemon lovers will love them.
 

Rockstar Punched

 Rockstar Punched is another of the okay products from Rockstar. I have to say that it did not make me feel punched but lately I've been running on empty so it got me off my massive tail end and out for a walk. 

Look, it's the second of the new year and you probably have a hangover so chugging one of these will help. Not as much as a monster, but if this is what you can find then hit it, and get to work before they can you.

If you're New Year's resolution was to complete a marathon then The Conqueror has you covered. A good number of Conqueror challenges have some kind of things about them that makes them stand out. This one is a fun little thing you can show your kids. It's also one more thing to get lost. 

Anyway, I got this because it meant five trees were planted and that's what's important to me.
