Sheboygan Sausage Company Beer Bratwurst

Sheboygan sounds like a He-Man knock off you get at a discount store. In truth, it is both as city and a county in Wisconsin. Sheboygan Sausage Company Beer Bratwurst are made in that city and they didn't have much of a beer flavor but rather were very salty.
 

I must admit that they cooked fast and I needed to add a bit of oil to really get them going. These sausage are best for adding to things sliced and not whole. Their salt content will overpower most food but do well to season vegetables.   

The truth is that they need to be balanced out and a few good beers will do. Great sausage for making gumbo.

  Sheboygan Sausage Company Original Recipe Bratwurst reminds me of the sausage I used to get at restaurants when I was more of a breakfast person. These are thicker and need to cook longer.

I found these to be too salty for me, but that could be because I'm eating more vegetables. I think I'll cut these up to make something else, because I need to spread out that salt.
