King's Hawaiian Hawaiian Sweet Hot Dog Buns

King's Hawaiian has these Hawaiian Sweet Hot Dog Buns and I'm not sure why. The flavors don't work that well together. I think maybe my choice of topping is what killed this but I don't see these showing up and doing well at your next BBQ.

Also, the buns are on the fragile side. I really thought this was a good brand so maybe I got a bad batch.

    I like having these hot dog buns with Bratwurst (boiled in beer and then finished on the grill). The only thing I top them with is a line of yellow mustard. I used to haul Kings Hawaiian Breads by the frozen truckload from the Kings Hawaiian Bakery in Torrance, CA- back when Torrance was the only Bakery they had and it shipped product all over the USA and Canada.
