Olive Garden Citrus Chicken Sorrento

Meh, the vegetables are not good. The chicken was passable, but the vegetables left me flat. I know that this dish is chicken, but the vegetables take up more than half the plate so they should be good.

Oliver Garden Stuffed Mushrooms

Moist, these are very moist. I think they are okay but rather moist. Oh, yeah, and these are the worst thing you can order on the Create A Sampler menu.

Olive Garden Calamari

Calamari should not be chewy, and this was not chewy. I love it when the Chewy stays in the Star Wars and the Calamari is crisp. This is one of those cases. I really liked this stuff.

Olive Garden Toasted Ravioli

These were the best thing on the appetizer menu so far as I can see. I have never had toasted Ravioli before but this was good. It was also loaded with sodium fat and terrible for me. I shared these and you should as well. Eat in moderation.

Olive Garden Bread Sticks

I googled these things and found that a bread enthusiast (that's a thing!) website came up before the Olive Garden website did, and that should tell you something.

Now these are addictive, 140 Calorie, fat glazed, diabetes sticks. You kind of need to have them but you should only have one or two.

Olive Garden Strawberry-Passion Fruit Limonata

The things I do for a review. I would never have thought of getting one of these but I wanted to grab something that only Olive Garden sold.

This took a long time to be ready and tasted like it was made of powder when it came.

I will admit it was elegant but looked much better than it tasted. Stick with good old water unless you have money to burn.

Olive Garden Minestrone Soup

Minestrone Soup may very well have its origins in the world of "this is what we have so cook it" predating the Latin tribes that eventually became ancient Rome. That means that there is no wrong way to make Minestrone Soup.

Keeping that in mind, there were a lot of tomatoes in this soup. If you don't like tomatoes you best give it a pass, but I have to say that as a starter this did okay.

Royal Crown (RC) Cola

This old classic has been updated. It's not as good as it was back in the day. I like Royal Crown Cola, generally with whisky, but it could stand to be more natural.

Grab a can, drink it down, and remember the original.

Smith and Forge Hard Cider

My Brother kept looking for this stuff at every place we shopped but couldn't remember its name until I googled what he said was in the commercial. Once he tried some he put it on his buy list for good.

Smith and Forge is not a sugary Cider. I find it true to the commercial in that it is not too sweet.

Me, I'm no big fan of this stuff, but then I don't have to pay for it.

Kellogg's Corn Pops

I remember getting this stuff as a kid and it having to be in a foil bag because it was so good that bugs would come after it. It was like a bag of gold nuggets for your taste-buds. Now I wish I could un-eat every last grain of this nutritional fool's gold.

To be honest, it's as bad as any other sugar cereal you get so consume in moderation.

La Romanella Wine Flavored Italian Dry Salami

There's that "Flavored" word again. Given that wine is the eleventh item on the list of ingredients I'm a little pissed.

Now we all know this stuff is bad for you but did you know a serving is six slices? With only eight grams of protein and 630mg of sodium that's not good. On the up side these things last long and go with almost everything.

Hart Brand Low Sodium Sliced Potatoes

Dude, they can potatoes! Oh no, I think I'm Bushing the word Potato! No one but me remembers the Bush spelling be.

In any case, Hart Brand Low Sodium Sliced Potatoes make an okay addition to salads or fried with your eggs. They bring very little to the plate and that's what you want from a potato.

Costco Coffee Freeze

When the heat is on and you need to cool down so bad you're willing to take a horrible head pain to chill this is a good option.

I mean, this is so cold you have to drink it slowly. Not a strong flavor but I didn't buy it for the taste.

You have to be into this kind of thing.

4 Earth Organics: Organic Baby Broccoli

When this stuff showed up at my local Costco I had to get some. I eat a lot of broccoli and so needed change in my diet. I found this a hair tougher than normal broccoli which is typical of eating the stems. Further, this does not last as well in the refrigerator.

For one thing, this broccoli bloomed, little yellow flowers, and it looked great raw but turned brown on cooking.

At 30 Calories per cup broccoli in general is great for you, and if you like broccoli this is a great buy. Not so much if you won't eat it in three days.

Kellogg's Individual Boxes

I remember back in the day when my mother first looked at what a serving was and tried to eat breakfast with only one serving of cereal .

One serving of breakfast cereal can fit in a six ounce glass!

Needless to say, a good breakfast is not a bowl of cereal, and I think Kellogg's lets you know that with these little boxes.

That said, I will never buy most of these again, because they are bad for you.

Hormel Compleats Kids Beef Ravioli in Tomato Sauce

Note that it does not say "Kid's Beef Ravioli" but rather "Kids Beef Ravioli" indicating that "Kids" is the kind of beef. As I honestly didn't notice the beef those kids must be tender little things.

In any case, these are much better for you than other "Compleats" items but still far from a complete meal. I can't recommend this tasteless sludge, but if you have to its better than the other versions.

Guerrero 12" Tortillas De Harina Burrito

I need big tortillas to make my snack wraps for work and these fit the bill. It's a little on the hard side for me to figure out how to show you what my lunch looks like for work, but that thing in the background is water in a thermos.

Anyway, these Guerrero Tortillas are on the hard side and rip easily. Other than that, they get the job done. Kind of high in Calories, but big tortillas have to be.

Wild Turkey American Honey Sting

Wild Turkey American Honey Sting is a lot like normal Wild Turkey American Honey only more expensive. I got it to try it and I'm happy I did but wouldn't buy it over good old American Honey.

Kellogg's Frosted Flakes

Remember when you loved these as a kid. No you don't, because your diabetes causes memory loss!

To be honest these aren't so bad in moderation. If you have them with the vegetables and only have one serving they are better than most of the carbohydrates you run into.

Enjoy in moderation.

Nissin Top Ramen Beef Flavor

"Beef Flavor" huh, is that like chocolate flavor? If it is that means there is no beef in it whatsoever. To be honest, if you eat half a pack like it says you are getting out okay and if you add vegetables like I do you should be in the clear.

The flavor packet is useless and got silver shreds in my teeth. I would not get this again but then I didn't get it in the first place. Someone gave me this at work.

First Street Black Beans

There just isn't much to say about canned beans. I mean, yeah, you can eat them with other stuff, but they add very little to the meal and are kind of high in salt.

Think of these as a canvas to paint flavor on and you may do okay with them. They work as a carbohydrate for those losing weight but are a little short on protein to be thought of as a combination.

That said I will probably get these again if they are the cheapest option or I can't find something healthier.

Helen Grace Chocolate Crunch Bar

Someone was selling these Helen Grace Chocolate Crunch Bars for charity and I got a few because I'm a sucker for charity. It has nothing to do with me being a fat pile of goo, honest, don't look at me like that!

Anyway, these are okay, they get chocolate on your hand even right out of the refrigerator so watch out. Consume as a carbohydrate and eat in moderation.

Hormel Compleats Cheese Tortellini

If you feel like dying a little each day you can eat this crap. It isn't good but it is cheap and fast. Sporting half of the saturated fat for the average human day, almost half the salt, and looking nothing like what is shown on the box I have nicknamed these death boxes.

That is not to say they are without redeeming properties. Nine teen grams of protein 40% of your daily calcium needs and three grams of fiber. That means you won't brake a bone when you fall down from the heart attack and crap yourself.

Neewer CN-160 LED Video Lighting

I've used this with no filter, the misted filter, and the amber filter. On the upside it's cheap and get's the job done but bump it against something you get little black streaks. I mean, if not for the streaks this would be a great product, but I mean it makes the camera top heavy so it falls over and gets black streaks on everything.

My writing desk looked like a two year old had written on it in black crayon!

Mission St. India Pale Ale

This is a smooth slightly bitter beer with a golden look and strong head. I think you have to be into that kind of thing to drink this beer.

I'm not a big drinker by any means so remember that fact. Still, it does kind of look like pee.

Equal Exchange Organic French Roast Decaf

I made the mistake of ordering Decaf and, well, it's not as good a real coffee. If I had no choice but to drink this stuff I think I would but it's just not a replacement for the real stuff.

What you get is something that reminds you of coffee. Give me caffeine or give me sleep.

UberMonster Energy Brew

This is a Monster Energy Drink that wants to be like beer. It wants to but is nothing like beer, or at least beer I have drunk.

It tastes like flat Monster. I mean, I would buy it again because I paid less for it than other Monsters.

Trader Joe's Chicken Breast Meat

I don't think there was any added salt but there was salt. 75mg's of salt so not enough to make a difference when I added it to ramen.

In any case, the only funny thing about this is that it does not say chicken breast but rather 'chicken breast meat'. I mean, did you grind up the meat and make it into these things?

Past that this is chicken. If you can cook this can be awesome.

Jennie O Turkey Meatballs Homestyle

Well, the last Jennie O Meatballs I had were like paper. These are like meat mixed with paper so they are better. Still, would never ever get them again.

Stay away from Jennie and her paper turkey.

BJ's Buffalo Chicken Pizza Hold the Onions

Who puts celery on a pizza?! I'll grant that other than the green crunch I felt like I was eating Buffalo Wings only with more bread and cheese.

I don't really like Buffalo Wings and would never buy this but if it floats your goat...what are you doing floating a goat? Weirdo, you need help.
