Scoops Ahoy Chocolate Pudding Ice Cream

This Scoops Ahoy Chocolate Pudding Ice Cream has been sitting in my freezer for too long but you know Ice Cream is like Pizza and Weed. Even when it's bad it's still good.

I was unimpressed as the texture was odd and it was kind of like rocky road without the nuts. 

I don't think they still make this stuff but maybe it will make a comeback with Stranger Things spin offs. I hope they make a better version if they do.

Pudding Ice Cream just sounds dumb to me but who am I?
 

Serendipity Ice Cream Unicorn Bliss Sundae

Serendipity Ice Cream Unicorn Bliss Sundae is ice cream for those of you who never grew up maybe because you got molested. It isn't great but it's still ice cream and it has flashy colors so children will like it. 

Look, most of the best ice creams look like crap, but we would still eat them out of a toilet shaped bowl. 

This on the other hand has these big white things that kind of remind me of bone that are hard to eat and crunch in your mouth. I think they're made of powdered sugar. 

This is not great ice cream so you will only love it a little bit. I found it disappointing and it only took me six months to eat it all.
 

Hood Boston Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

I have no idea what Boston Vanilla is but I guess they used it in this Hood Boston Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. It does have real bits of vanilla bean in there which is a good thing. It isn't enough vanilla which is a bad thing. 

To be honest, this just isn't all that great on it's own. this is the kind of ice cream that needs to be part of a bigger thing. Add some sprinkles or jelly beans to make this good and you're golden but on it's own it's kind of bland.
 

JT's Ice Cream Vanilla Fudge

 JT's Ice Cream Vanilla Fudge comes in a pack small enough for single people. Yeah, that's a plus for me because I'm fat and want to try new ice creams.

After that, it is just ice cream. Ice cream is always good. 

Tillamook Birthday Cake Ice Cream

 Ice Cream in December? Yeah, I'm fat, and I live in LA. In any case, Tillamook Birthday Cake Ice Cream is vanilla with stuff in it. That stuff is bits of cake and sprinkles, but it gives it an odd mouth feel.

I know this birthday cake flavor is making the rounds, but I have yet to be impressed. This is okay ice cream, not great, but okay.

Umpqua Cookie Dough Ice Cream

Ice cream is something that is hard to screw up.  Umpqua Cookie Dough Ice Cream is good as it is ice cream, but it doesn't have that spark that cookie dough has. I don't know what that spark is, it could be the vanilla, but it's not present in the dry lumps that inhabit this ice cream. It's still ice cream, and you will still love it, but it doesn't have that spark.

Tillamook Old-Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream

 Tillamook Old-Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream is meant to be upgraded. In this case I've added chocolate wine and molasses. Tillamook is never overly sweet and delivers that small town relaxing flavor that we all know and love. Good stuff.

Realgood Super Premium Tanzanian Vanilla Ice Cream

 Realgood Super Premium Tanzanian Vanilla Ice Cream is what it sounds like, and I didn't find it much better than any other ice cream. I would have liked more vanilla, but I think that's getting harder to find. 

It's hard to go wrong with ice cream so, yeah, you'll love this stuff.

DC Dark Knight Brownie Bite

 DC Dark Knight Brownie Bite is a must have for the Batman lover in you. I have to admit I would think Batman Ice Cream would be coffee flavored because he's always up at night. That, and Batman is really some rich white dude so really? Chocolate? 

In any case, the brownie bites do little for this ice cream but the chocolate bats are the bomb. 

Some fans may be disappointed that this does not taste like Batman, or even bat for that matter. Trust me, bat flavored ice cream would be terrible, and I have no idea what Batman tastes like, but I don't want to know. 

Not a bad ice cream. Would buy again.

DC Krypton Cookie Dough Superman Ice Cream

 Superman may not wear his undies outside of his pants any more, but you can now get some Krypton Cookie Dough Ice Cream to drowned your sorrows in. This is a world that needs a superman who doesn't have a rubber jaw and isn't so blue. 

How is the ice cream, it's okay. I mean, the blue things aren't that great and the cookie dough is small and could have more flavor. It's not bad ice cream, but it's not great. 

Tillamook Buttered Maple Pancakes Ice Cream

Tillamook Buttered Maple Pancakes Ice Cream is vanilla with pancakes in it. I mean, come on, Tillamook, where is the maple? That is not to say this is bad. Far from it, in truth I had this after a bad day at work, and it made me feel better. As ice cream goes this is good, as buttered maple pancakes go this is a fail.

Dreyer's Golden Lasso Twirl Ice Cream

Dreyer's Golden Lasso Twirl Ice Cream is what passes for a bad idea in the ice cream world. Not that it's bad per say, more that it's just not that great. You have vanilla ice cream that could use more vanilla and some caramel stars. I mean, stuff is okay. I don't expect it to taste like Wonder Woman or any other woman for that matter, but I also didn't expect it to taste like this.

Chillycow Mint Dark Chocolate Chip

Chillycow Mint Dark Chocolate Chip is ice cream that gets hard in
the freezer and so is hard to eat. It's not as good as normal ice cream, but it will make you less fat...then again, if all ice cream tasted like this it would have little ability to make people fat because no one would want to eat it any more.

The Joker Mint Cookie Madness

The Joker Mint Cookie Madness is not as good as mint and chip and as ice cream goes isn't vary madness. I mean, it's okay, purple chocolate is a little off putting but there is nothing really mad about this. I would have added some salted caramel because I've tasted madness and it's salty all right.

Tillamook Ice Cream Creamy PB & J

Is there anything better than peanut butter? Not really but ice cream is just as good. The only question is what happens when you ad some jelly in there. To be honest not much. There are a lot of Tillamook ice creams that I think are top notch but this one is not as good as all of those. It's not bad, just not great.

Tillamook Limited Release ice Cream Jam-Packed Sugar Cookies

Tillamook tells you it's a classy but down home ice cream. You can really see that with it's Jam-Packed Sugar Cookies which could really use more cookie. They only had one of these left at the market so I had to pick it up and try it and I'm glad I did, because it's a flavor that makes me want to smile.

I don't like fruity ice cream but this stuff is good. Not too rich, but very satisfying. 

Turkey Hill Pumpkin Pie Premium Ice Cream

Turkey Hill sounds like a place in Washington DC. Oddly, they make a really good ice cream. This Pumpkin Pie has pie crust and a nice buttery flavor that really reminds you of pie. Sadly, it could use more of the pumpkin part. I mean, didn't taste much like pumpkin pie. I would have like more spice as well. 

All and all, good ice cream. Worth trying. 

Blue Bunny Ice Cream Red Velvet Cupcake

Blue Bunny Ice Cream Red Velvet Cupcake gets the cupcake part but falls short on the red velvet. I will point out that it has red velvet chunks that taste on the dry side.

As Ice Cream goes this stuff just isn't that great. Get yourself some Rocky Road. 

Hostess Twinkies Ice Cream

I saw Hostess Twinkies Ice Cream and had to try this stuff, because I didn't even know they made Hostess Ice Cream. It's surprisingly good and not made with Twinkies. It's made with pound cake I think. 

In any case, this is a neutral flavor that lends it self to all kinds of concoctions that will tickle your taste buds.  Put this on your 'try it' list. 

Tillamook Mountain Huckleberry Ice Cream

I have never had Huckleberries before so I have no idea if 'Tillamook Mountain Huckleberry' Ice Cream is a good example of them. There are no berries in the ice cream per say. It's more like Huckleberry jam being a thick pulpy substance. 

Is it good? Well, yeah. I'd say it's a more refined ice cream for older people who are not looking for the richness of rocky road. It was a delightful mild chilled treat just right for a Montana afternoon.
