Cupcake Frosting Vanilla Flavored Vodka

This Cupcake Frosting Vanilla Flavored Vodka tasted like rubbing alcohol. It burnt my lips when I drank it and I could taste no cupcake or frosting. Maybe I got a bad bottle but this stuff was painful. I wouldn't drink it if I were me.
 

Tony's Chocolonely Milk Chocolate

 Tony's is chocolate that exists to stop child labor on chocolate farms by paying the farmers so they don't have to force their children to work to feed the family. It's a dynamic that hurts us all by incentivizing big families in poor areas. The more hands you have the better you can feed your family. The more hands you have the more mouths you have to feed. 

Add in the fact that all you have to do for fun is screw and you can't afford condoms and you get an ever expanding force of suffering humans to exploit. Or you can be like Tony's and pay the people enough so they can educate their children and feed their families.  

The result is this chocolate bar that I now feel bad about eating for some odd reason.

Tony's Chocolonely Milk Chocolate is the kind of chocolate bar you eat when you don't suck down chocolate like a human vacuum like I do. It's better for the world and expensive, but some darn good chocolate. 

You look at this stuff and understand that it isn't as rich as a Hershey's bar but with more of a creamy texture. You ask yourself why all chocolate can't have the same morality as Tony's and then remember that you wouldn't want all chocolate to be this expensive. 

It's almost like we shouldn't eat chocolate every day because it's bad for us.
 

Veggiecraft Lentil/Pea/Cauliflower Rotini Pasta

 Veggiecraft Lentil/Pea/Cauliflower Rotini Pasta is one of those "well, it's healthy" kinds of things that is just not as good as the real thing. They have more body and texture than normal noodles and you can take them or leave them. 

I wouldn't put these in salad. Normal noodles would be better for that, but at least these are supposed to be good for me.

Burger Zone Fish Sandwich

 Someone randomly got me a Fish Sandwich from Burger Zone in El Monte California and were as it was cold by the time I was informed it wasn't bad. I mean, it came hot but I was sleeping. 

Anyway, it had ketchup rather than tarter sauce which is fine by me because I hate tarter sauce. 

Past that, this was a fine fish sandwich. There was enough fish and if you wanted something more interesting you could have added what you wanted.   

I would get this again. 

Jack in the Box Chicken & Waffle Sticks

 Chicken & Waffle Sticks at Jack in the Box is okay. I've never had this combination before but there are whole restaurants built around the idea. The only real issue is that in terms of fried chicken Jack makes the worst that I've eaten. The waffles are fried like doughnuts.

If only the chicken wasn't too dang salty and the waffles have no sugar so they do crunch like a buttermilk old fashioned but have none of the taste.

This was okay, not good, but okay. 

Minees Orange Cream Sandwich Cookies

Minees Orange Cream Sandwich Cookies are the kind of thing that you leave in the pack until the end, because you just don't know about them. 

I have no real complaints as these don't have enough orange to make them stand out as orange. If you didn't know they were orange you may even miss the flavor. 

Orange goes well enough with coffee so I didn't mind it at all. I wouldn't get these again, but that's because I'm fat and disgusting and shouldn't eat cookies.
 

Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer Mango Apricot

Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer Mango Apricot tasted neither of mango or apricot. It tasted like something more than just seltzer, but other than being that there wasn't much flavor. 

I have to say, it was refreshing but with only 4% alcohol by volume it's not something that will get me drunk. 
 

Kelloggs Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Cereal

 I'm told Kelloggs Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Cereal is no longer on offer. I can't figure why other than the lack of peanut butter flavor. I mean, tasted mostly like chocolate to me.

I got it last year and on sale. I guess they were closing it out. I would never buy sugar cereal for reasons other than this blog but I do admit that this wasn't bad, it was just bad for me. 

Death in a box that you will love. Ask the company to bring it back if you want it for yourself. 

Christy's Donuts Chocolate Cruller

Christy's Donuts is a small shop in Hacienda Heights that I stopped at when getting my car worked on. It's a nice place to be if you have twenty minutes to kill. 

The Chocolate Cruller is a classic that is a little more than just a normal doughnut. They are a bit more moist and have for texture to them. 

This is the first Chocolate Cruller I've had in years but I must say that I do miss them. I hate being fat.
 

Jelly Belly Sunkist Pink Grapefruit Jelly Beans

 Jelly Belly Sunkist Pink Grapefruit Jelly Beans taste like grapefruit all right. I mean, the flavor stays with you for a bit and if you like grapefruit then this is your jam.

I find these to be solid but not great.

Oreo Churro Creme Sandwich Cookies

 Oreo Churro Creme Sandwich Cookies fail to capture the magic of the churro but then unless you get them fresh the churro isn't that great. These are solid cookies but the hard bits in the cream don't really make me think of churros. 

These needed more cinnamon and something that they just don't have. What that something is I can't say, but I can tell it isn't there.

Market Deli Yellow Mustard

Market Deli Yellow Mustard tastes like American Mustard. English Mustard is what we would call Spicy Mustard here in the US of A. So Market Deli Yellow Mustard is mustered, who knew, and it’s just as mustered as any other.

I would get this again.

 

Jack In the Box Pumpkin Spice Mini Churros

Every year companies push a little harder to get that Pumpkin spice money and Jack in the Box is starting early with their Pumpkin Spice Mini Churros. Unlike a real Churro that would have cinnamon and sugar these are filled with some baby puke looking stuff that almost has a pumpkin flavor to them.

 

All in all, they just don’t have the spice factor to make them worth eating, but if you would buy the normal version I guess these are an upgrade.

 

 

The Rustik Oven Slow Baked Artisan Sourdough Bread

The Rustik Oven Slow Baked Artisan Sourdough Bread is the kind of bread I want to get a bigger toaster to eat. I’m not a fan of Sourdough and this hardly tasted like Sourdough. I don’t get it, I mean, you can hardly taste the sour so why make sourdough at all? I would think people eat sourdough for the sour.

Anyway, this is soft but not overly soft spongy bread.  I find it edible without toasting but not as appealing.

It’s good bread but could be sourer.
