Jack In the Box Hot Honey Spicy Chicken Strips

Jack in the Box is not known for good food and their Hot Honey Spicy Chicken Strips are no exception. I should mention these are the 2025 edition because I think they roll these out every year.

 

The normal chicken strips are salty and the breading is heavy and thick. This means they give me indigestion. Now the hot version I haven’t tried this year as of yet so the hot honey is hot. I mean, it’s a building heat that will make me reach for a drink.

 

The honey part is a big fail as the “honey” is too thin and runny with little of the flavor associated with bee vomit. You find it all at the bottom of the box and so these are sticky enough to get your hands dirty but not enough to have the flavor you’re looking for.

 

McDonald’s McChicken Strips 2025

 McDonald’s has had McChikcen Strips before and they left for a reason. Now the things are back and better than before but still shy of good to be clear. I wouldn’t say these are worth going for but they are a little more chicken than the nuggets.

 The clown is pushing chicken because more people are eating chicken in the world of the bad economy. This is cheap chicken, but it just isn’t that great.

Pioneer Chicken Chicken Strips

I don't remember chicken strips at Pioneer Chicken when I was a kid. I would have loved these, and I wish they still had Pioneer Chicken by my house instead of the two locations in L.A. and Bell Gardens California. 

Truth is that if you're looking to love the past you need to get some good old fashion chicken at the Pioneer, but these strips are too good to pass up. Go get um' and save some history.

Pioneer Cafe Chicken Strips Appetizer

The Pioneer Cafe in Glendale has two kinds of Chicken Strips on the menu. This is a Appetizer and I've reviewed the meal. Oddly, these don't look or taste like the same strips. These had a thinner batter that was more flavorful and smoother.  

In any case, if you're a real protein hog or you just don't like the sides this is a great way to get in a meal. As an Appetizer you get three pieces so on the hard to share side.  

Jollibee Chicken Strips

I only go to Jollibee when I have to go to the office to pick up uniforms or something of that nature. This means you should take into account that I was in a bad mood when I had these Jollibee Chicken Strips. They stunk. Stael and lacking crunch they were a disappointment.

Pioneer Cafe Chicken Strips

Chicken Strips at the Pioneer Cafe in Glendale are basic, classic, and what your looking for when you order them. They fit the definition of chicken strips so well that there isn't a lot for me to say about them. One of the best things on the menu.
