My brother ordered the Summer Rolls Sampler appetizer as a meal at Pho-Ology Vietnamese Restaurant and he couldn't eat them. I'm not sure why, but he said the cucumber didn't agree with him. The strongest flavor was cilantro.
Now I can take or leave these because I've never been a fan of summer rolls but they are well made and rather interesting. Order this only if you have two at your table because you get two of each flavor.
Pho-Ology Vietnamese Restaurant's Chicken Curry is something of a milder curry with ample amounts of chicken and half a potato. It's a big potato. It also comes with rice.
This wasn't dazzling, but if you've never been introduced to curry this is a good place to start. The meat was very well cooked and came apart with a spoon. The curry sauce was thinner than what I'm normally find in curry restaurants.
If you want strong flavor this isn't it, but I found it palatable.
Pho-Ology Rocket Shrimp is something of a new take on fried shrimp only instead of battering them you wrap them in rice paper. I have to say I liked these. I'm not sure I like them more than the more traditional American shrimp but they were something new.
All in all, if you have a small party and you go to Pho-Ology then get these because they're good. Pricy for what you get but good.
