Romano's Macaroni Grill Loaded Fries

Romano's Macaroni Grill Loaded Fries are what you get when you take something that is very American and try to make it Italian. Moreover, this is not so loaded.

I have to grant you that French Fries have been around so long that no one knows where they came from and the first known 'Potatoes Served in the French Manner' appeared at the White House under Jefferson in 1802.

The modern French Fries became Fries in the early two thousands because of something to do with Iraq and our being their with no good reason. Well, at least we kill some jerks who abuse women, but I digress.

The modern fries are loaded down with everything from chilly to pickled peppers and are as much a part of America as fat people like me.

This on the other hand is not loaded. It is more garnished and lacking the flare of even it's more patriotic cousins. Try harder next time.

Romano's Macaroni Grill Baked Prosciutto & Mozzarella

Prepare to be underwhelmed its Romano's Macaroni Grill Baked Prosciutto & Mozzarella. Just so you know, Prosciutto is a cured ham often served raw or 'crudo' in Italy.

That would make this tasteless mass of calories Prosciutto Cotto. The baking did nothing to enhance the flavor of this subtle food. I believe the bland bread was a proper side to this, but the sauce did nothing for me.

I wouldn't get this again and this is only large enough for four people to have a taste and all you'll get is a taste.  Order if you're not that hungry or order something else.
