Roca Extra Dark

 What heaven on my tongue is Roca Extra Dark? I know I should never buy Roca because I often eat it before I get a chance to review the product. As Roca goes this is just as good as most which is why I should not buy it unless I drop a hundred pounds.

If you're thin enough to enjoy with out guilt then buy this product because it is so good. 

Seagram's Escapes Calypso Colada

 Seagram's Escapes Calypso Colada is a tropical punch with little alcohol. It has an after taste of coconut that turns into pineapple as you let it run from your mouth. 

I have to say I like the Escapes from Seagram's, but they just won't get you drunk.

Peanut Patch Sweet Heat Boiled Peanuts

 Peanut Patch Sweet Heat Boiled Peanuts are a limited edition flavor that, well, tastes like beans. Beans you can eat with your hands, but still beans.  

I got this stuff because I remember my old man eating boiled peanuts, and I wanted to know what they were like.  The old man told me that most of the peanuts on earth are eaten boiled. I can't figure why, these are okay but not all that great. I can take them or leave them.

Signature Black Cherry Soda

Signature Black Cherry Soda can be found at your local Vons or Albertsons and is a solid match for bigger brand name soda. If you like cherry cola you'll like this ... or I'm just fat and like everything. Or could be both. I mean, could be.
 

Taco Bell Wild Strawberry Freeze

 The Taco Bell Wild Strawberry Freeze is going out of stile as the heat of summer mildly dips for fall. I have to say I like these things but why the wild in the name? I mean, they didn't go out and get wild strawberries and that red color is most likely made by bugs they harvest for their pigment.

Anyway, if this is bug juice then it's really great bug juice.  I will buy this again.

Divina - Sea Salt & Rosemary Crostini Crackers

 Divina Sea Salt & Rosemary Crostini Crackers are a thick cracker with just the right amount of rosemary. I'm not sure if I used the right cheese with them but the crackers were rather good. I would buy them again.

Malt O'Meal Corn Flakes

 Malt O'Meal Corn Flakes are corn flakes and I love corn flakes maybe because as a kid I just had them all the time. It's hard to screw up corn flakes and these are not screwed up. 

Great taste, but what were you expecting.

The Original Boca All American Veggie Burgers

The Original Boca All American Veggie Burgers isn't going to replace a meat patty. They are on the dry side and need to be given the right condiments to make them work. They will not turn the meat eater but will keep the veggie man in check.
 

Canada Dry Ginger Ale

 Canada Dry Ginger Ale is the ginger ale I grew up with... that's not true, I think I drank the knock of brand for the most part. 

As ginger ales go this one is smooth and light on the ginger. It's just not what you want if you want a Moscow Mule. It just has no kick.  

Snapdragon Vegetable Pho

 Snapdragon Vegetable Pho is a different take on ramen but not the best flavor from this company. If you don't eat meat this can be an alternative. It is not certified vegan, but the ingredients are vegan.

In other words, this is a great product but the version of this great product for sad people who don't want to eat poor animals. Can't say I want to be one of them, can't say they are wrong. 

Tillamook Old-Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream

 Tillamook Old-Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream is meant to be upgraded. In this case I've added chocolate wine and molasses. Tillamook is never overly sweet and delivers that small town relaxing flavor that we all know and love. Good stuff.

Taco Bell Blue Raspberry Lemonade Freeze

I'd like there to be more lemonade in my Taco Bell Blue Raspberry Lemonade Freeze, but then I think I like these more ice and less sugar than the rest of the world. 

All and all, this is more refreshing than a coke but the mix of flavors had poor synergy.  I give it one thumb up, two on a hot day. 

 I can't think of a better way to turn your tongue blue, but I still wish someone would make a ginger slushy.
 

Juan Pollo Juan’s Big Burrito

 Juan’s Big Burrito at Juan Pollo will run you about as much as a Calzone Pizza at Little Caesar's. This is clearly not a good thing but this is a big burrito so it is filling and not as greasy.

I can see why Juan Poll isn't a big franchise. I mean, there food is good but not great and they take a long time to cook it then it isn't cheap.

Green Giant Cauliflower Pizza Crust Tuscan is a thing ... how good of a thing depends on what you put on it, but I can tell you that it is not as good as the real thing. This whole cauliflower in all sorts of stuff thing is a fad that so far isn't really taking off. At least not in my diet.
 

Taco Bell Loaded Beef Flatbread Taco

 The Taco Bell Loaded Beef Flatbread Taco was a short lived item on the Taco Bell menu which was marginally better than a soft taco. I mean, I liked  it but not that much more than the soft tacos and this made you burp it's flavor for hours afterwards.  

I talked to the girl at Taco Bell, and she said that you can still order the parts for this and make it yourself. I had no idea it was a thing at Taco Bell. I had no idea people would miss a Taco Bell item, because I had no idea people thought about Taco Bell that much.

I mean, It's Taco Bell. I thought most people walked up to Taco Bell and were like "I'm stoned, what can I get for three fifty?"

Litaly Sundried Tomatoes in Olive Oil

 Litaly Sundried Tomatoes in Olive Oil are one of those things I would think that I wouldn't like, but then I tried them and I do like them which is funny. I will admit that I don't like all that oil because it gets everywhere, but you can use it for cooking.

I used to live with a man who really loved these and we would decant the oil into another jar then use it as oil for cooking. 

All in all, I love these things and will buy them again.

Taco Bell Loaded Chicken Flatbread Taco

 The word loaded keeps being tossed around in terms of food now days and I don't care much for it. The 'Loaded' Chicken Flatbread Taco isn't loaded with all that much other than cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce. You can't really taste the tomatoes. 

Is it good, well, it is something of a novelty being better than a soft taco from Taco Bell but not that much better. I'm not saying no to another one of these, but I'm still ordering the good old tacos.

Main and Vine Wine Spritzer Cucumber Watermelon

 Main and Vine Wine Spritzer Cucumber Watermelon is the kind of thing you want to let breathe a little before you drink it. It tastes nothing like watermelon or cucumber. Drop this in a fruit soda and it will taste great but on it's own this is crap. 

Icee Watermelon Lemonade

Icee Watermelon Lemonade is a flavor that may show up at your local gas station. It tastes nothing like Watermelon or Lemonade and in fact is a little on the rich side for summer. 

 I have to say on the first try I didn't care for it as much but it grew on me. It's no Cherry Frost which will always be my number one, because that's what I got when I went out to the old roller rink with my mother. 

Moreover, this is a drink that will change things up a bit but will not replace the good old fashioned flavors you love. 

Then again, when the smoke is in the air, the trees are on fire, and we are at triple digits in the heartland a big old hunk of this is as close to heaven as I need to be.

Pantry Essentials Pasta Sauce with Meat

 Pantry Essentials Pasta Sauce with Meat sounds like something you get from the government when you can't afford food. If you live with that condition then bless you, and I hope things turn around for you soon.

So this is pasta sauce that tastes like you took the minimum ingredients and made pasta sauce. It will do the job and it's at a good price. Past that, well, what do you really want. Put some garlic in there if you want more flavor.

Honey Stinger Waffle

Honey Stinger Waffles are some kind of food ration that is meant to be taken out camping or hiking. This is the kind of thing you can keep in your work bag in case you get hungry or your blood sugar drops. 

I have to admit these aren't bad, and if the store had other flavors I would try them. These are the Honey but they have chocolate.  They aren't overly sweet so I don't eat the whole box but are good enough to make me want them when I am naturally hungry. 

Good product. 

Fareway Snackers Snack Crackers

 Fareway Snackers Snack Crackers are not as buttery as Ritz but they work okay. I mean, you really have to be a cracker nut to care. If what you're thinking of is a party were everyone will be sober get the real deal, but if people are going to be drunk off their pumpkin then you can get these.
 

Q Ginger Ale

 Q Ginger Ale is one great mixer. I mean, I drank it without alcohol. It really settled my guts and made me sleep better. This is just one great drink. I would totally buy more of this. 

Aids in digestion.

SunButter Organic On the Go Sunflower Butter

SunButter Organic On the Go Sunflower Butter is a product that I looked at and thought 'well, they make that then' and it was on sale so I got some. It can separate and leave oil on things so it may not work that great on the go, but it tastes like sunflower seeds.

If you like sunflower seeds you really must try this product. As for me, well, I'll be putting this in some smoothies. 

Artisola Organic None-GMO Cheese Tortellini

 Artisola Organic None-GMO Cheese Tortellini is on the bland side of Tortellini. I mean, as little noodles filled with cheese go I can't really taste that cheese. How good these are will depend on what you cook them with. They are a blank canvas on which you should paint your masterpiece.

Prairie Gourmet Wild Rice Blend

 Prairie Gourmet Wild Rice Blend has more heft and sophistication as apposed to normal white rice but is not as complex as good old California wild. The mixed grains darken as they cook and leave a dark purple over any food they're cooked with. 

As a kind of fine dining these are more for look than anything else and they will taste like what you flavor them with. This is a find product, but for most of us I guess we just don't think that much about rice. It's better for you than normal white so eat up.

Sobieski Cynnamon Vodka

Sobieski Cynnamon Vodka is to vodka as Fireball is to whisky. This stuff is made in Poland and in as much as everything sucks in Poland they have great vodka and herring. 

I knew a man who left Poland and he said he hated it there because all you could do is work and drink. Well, they make some find drink.
 

Q Spectacular Kola

 Q Spectacular Kola is the kind of thing you buy to add to vodka or fine whisky. It is not as pronounced a flavor as other colas. I find this to be a real sipping drink. It isn't for everyone but it is for a shot of one oh one. Drink responsibly, kids. 

Better Valu Macaroni & Cheese Dinner

 Better Valu Macaroni & Cheese Dinner lives up to it's name being good for the money and enough for one person to have for a meal. I would not eat it on it's own, but rather have it with vegetables. 

The idea of this stuff is to feed a hungry family, and I'm all about that.

YoCrunch Snickers

 I meh at you, YoCrunch Snickers, you're sad and flavorless. There just isn't enough Snickers to make this work and packing it all cut up like that makes it stale. I love Snickers, and I would never get this again.

I mean, I'm a fat monster and should never have crammed this in my fat face to start with, but you get the idea.
